hi..i have note8 sm-n950u...i want to root my phone but the oem is missing. i tried setting time back and update and resetting..didnt work. and i cant think of anything else to do. any help would be greatly appriciated.

With so many individuals, who were either Successful and Unsuccessful in getting this option to appear, this is a real challenge to easily answer.
Even though there's the 7 day waiting period that supposed to be the norm, I feel that Samsung really botched it up.
There's a conversion regarding this on the following thread (that's specific to your device) that may be one of the better places to go and search for an answer and ask if needed.

Hello guys, this is my first post here so I hope this is the right section.
I recently bought a samsung galaxy s8 plus live demo unit at a decent price.
I searched google and found out that usually these live demo units can't be used as phones as they don't have a GSM antena.
But I also found out that some of them can be used as normal phones.
So my question is if I can use it as a normal phone or how can I find out if it's possible to use it?

I read this is the place for noobs, so, I got myself into a FRP LOCK on my Galaxy Tab A6 sm-T280. I use the tablet strictly for flying my drone for surveillance around the rural location where I live. It was having some connectivity problems, so I rooted it to hopefully get enough horsepower to run the DJI Go app. That didn't work so I did a wipe/factory reset, had a problem with the password, and here I am.
I am researching, and gathering the required tools to fix it.
I finally found some guides that are basic enough for me to understand.
I found numerous sites to download the stock rom, but not sure which ones are safe. Suggestions? Also, I am not sure about the country code for the firmware. I am in the USA, and I don't see it listed anywhere. Does it matter? This android stuff is all new and confusing to this old man. I am determined to get this tablet fixed, and would appreciate any and all advice. Thanks, Gary
edit: Will this rom work? : T280XXUOAPL1 using XAA for theCSC? Is xaa the default/generic for U.S.A. ?

I've looked at a dozen different download sites, and this is the only one that shows the United States for the country code. I've built my own computers, worked with windows, and a bit with linux,, but this android stuff is eating on me. But with help from folks like you, I think I can get where I need to be. Just bought a used S7 - SM-G930U what apparently was a sprint phone to use on metropcs. Everything was good but I didnt realize that even when I first put in the sim and added it to my account, every other call does nothing until it times out. After each failed call out, it will (after a short delay it seems) dial out fine. I did another factory reset to no avail. I made 30 calls to my voicemail in a row as a test, and literally every other call failed.
It's being returned but just wondering if this has happened to anyone else with an S7 or any other phone?

I have a galaxy a5 2017. I want to use it as my productivity-essential then I saw the option of pinning note in to AOD. I also see the "Always On Display Alert" which usually allows note to appear on AOD. But after enabling it, there are nothing happen. Still the same, can anyone help me please...:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

Hi there people!
I am a bit nostalgic of the old days of Android, and I installed this beauty on my Redmi Note 7 (see screenshot for reference).
However, I remember that back in 2010-2011, a blue version of Microbes.apk was circulating, instead of the version with multicolored cells.
Does anyone know where I can find the apk? It would be awesome to see those blue suckers float aimlessly on this gorgeous screen.
Thanks in advance guys, if you don't do it for me, do it for the sake of old days when bootloader unlocking did not require an email account and Cyanogenmod was still a thing...

I wish I knew what the Blue version specifically looked like.
I do remember what the original version looked like back in the stone age but, I don't remember what the blue version looked like (though I remember it being mentioned a zillion years ago LOL! ).
