Just got a notification that this update is available for my brand new XZ3. Purchased from Clove and imaged with the US firmware late last week.
Confirmed: Camera works after this update.

Apparently our CyanogenMod maintainer has had a look at the open source archive & says that numerous parts have been updated. I have no original source but am only going by what I read here. By what it says I am definitely looking forward to the update.

i don`t think so,
if the number has 15.4.A.1.12 ,then only it's a new android version.
the 2nd digit after the 1st point change in every new android version
How they can fix all bugs in a single small update, interesting!

sohow it looks? android version?

Yeah I also think that, if 15.3.A.0.27 was going to be released as a bug fix then why it was skipped you know I mean another bug fix has to be released only if 0.27 had bugs, so why a new build was certified before 0.27 was released. And if they wanted to add features like all the Xperia phones e.g. Xperia Themes etc. they have to update to Android 4.3 as all the Xperias with Android 4.3 are only eligible for them.
So why a big update?
I also agree with that second digit change thing for Android version increments.
But I can't understand the above done thing by Sony.

this one proves that sony is looking after our device
and keeping updated
my experience says that we will receive 4.4 direct we may miss 4.3
as you can see many devices has missed 4.2.2 and got 4.3 direct
so when z family hits 4.4 we will be very close to have the same

No, it doesn't as they ignore us and doesn't fix fatal bugs. Don't be so ignorant...
If Mediatek doesn't bring kitkat or 4.3 to our SoC Sony can't do anything about it you know. And I'm sorry to say this but I don't think we will ever see a 4.4 or 4.3 update unfortunately.

It because sony give us xperia c with bootloader can't be unlocked, so we can't do anything.. Only Sony or Mediatek can solve this problem, or maybe they don't care about this device

I've just searched into the conf files of the camera of our beautiful device, and I found the option about the video stabilization.
What do you think guys? Maybe our next update?
See the attachement for more infos.
Have you tried changing any values?

Just wait for the update, it's coming soon actually started rolling out for few varients
If it was to b enabled just via flipping a switch it would have been done long back... Plenty 3rd party offer video Stabalize option... But none works on view 10... Update is coming... Just have patience
recently. new update release for china variant is including gpu turbo and eis for video capturing.

Wow. Fantastic! I'm looking forward to test it when it arrives to Europe.
Update for European version is named B162 and is already present in Firmware Finder, it should start rolling out soon. It should bring EIS for 1080p30 video recording. Also beta ROM with GPU Turbo is already in the works.
