The ZIP file for fix the In call volume bug
Trying it out right now. It booted successfully, the setup went smoothly but it seems like it hangs for like 10-ish seconds when changing the accent color to blueberry. That's the only thing I have noticed for now.

It seems like double tap to wake is also not working, but I believe that is the problem on all custom ROMs at the moment.

Oh, I see. Also, do you maybe know why can't I get Google Assistant to work? The system and Google search language are both set to English but for some reason whenever I try to trigger the Assistant regular Google Search pops up. I have also mapped the home button for the Assistant but it doesn't recognize it and nothing even happens when I hold it. If it matters I flashed the nano OpenGapps package.

No, it's working if you have Oreo as base. And once enabled, then it works even if you flash stock pie as base (that's what Max says, I haven't tried though).
Just dirty flashed your ROM over last crDroid from coderzs. So far, so good, only Xiaomi parts force close. I know I should try a clean flash, but I was to lazy and didn't want to set up from scratch.
Dt2w works as I mentioned, I'm on Oreo base.
Thanks for the ROM mate, keep up the good work...

How is stability and battery life compared to Pixel Experience ROM? It's worth it to wait for official release?

You need to wipe everything (system, cache and data) and the difference between official and unofficial LineageOS it's my unofficial LineageOS build have SELinux status on permissive but official LineageOS build required SELinux status on enforcing and it's not easy to change SELinux status

SELinux status permissive is for debug the phone when he boot and SELinux status enforcing don't allow access to debug the phone during the boot and it's more secure than SELinux status permissive so LineageOS required SELinux status on enforcing for security

I'll take this post for further updates. I am currently working on a OTA alternative for these unofficial builds. Nothing has been stripped or added or modified and it will never be. It will be as it would be in LineageOS 14.1.
Won't this version be as advanced as advanced LOS??
If not, what would be the future updates be..??

No, no tweaks, no additional commits, no OMS, no microG, no nothing. Pure stock. The reason why I stopped with Advanced LineageOS 14.1 is because of those tweaks and lack of time to mess around with them. The updates will be the one only from LineageOS, nothing more.

Dear Op, first thanks for this initiative. I just wanted to know why starting a new development LOS 16.0 for our device ? There is already an existing thread. Is it a technical issue or a different approach ? I am just curious. I guess the goal is to get Official LOS status, why not joining forces then ? Thanks a lot.

You can say just a new approach i.e. weeklies ...i cant tell abt but this will here always
So you're going to update it with every bugfix from LOS ?
Merging every week, right ?
How can we update ? OTA is working ?
I'm on last beta GLOBAL MIUI 10 ROM, not sure I will have all features like fingerprint or face unlock but LOS is a great ROM.
How are notch and notification icons managed ?
Time on left + only one notification icon + dot ?

The ROM is really smooth, I didn't encounter any problem except the ctsProfile test in Safetynet.
Fortunately, the fix is easy :
Replace the value in ro.build.fingerprint to this in /system/build.prop :
ro.build.fingerprint=xiaomi/tulip/tulip:8.1.0/OPM1.171019.011/V10.2.2.0.OEKMIXM:user/release-keys
Hope it works !

I flashed this ROM a month ago, works fine apart from two problems:
- The camera works fine in photo mode, but when I switch over to video mode and try to start recording, I get "Camera error, Can't connect to the camera". Any ideas?
I replaced the stock camera with snap camera, that works fine and can also record videos
- Duolingo just randomly crashes shortly after startup. Might be a problem with the app itself or the app needs Gapps to run (I don't have any form of Gapps on my phone)

Encryption works and it's forced as FBE. This means you need to format your /data partition if you are unencrypted or encrypted with FDE, right before booting into the ROM.
SafetyNet doesn't pass as of now (Blame Google for that) and I'm not going to include any hack to make it pass
Magisk works but no support for it is officially provided
Reporting Bugs :
DO NOT Report bugs if you installed Xposed or weird magisk modules
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

At the moment Lineage OS 17 is an unofficial rom [not created by the OG team that works on Lineage OS]. It will take a good couple months before we start seeing official devices with Lineage OS 17 from past experience.
---------- Post added at 03:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:21 PM ----------
Thank you for taking the initiative to create a Android 10 rom for this device. It should help streamline the development of other android 10 roms for this device. Although it will still take quite a lot of time and effort to get this rom and future roms up to a stable build like any other new android release. Thanks once again.
thank you so much for supporting Tulip
lineage-17.0-20190915-UNOFFICIAL-tulip pushed right now.

Gapps?
Multi resume feature of android 10 works? (with split screen)
Like this: https://www.xda-developers.com/android-q-splitscreen-multitasking-multi-resume/
But I want to know for games, like 2 games running at the same time, not one paused and the other one running.
Just flashed this rom yesterday, overall pretty good.
Hotspot didn't work for me, but the rest is working fine so far
Oh, since opengaaps still dont provide gaaps for 10, i tried Bitgaaps Q and a got a bootloop.
(Not a big deal, cuz this rom still on alpha stage)
But anyway, Thank you dev for bringing latest android on this device
Still doesn't boot up
Volte fix zip android 10, working in this rom? Try it anyone?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Great work as always!
Nice work!
Peru
Great work
Finally waited for this!
Thanks!!!
So finally..as expected from a Pro Dev..:highfive:
Blame XDA for duplicate post.
Such a magnificent work mate, thank you very very much .
When we were without updates for about 3 months, I supposed you were on full with the Android 11/LineageOS 18, so we are, I will update this afternoon to test it, (I say test it, but my Mi 9T Pro is my daily and actually only device for daily use, but wel xD).
I hope you can provide us as you've being doing for a much long time, honestly, you rock a lot.
Edit after flashing into my Mi 9T Pro: The only important bug I can find is the no detection of my SIM card, which is pretty important xD. A few minor bugs encountered, as the impossibility of connecting to my 5 GHz Wi-Fi network; the crash of the settings screen (activity) when I try to go to the SIM screen; the not correct responsiveness of the tap to sleep, (on the lockscreen it works flawlessly, as it should), but on the normal screen, it requires about 4-5 taps, instead of two, on the status bar, when you have the curtain deployed, it requires the 2 taps as normally; the device is notably hotter than with LOS 17.1, which is causing as well less battery duration; the poweroff and restart processes, are tremendously slow, taking about 30 seconds to shutdown, when with LOS 17.1, were a matter of 2-3 seconds; the root with Magisk 20.4 makes the device to bootloop without getting through to LineageOS, but I suppose that's normal, given the early or initial state of this ROM with Android 11.
Edit 2, after a while (and after this morning a wipe of the 3 partitions more common to wipe, Cache, Dalvik and Data), (yesterday I dirty flashed it over LOS 17.1, which was silly of me, sorry about that): The majority of the "bugs" I weren't such, the ones that keep like real bugs are the tap to sleep, which still requires more than 2 taps and a few (1 or 2 in the process of reinstalling and configuring again everything to the way I had it on LOS 17.1) of the System UI, and a few settings activities which are not accesible right now, the rest were just from the dirty flash, to my joy . Really really smooth, but the new (on AOSP 11) screenshot tool seems strange to me, I still don't know how to delete a screenshot, while with the previous one on LOS 17.1, was really intuitive, but the improvements with LOS 18 are really obvious and such welcomed, so again, thank you a lot mate .
Still, I have to insist, what a nice job, in general, apart from these mentioned bugs, the ROM is smooth, stable and performs really great, thank you very much .
Bests ^^.
Nice! Can't wait to test it out! What does 'WFD' mean by 'Not Working' by the way?
Thank you for great contribution to community.
Which GAPPS should we use?
