Google Camera Port For OnePlus One - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi folks, Does OPO have any Google Camera Port which support Night Sight like in Pixel 3.
If its available, let me know how to enable it.

Buy a new phone, which has the 64-bit chipset

or to rephrase what this guy said, the google camera port, (the one that most people love since the pixel came out), doesnt support 32bit devices, so you'll have to look for more alternatives

Edit: found it! I don't believe it'll get better than this for the ol' opo. No pixel night mode or other stuff that truly requires 64bit and maybe ai cores https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/themes-apps/pixel-2-camera-port-to-oneplus-one-t3732825

I had a functioning gcam before I updated my phone to Android pie lineage os 16. I totally lost track of where to get that app. Could someone please link to the most recent op compatible Googl someone on xda re camera
Someone on xda released a Google camera apk compatible with the 32bit OnePlus one, and I was running it just fine until I upgraded my os to Android pie lineage os. Does anyone have a link to that apk?

Well, the official 4.1 Google Camera can be launched without any bugs. But the HDR+ and manual mode disappeared.

[Q] [REQUEST FOR DEVS] Porting HDR+ on OnePlus ONE

Hi guys, don't know if it's possible, is there any dev that could port HDR+ function of Nexus 6 (which has the same camera, with the addition of OIS) on our OPO???
There are many excellent camera for our device but i think that this could be a great added value for our device.

Only CM can do this because it requires updated lib files

HDR+ depends on full support of the new Android camera HAL (source). It is theoretically possible that we could have our own non-Google Camera version of HDR+ since our camera app apparently has direct control over shutter speed and ISO, but it would have to be written by Cyanogen from scratch since the Camera Next app is closed source. I think we have a better shot at getting full Camera2 support in the coming year than we do getting a custom version of HDR+.

Yeah, i've read that. Also Clear Image is a sort of HDR+ but results aren't as good as the original (they work in slight different way), in the original post i meant the porting of the whole official feature of Nexus 6 ( i don't know what have to be ported, maybe camera driver) to work with OPO. I also think that you're right, opo shot performances will be better with cm12s (they have rewritten camera driver to have camera2 support already in the first release, i read it on reddit...)

Google IO // ANDROID P BETA

Just watching Google IO and on the android p beta screen they had Nokia. Fair to assume that the Nokia 8 would be in the program but I can't seem to get mine to enroll.
You can try it for yourself at https://www.google.com/android/beta
Let me know.
It's only the 7 plus. No treble on 8.
Onoy pixel models i can see on this page
https://www.nokia.com/en_int/phones/developer It`s for TA-1046/1055 (7+ model). Well let`s hope that our model will get it soon too.
No on-screen buttons on the 8 either which given how you navigate in P is going to mean we either end up with reduced usable area on screen or a botched attempt at making it work.
We can use fingerprint gesture
Arent those gestures to replace the onscreen buttons only? If yes, we do not need them.

I cant see it working, swipe up for recent apps, slide up further for app draw, the sensor is way too thin.

I am hoping the buttons remain as an option, i cant stand gesture control.
Thats why I preferred Nokia 8 as my phone over the other flagships like S8/1+1 and so on with infinite displays.
I think it came to N7+ because it's one of Android One mobiles. I don't think the beta program will reach N8 or another none-Android one mobile.
it will not be for now the nokia 8 does not have the project treble
As I know Nokia 8 is member of Android one Family, right ?
Nope
I have Nokia 8 too. Their website says it's not eligible to enroll in beta. It seems that as of now (6.8.2018.) sadly only Google phones can enroll in beta.

TRIPLE BOUNTY THREAD :: S9 Exynos version only google camera development

Bounty Thread :: for google camera s9 (exynos version ) with pixel 2 xl as model and pixel 2017 as processing parameter with both front and back hdr+ and hdr+ enhanced working along with potrait mode.
With superb camera hardware of s9 we could make it a superb camera phone, surely better than all of its rival:fingers-crossed:

Bounty 2 and 3 is very very highly to zero chance of happening as you need samsung proprietary code to do so. Even charles chow cannot get his nexus 5x and 6p gcam port to work on non human faces.

Brother first thing is this nexus 6p and nexus 5x doesnot have dual pixel hardware needed to support for potrait mode like pixel 2. I hope you got your answer. Without hardware support you cannot make a software to execute
I understand that but there are many other devices out there that have dual pixel but cannot work already. Those devices are cheaper and easier to work on than our s9+ regardless if it's exynos or snapdragon, but no one has been able to reverse engineer google's codes.

That is true also. Fingers cross
I'll contribute $20 for the first one as long as zsl is working.
Edit: canceled as of 9/5/18, I'm selling my S9 to get the OP6T
may be looping in gcam developers will help here i guess..
please adress the flash issue, can't take a picture with flash, there's a lag between the shutter and the flash.
I'm in with 20 bucks.
I've instaled the GCam and followed the sugestion of the user drexxie1962:
"Settings:
Model: Pixel 2XL
Config camera HDR+: Nexus 6 Hdr+Auto
HDR+ parameters: Super High
Final jpg quality HDR+: 100%
Developer settings, checked camera.faceboxes"

Huge mistake, had to factory reset the phone. So there's that, beware when using the GCam for exynos as its seats.
Count me in with mine 20$

Why it would be needed ?? All things works on s7 and s8 exynos , only s9 exynos version is not supporting pixel 2 zls and potrait mode on front camera otherwise potrait on rear works ( although laggy). Why do we need image segmentation like thing. Its pretty basic and has not been implemented yet so would be a very difficult and lengthy procedure for a dev.
If a thing is required is usage of dual pixel technology. As this will give power of potrait shootings on non- face subjects

Myself also not understanding why people are not showing interest and also not developer too. As s9 is a very popular device why is this happening. Really frustrating

Guys great news. I was able to run pixel 2 as model and pixel 2016 zls as processing settings. I dont know what triggered it. But results were awesome much better than nexus 6 as model. But now its not running and keeps force closing even after several tries. I ran it on v3.4a of cstark27. Lets hope somebody will figure it out how it got run. Also news for front camera hdr+
Has anyone got any good news??very said that it is taking so much long for our devices. If possible somebody please reach miiniuser123 as he can do miracles for us just like he did for other exynos based samsung devices:fingers-crossed:

Use https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/...efcomg-fix_OP6v0.3_MGC_5.1.018_FINAL_3.4A.apk
And use settings as
Model == pixel 2 or pixel 2 xl
Parameter == default ( most stable )
Select pixel 2016 zls hdr+
Hdr+ support level == selct option 1 in front camera
And select in hexagon dsp == no

Best GCam ports?

Hello, I hope this doesn't breaks the rules. I'm having troubles choosing the right Gcam port for my stock s7 edge exy, since the ones I tried were all laggy and buggy (freezes, force closes, etc.).
I do know there are many versions (where Gcam 5 seems to be faster and more reliable than 6, that indeed has more functions) what can you suggest me as a daily driver? What are the ones I should try?
Currently I'm using xgcam 0.25 by newwb. The colors are splendid, but there is a loooot of noise, and the app crashes very often
Up(?)
i am using Gcam Exynos 5.1.018.177624777 (idans) work best for me on both oreo and pie with Google AR stickers too

Try this telegram link, it will lead you to the
[S7/S8] Google camera support
You will find all latest versions of modded Gcam.
I choose this version because it's the latest stable version by idans in that group, but maybe it's now updated, you have to enter and see.
P.S there is a competitor version of this Gcam and can be installed separately so you can decide which one is best for you.
hey guys
i have tested many gcam for s7 edge exynos and currently using idan 4.7 test 2 gcam. do you know any port better than that?
Gcam port.
LGN2_bsg-test-8.1.apk
Works for Galaxy S7 Edge
Where can I find all these above mentioned gcam APKs?

I have also tried it but not so good as it has very limited options working when installed on Oppo Reno 10X Zoom.
Yes Oppo and OnePlus are of same parent i.e. BBK and may have the same level of hardware but the software development and other teams are different for both Companies. OnePlus is way mature is software development than the Oppo which is clearly visible in Oxygen OS and ColorOS

That is the reason theres a computerized camera or even a GoPro. LOL. BTW A couple of updates later these applications will be inconsequential. As implicit will improve.

There are other mobiles with similar camera setup as Reno 10x, like the Huawei p30 pro or the Sumsung Ultra series, etc.
It would be good if the camera apps of those Huawei p30 pro etc can be ported for Reno 10x. This will give access to best features from different mobiles, especially for Telephoto lens.
