Haptic feedback issue - Google Pixel Questions & Answers

Have noticed for the past 4 days that the fingerprint haptic feedback is not vibrating for the correct fingerprint but vibrating for the wrong one. Gboard vibrations work only when the vibration strength is increased beyond the zero mark, that is does not work on system default vibrations. The back key vibration is also not working. No battery saver mode is active, vibration in sound as well as Accessibility are switched on. Vibration working fine for incoming calls and messages. Anyone facing the same issue and has found any fix??

Wow, I've been having similar issues and it's been driving me crazy. For me it's not that vibration only works for some things and not for others, it's that it stops working for everything periodically, and comes back after a while. Are you on the February Pie update? I wonder that could be the issue.

How Do I Turn Off ALL Vibrations?

Hello everyone,
About 8 months ago I dropped my Pixel. I was pretty upset, had only had it a month, but all it did was put a dent right where the opening for the speaker is. Sound worked, screen wasn't cracked, I was happy.
Well, 8 months have gone by and about 2 days ago I think the mesh that covers the speaker has turned loose from the case. Again, no big deal, it's still there, sound still works, etc. BUT ... now I get this HORRIBLE metal rattle every single time the phone vibrates.
Does anyone know how to turn off ALL vibration for the phone?
I've gone through Settings -> Sounds and turned it off for phone calls and touches. I've gone through some individual apps like Hangouts and Messages and turned it off for those app's notifications. But there are so many times the phone vibrates.
How do I turn off the vibrate for when you unlock with the fingerprint sensor? How do I turn off the vibrate for when you double click the power button to quick launch the camera?
If anybody knows how to disable ALL vibration on the phone I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Chris Williams
Don't think you can disable the fingerprint vibration or the camera vibration unless you're running a custom rom. You could try and run a custom kernel that let's you set the vibration intensity. You could then set it to 0 and the vibration motor won't work anymore.

Vibration options

I see some old posts, but wonder if there is anything new. I just got an S2. Is there any way to have the vibrations for messages occur more than once? Is there a way to have each notification vibration have a longer vibration time, since each vibration is quite weak? Thanks

Low vibration

The notification vibration cannot be felt when the phone is in pocket.even i have set vibration to strong. is there any solution to this?

[HELP] Vibration for calls not working

I'm currently on version 11.0.5.6.KB05DA [Indian Variant]. I've turned on the feature "Vibration for calls" in Settings -> Sounds -> Phone Ringtone but it doesn't seem to work. It doesn't vibrate at all during an incoming call in General Mode. And yeah, its vibration motor is working fine so it's definitely not a hardware issue. It works as excepted in Vibrate Mode. Can anyone confirm if this feature is working in their phones or provide any other help to turn it on?

Vibration after update to android 12

Hi,
After the latest update in vibration mode when I receive a message on every app the vibration is very weak even if the intensity is on the top. It just gives a single very weak vibration (looks like a haptic feedback on the screen than a proper vibration)
Any solution for this
