Do you mean the option in the menu is missing? Check your quick pull down menu to confirm this, is there an icon in that menu?
What icon appears next to your signal strength? Does it say Vo))?

Well it means your phone has not been updated correctly. Oreo for S7 stock has wi fi calling switched on automatically if your network supports it.
You can download the stock firmware yourself then flash via Odin to fix the issue but please check you are looking in the right settings first.

Ok yes, i can see Wi Fi calling (which is the last option) is missing. If the option is missing it means the firmware you have does not support it. So like i said i would flash unbranded firmware so all options are available.

No, flashing stock firmware via Odin does not require Root so warranty will still be valid. Also download and install Samsung Smart Switch to check there is an update to the current firmware on your phone.

[ODIN] Stock Nougat Firmware [SM-G935T] S7 Edge
Instuctions provided by jrkruse (original post)
1. You need to be on Verizon Beta Nougat 2
2. In developer options turn on OEM unlock
3. Reboot to download mode
4. Load the files you downloaded in the corresponding slots in odin BL,AP CP, CSC the files are labeled this way
you dont use the G935TUVU4BQB1_Boot_Recovery_Image.tar.md5 until later
5. Install with odin the phone will reboot to recovery to finish the csc install
6. If the csc install in recovery fails reboot to bootloader in stock recovery
7. In odin reflash the CSC file in the CSC slot in odin. The phone will reboot to recovery again and install the csc files
8. Once the phone is done installing and wiping in recovery try and catch the phone as it reboots and reboot back to
download mode (PWR+Home+Vol Down )
9. Use odin Install G935TUVU4BQB1_Boot_Recovery_Image.tar.md5 in the AP slot
10. Let phone reboot and go through setup
11. During Setup you may have trouble typing info in the setup boxes the keyboard has some bugs in setup. I recommend skipping
adding any accounts and do it after your through setup. Or use the alternative method to find your google account
12. Once through setup download 4G LTE Switch and use to Change Network to LTE/CDMA auto (PRL)
13. I recommend downloading Package Disabler Pro (It Works now) and disable all Tmobile Apps
I found samsung pay wasnt working I found that the tmb bootloaders and persist.img needed to also be flashed I made a new odin flashable package and install instructions. All seems to work now except of course volte and wifi calling.
Explanation why you need to be on nougat beta 2
Download:
TMOBILE_NOUGAT_VZW.ZIP
ODIN v3.12.3.zip
Possible Issues and solutions :
Q: after flashing the bootloaders and persist.img, it broke all data and calls and texts again.
A: they need to be all flashed at same time. Maybe Wipe data and it might work
Q: The Google "email or phone" text input box still only accepts one letter and any extra letters overwrite the previous letter typed.
A: The samsung keyboard will work fine if you just goto settings on the keyboard to language and types and change to US english.
Q: So the question is..... this worth flashing or wait for vzw?
A: Other than no volte this definitely the best running Rom so far. It is much better than beta
Q: 13. I recommend downloading Package Disabler Pro (It Works now) and disable all Tmobile Apps
Care to share your list?
A: List of Tmo apps to disable
Q: Except MMS isn't working, for me anyways. VoLTE isn`t working.
A: I got volte working and video calling maybe this will help mms for you
Download App shortcut maker from playstore
Select all activities find IMS Settings and create shortcut
Open the ims settings from the created shortcut
Choose Ims service switch
Click on MMTEL switch
Click on RCS switch
Under MMTEL section I enabled all the options
Q: Cant get this thing to flash CSC...just keep getting the dm-verity error 0x02.
A: 1:Flash all 4 files in zip.
2:let reboot and see if you get dm verity error.
3:if you get the error than reboot to bootloader and reflash all 4 again.
4:after it reboots again it will say error.
5:reboot to bootloader and flash the csc again.
Q: in 4g lte switch, i dont see the option for lte/cdma auto. could this stuff be because csc didnt flash correctly?
A: if you have the verizon data icons you know the 4g lte then it flashed correctly. If you see data icons that ate not verizon then it didnt flash correctly.
When every one is starting over are you flashing a pit file when going pack to ph1. If not you need too.
P.S. All credits goes to jrkruze. :good:

Look at you apn settings and just copy it. I didn't mention about to install nougat beta, I mentioned that it was installed successfully on nougat beta and that you must be on latest bootloader.

The T-Mo one you posted. Odin with ap,bl,cp and csc selected.
After toying with tons of things on the Tmo firmware, I tried booting into Odin, and flashing the Verizon pi3 CSC. That gave me a bootloop. I then tried reflashing the entire Tmo Nougat with Odin, but replacing the CSC again with Verizons, same bootloop. So now my phone is being flashed back to the trusty U MM.
I can only assume now that running the Tmo firmware on VZW will require root to make CSC edits. But Verizon will release our own Nougat before we get root.
Now I guess it's just a race between Verizon releasing 7.0, and the G935U getting it.
$50 on Verizon.
Edit: After flashing the G935U firmware again, after the first boot I was greeted with a message saying "your device must update to use new features from your SIM card." And I booted to a weird all blue screen with a big SIM card on it. I've never seen anything like that. I'm not sure if the Tmo firmware messed with stuff, so I'm going to fully flash the G935V firmware, THEN reflash the G935U firmware, just in case the G935T firmware messed something up.
they also did something to disable all package disabler apps even if you go back to MM they dont work. They screwed us goood on this
so @spiderkr were you able to get it working or just going off of other reports?

I am getting my Sony "U.S" Version just because of its warranty, is there a way i can Enable the fingerprint. Please help
currently all you could do is flash the International firmware. I haven't really looked into anything though personally. I'm not sure how they disabled it, maybe changing a 0 to 1 somewhere but I doubt it.

It doesn't have US warranty, probably you have to send it back to UK. Personally I don't care about warranties, never had to use for any of my many phones until now partly because don't keep the phone that long. The other advantage buying from Amazon US is ease of return in case you don't like the phone. If you played with it before and 100% sure you like the phone and will definitely keeping it, then yeah better to buy from clove and save the extra $150 or change.

I used the newflasher tool in the below link. Personally this is my first Xperia device in a long time and haven't used the Xperia flashing tools before.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3619426
1. Make sure you have the right drivers installed. I installed Xperia companion tool since someone mentioned that should install all the drivers. I also installed the flash tool and fastboot drivers from Xperia flash tool since I had issues putting my phone in flash mode. If you are using Windows 10 you have disable verify driver signing in boot before installing the flash tool drivers.
2. Download the firmware of your choice, I chose CE1 (Central Europe) firmware over other Asian firmware.
3. Then follow the instructions in the thread to flash.
Main issue I had was putting my phone in flash mode. But apparently flash mode doesn't have any screen like recovery etc. You just have to turn off your phone then while holding the volume button down connect your phone via USB. That should put in flash mode even though you don't get any screen to say it's in flash mode.
Once I put in flash mode everything went fine by following instructions in the thread.
Thanks,
So when you downloaded the files with XperiFirm and used NewFlasher did you delete any of the files or just drop newflasher into the created directory and flashed everything.

Just dropped all newflasher files into the created firmware directory and just ran the newflasher application from that directory. It flashed everything in there.
I know the thread says if you want you can remove specific things from the firmware directory if you don't want to flash certain things. But I didn't see any reason to do that and I never care about wiping my device since all my info is backed up in the cloud and takes around 30 minutes to restore and be up and running again. Just to be safe I flashed everything so that it doesn't screw up anything. I haven't used the Xperia flash tools before so kept it simple.

Download the updated firmware version you want and flash it using odin which is for flashing Samsung phones. Make a note of your APN first before you do the update because you might have to enter that information yourself in Settings>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names (APN)..
In order to flash firmware using odin on a Windows PC you need to put the phone in Download mode by first turning the phone off and then holding the volume down button, the home button and the power button all at the SAME TIME and when the screen turns on let go and press the volume up button to continue and then in odin select AP slot and select your .tar.md5 firmware update you downloaded and wait for odin to finish scanning it after it's done scanning press start and wait until it's done and the phone reboots..
Before you even do any of this turn on developer options by going to Settings>About phone and tapping on the words "build number" about 7 to 10 times rapidly after it turns on press the back button and you'll see developer options on the list now go in there and turn on OEM unlock.. If you DON'T do this you can end up locked out of the phone after the update so do this before you do anything and I'm not kidding you can end up locked out of your own phone!! After the phone is updated put your APN information back in if you have to and you should also have the option to enable or disable WiFi calling and other stuff.
Wow .. I don't understand any of this .. lol you think I could get it done by someone ?

If you are in the USA you're either going to have to ask T-Mobile if they can do it for you or I do, do that type of stuff but unfortunately that's going to require you sending the phone.. But it's really not as hard as it seems it's actually really easy to do it just seems hard because of the amount of steps involved in it. I'm currently at work in Fort Benning in the Military and I will be home later tonight and I can try to walk you through it if you want but I suggest you download the firmware update now because it's about 2.5GB and if you have a slow connection and no WiFi it's going to take awhile to finish... I'll send a link for you so you can download it because you can't do it without it.. What is the firmware version you are currently on? Tap settings>About phone and tell me what it says under "Baseband version"..

Looks like you're already on the latest version so you can't update any further because you're on the very last update, and you should be able to to toggle WiFi calling on and off if you want.. If you're not able to do certain things it's probably because Verizon and T-Mobile use different bands and the phone is using bands set for Verizon and not T-Mobile... You probably should just go to T-Mobile and ask them to either see if they can set the the APN the right way or see why it's not doing what you want.
1) You're not going to flash the t-mobile firmware to this phone. That's not possible.
2) The n920v is bootloader locked. Flipping the OEM Unlock option is not going to change that. It's just there for looks.
3) You also won't get wifi/video calling on t-mobile using the verizon-only phone.
The only things you'll be able to get working with using t-mobile on the n920v is 2/3/4g and bands 2/4 of LTE.

I imagine you need to change your phone CSC's. To do that you need a PC with Windows and an internet connection (you need Latest Odin3 and Samsung USB Drivers), your Galaxy A8 with its USB-C to USB cable, latest official firmware for your model and csc and the Factory Firmware tar for your phone and with correct bootloader rev (to know what's your current bl rev download "Phone Info ☆Samsung☆" app from Play Store and check your Bootloader version inside it, the bootloader rev is after the phone model number and fw country/type; ex. A530FXXU3):
- A530F Rev 1
- A530F Rev 2
- A530F Rev 3
- A730F Rev 1
- A730F Rev 2
- A730F Rev 3
If you downloaded and installed all the needed, do a backup of all your data and files, then follow those steps:
1. Boot your phone in Download mode
2. Open Odin3 as Administator, go in "Options" tab and enable Auto Reboot and Re-Partition, then click on the AP button and select the COMBINATION tar file you downloaded previously
3. Connect your phone to your pc and click the Start button in Odin3, flash should start
4. You phone now should boot in Factory Firmware. Select IMEI option at the bottom of the screen to bring up the dial pad, then dial *#243203855#
5. Select your new CSC code (in your case INS) and wait for it to install and reboot
6. Wait for phone to reboot and do a Factory Reset in Settings app
7. Reboot to Download mode again and setup Odin3 like before
8. You now need to flash your official firmware, so put all the tars from the firmware you downloaded on their section (AP inside AP, BL inside BL, CP inside CP and CSC inside CSC)
9. Connect back your phone in your pc and click Start in Odin3
Your phone should now be back to the Stock Firmware and with the correct CSC set, to check it go inside Settings>About phone>Software info>Service provider SW ver. and check if the first CSC sales code matches the one you choosen previously.
Greetings!

You can try to flash A530F AP, BL, CP tars with A730F INS CSC tar. If it doesn't works you unfortunately need to root your device to install the correct csc in system (the guide I explained before is for non-rooted devices)

It's like one month we are behind it actually lol, but since recently you can finally root safely your device with flashing my TWRP 3.2.3+Magisk v17.1. Would suggest to flash my custom kernel also (MCK), but I wanna suggest to wait till' next version comes out since there will be a lot of under-the-hood improvements over the current version (v1.2)
Updates
Hi,
Any luck regarding this?

As I said previously, you need to set the correct CSC sales code in your device in order to get the features you need for your country/SIM. To do that you can follow the guide I wrote above or, if you're rooted, you just can edit the "/efs/imei/mps_code.dat" file and replace the current CSC with the one you prefer.
Just to say I on honk Kong but I modified a USA s8 csc and I have had voltie working.

My mod would only work on t.mobile USA.
I not going to try to teach people how to mod or hack.
If not done right it will brick you.

I have official Israel Stock rom android 8.0, SM-G930F
PDA: G930FXXU3ERL8
CSC: G930FOJK3ERL2
So the problem is that i don't have any option to turn on Wifi calling or VoLTE from any phone setting/dial settings.
I checked with my sim card company if they provide this services and they do provide.
I re flashed my phone using Odin but its still did not changed anything.
Here is the phone settings and dial settings:

You are using 012 mobile? Yes?
That is a virtual network which uses Orange/Partner (PTR)Network, flash PTR firmware for wifi calling to work.
The CSC part of the firmware tells your phone what services are supported on the network you are connecting to and will install those option when flashed.
You can also stay on the current firmware but flash a CSC zip file where you can change the CSC code on the phone for the network you want in your case PTR.

Yes because 012 mobile is using PTR network, an unbranded firmware will contain lots of CSC codes for your region/country and automatically choose the right one when it connects to a network. If the network supports wifi calling it will then have the option on your phone to enable it.
Like i said, the other option is to keep the firmware you have but manually flash a CSC zip file to change the region/country code manually.
