[FACE UNLOCK] for Stock Zen UI Oreo (8.0)

As always- I don't care what happens with your device, it burns, vaporizes, melts, freezes becomes a nuclear gun or whatever due to this guide. I'm not responsible at all. It would be fun to watch your phone get bricked though..
What this guide will tell you?
It will tell you how to get face unlock on your stock rom, just in case you don't want to use any custom rom and then also need the feature.
WHAT DO I NEED?
> ROOTED stock firmware.
> Magisk framework installed and active.
> Xposed framework installed and active.
> Your Zenfone 3
WHAT TO DO ?
> Root your phone (obviously)
> Install the magisk framework via twrp.
> Install xposed framework too (Either use the xposed zip directly or install xposed systemlessly via the magisk module).
> Once you have both running. Download, install and activate the following modules:
*GOOGLE FACE UNLOCK module--From magisk
*INSTANT FACE UNLOCK---From xposed-- This is not mandatory but it removes the need to swipe to get past lock screen
> reboot your system once to activate all modules.
> To set up face unlock navigate to settings>security>smart lock>trusted face and add your face in it.
and done..
special thanks to @lcnghulam for telling me about these modules.
Screenshots attached.
+++++++++++ after recent updates from Asus, face unlock has stopped working as mentioned by users. Idk what's the reason, maybe the Ota update has removed or modified any important stuff. I'll try to find some way to get it to work, might take time.++++++++
"A click on thanks :good: is always appreciated"
Can you give me the link of xposed framework so that i can install it

You can install the framework from Magisk manager itself.
For apk Google "xposed for magisk", find the xda page for it and install the apk from it.
Works flawlessly. Only a little slow compared to my one plus 5t, but I know why

Custom roms have inbuilt face unlock.
Just flash nano gapps or higher.

Reboot the phone once, make sure all modules are enabled.
Try removing all unlock methods like fingerprint and add them back. Then add new face.

I always used open gapps, these are recommended by the dev and most stable.
face unlock works for me by installing Google Face Unlock v.1.1 by DennySPb, Mi 5 Arsenal, RIShukhov. for android 8.1 but working fine on the latest oreo stock 8.0.

[GUIDE] Alternative to Moto Gestures on A1

UPDATE 05/10 - Tested on Android One 8.1 - September security patch
This guy on Reddit (posted this tutorial and works well:
A1 - Enabling OneNav & AttentiveDisplay (requires Magisk/build.prop changes)
Works on A1 8.1 Sept security patch
<warning> I don't know the impact of changing this build.prop (whether it messes up OTAs or other stuff)
ro.mot.android_one=true
Step 1) Need some way to modify build.prop.
the best/easiest way (with ablility to maintain OTA/safetynet through some workaround)
install magisk (systemless)
install magiskhide props (https://forum.xda-developers.com/app...onfig-t3789228)
safetynet should still pass
Step 2) Use your method from (1) to change this build.prop. I used MagiskHideProps to delete it entirely
ro.mot.android_one
Step 3) reboot, go into Moto app, you can enable/disable OneNav AND Attentive Display
you can enable, and disable, and re-enable without any issues
I don't know if other features (disabled on A1, enabled on non-A1) are available (Moto Voice, Moto Access etc)

These features could have been added by Nokia mobile itself if they wanted to. But they decided to keep it only for China, going with "Pure stock" Android for the rest of the markets. You can say that it might reduce the speed of the updates, but China variants have been getting updates at almost the same speed as the global variants. It would have been great if they had gone with something like OOS.

Looks like that module edited your build.prop
You can bypass it. Extract the zip. Remove the device check part in install_module function inside the config.sh file. Rezip it and flash again

EDIT: My bad. I kept flashing the original zip and not extracted zip. All good now.

[ROOT] Enable Fluid Navigation Gestures in any rom in less than 2 minutes

Edit: The module I shared here is old. Download updated FullScreen Immersive mode gesture module from the magisk app directly.
I remember a few years ago people loved Fluid Navigation Gestures when it came out. The liquid animations on the sides and bottom of the provided people a smooth experience. Good times ended when Google messed with the overscan setting in Android 11 which prevented Fluid Navigation Gestures to display over stock Android back and recent gesture.
Good News: You can use it again with a simple trick
Bad News: You'll need root with magisk and a magisk module
• Go to magisk manager and download Fullscreen/Immersive gestures magisk module by DanGLES3 [Thank you Dev] (Added it on this post but you can download it from modules section on magisk manager).
• Start flashing the module on magisk.
It'll start asking a few questions and you will have to answer them using the volume up/down button. The first four questions aren't necessary for this tutorial but you will have to go through them.
• 1st question (Fullscreen or Immersive) - choose whatever you like
2nd Q (Hide pill and keep the keyboard height) - choose whatever you like
3rd Q(About reducing keyboard bar) - choose whatever u like
4th Q(Sensitivity) - doesn't matter
5th and important one is about Disabling back gestures. Select Volume up for YES
• Now magisk will ask you to reboot so reboot
• Download Fluid Navigation Gesture app from Play Store or the bottom of this post
Play Link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fb.fluid
• Install and open it. Click Enable and you will have to give it accessibility and draw over other apps permission access. Now go to options (bottom right), give is write secure settings permission using either root or adb.
• Done. Now customize as you like inside the app.

Is there a way with root in Android 11 that I can reduce the size of the screen? You used to be able to do it with the overscan command but they took that out of 11.
Is this still possible to do? I have a stock Pixel 5 that I'm considering putting a custom ROM on. Being able to hide the nav bar and use FluidNG would be a huge selling point.

Thanks A Lot, this one finally helped me disable my proximity sensor and keep my screen on while calling.
The download link to the hook definitions seem expired, so if anyone's wondering how to get those you can simply search for the word wakelock or proximity in the "Manage Hook Definitions" page of the pro app and download it from there.
And in the last step after going to the normal app you need to show all the apps and select all the apps from the list, otherwise for some reason it wasn't working for me by only disabling it for the caller app.
