That happened with me too, after I flashed Open Gapps.
I think it's a problem with "WebView Implementation", if you choose to cancel the WebView the ROM comes at first place, it shows "None" under the settings. Not even installing the latest WebView solves the problem. Btw, ROM comes with a very outdated WebView implementation, v66.
Better not to touch WebView until it gets fixed.

Pico works fine, no problems. But still, WebView implementation is v66 and cannot be changed in any way. Installing newer version doesn't change it, doesn't even put the option there. Also Chrome implementation doesn't appear either.
I will try installing Open Gapps AROMA without touching WebView implementation.

Anyone experience problem with adding 2nd google account? Screen stuck at black. Pico OpenGApps 20190209.
OK. Problem with accounts setup comes after deleting webview from system.
Reflashed again and everything works.

Maybe you need change webview, so now you can change that i think. Wait to next build please or go to Telegram group (Sometimes need testers)

Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. You can hide root from playstore with magisk, then clear playstore data - this will make status "certified".
I use this trick with other roms.

When Expanded Desktop on everywhere, screen doesn't come up on or does it very slowly after going to sleep...
Proximity fixes ARE HERE but some audio issues (when calling mostly) might still persist. Needs testing...

Special notice for 20180612 build and onwards:
The 20180612 build includes treble support. That means that, if you use Magisk, you will need to flash a Magisk-cust or magisk-treble patched for it work. Appart from that, as long as you flash normally and stay in the rom or go to other conventional lithium builds, nothing's changed for the user.
If you know a bit of how treble works, you will know that this only (or mainly) means that after flashing and booting this Cardinal build, you can go back to TWRP, wipe everything except for vendor partition, and flash any GSI on top. Gapps and root will have been wiped, so you will have to flash them again as with any new GSI.
For any more information on treble refer to Psy_Man's thread and his links there

Download GApps: Tested with OpenGapps 8.1 unofficial by Nezorflame and with official opengapps.
Feel free to use any other package at your own risk! Only tested with pico and nano.
Flashing Recommendations:
Warning: Some users are experiencing issues with TWRP. If you're encrypted, do NOT flash this ROM unless you're willing to decrypt first. If you're not encrypted, make sure to back up anything important to PC/cloud first as the TWRP issues may make it tricky to back that data up in the future.
Highly recommended: use latest working TWRP, 3.2.1 by raupe/blunden. Find it linked by Blunden in the official TWRP thread.
- Download ROM and GApps
- Download latest firmware (tested with the one provided by Psy_Man, although it should work with miui 8.2.1 or later...).
- Reboot to recovery and backup existing ROM (Just in case!)
- Wipe System, Data, ART cache, Cache, factory reset.
- Flash Firmware, ROM and Gapps.
- Flash root method IF YOU WANT ROOT: attention, only tested with Magisk 14.0, no idea about other magisk versions. SU is reportedly not working for Oreo, at least for Lithium.
- Reboot.

Haven't tested neither yet... Using the Mix only for testing oreo roms for the last weeks no time for some important things sorry...
If by calls you mean just network and call and receive yes sure, it works. If you mean the screen going off sorry, not yet. And I have to add it to bugs, sorry, I forgot: proximity not working yet.

I have managed to fix the proximity sensor. I´ll merge the change into my GitHub tomorrow or commit inside PsYMan one.

First impressions - Very smooth and much closer to Pixel Experience than LOS/AICP/RR. Everything I tried works and no TWRP issues (although I didn't have any before). One MAJOR bug though. In the build info, it says jue and not Thurs

there must be something wrong use mini gapps or gapps which include Google keyboard.
Will be fixed in new build.

Latest Build review
1. As soon as the phone boots up, you will notice that keyboard is not working.. U can't input anything.. You have to install 3rd party keyboard from sd card since u can type and search in Google play store..
2. Apn is missing. So u can't turn on the mobile data.. . U have to set up apn manually..
3. The dialer has been changed.. The calling screen looks UGLY because the status bar color doesn't match with dialing screen.. There is DARK LINE at the top of the calling screen..
4.Battery back is good as before..

Really good update, but can't use it now, no call Recording option found any of A11(R) based ROM, waiting for call recording feature available.

I wanted to try this rom, but got stuck in a bootloop. Is it possible that the rom is not supporting encryption?

Just installed, and found 2 bugs
1. Settings app crashes when I try to open detailed view of connected WiFi.
2. No network on Jio 4G, although it did have network when phone initially booted up (sorry false alarm, takin SIM in and out fixed it)
Update: turns out ROM these bugs are because of stock NikGapps, i'm trying other Gapps.
Update #2: tried all GApps same issue in all, going back to my previous Android 10 ROM
Update #3: Forget everything above, turns out Network issue was a Jio thing, when I found out I re-installed the rom and Nik stock Gapps and everything working fine, idk how that WiFi settings issue was fixed but now everything is working fine.

Great rom. Great battery life with (minimal usage). Encountered a minor issue with OTA screen force closing so had to install update manually. Highly recommended as overall excellent rom and dev.
9 days without a charge, wifi on 24/7, about an hour of screen usage.
