Hello,
I got a couple of problems from my Mate 8 but lets begin with the first one ^^
Bevore a few hours i decided to try to install a custom rom, wiped everything and installed the img.... but the installation failed
(I did no backup because of missing storage)
And because I am as stupid as I am, I decided to flash the original recovery from Huawei.
yeah... the eRecovery and the "dload folder Method" didn't work.
The I tried to install twrp back again...
And now I cant boot in my recovery.... i tried so many twrp images. (Ofcourse the official ones from twrp & the images from the Mate 8 ^^)
Which is the right one?
(Btw im still trying to install a custom rom
Plz help me
Thanks in advance
Never Mind. I got it.

Good evening!
Just wanted to update my girlfriends mi4i from an Kitkat Ferrari rom to a newer one. I had an older twrp on the phone, the one that came with the toolkit for mi4i. For the newer rom i should have at least twrp 2.8.7.. . I found a ferrari twrp 2.8.7 and flashed it per flashify. All went fine. Rebootet all worked. So i wanted to install new rom. In recovery i did n factory reset, which didnt finish. I had to abort it after 15min.
Since then, device wont boot beyond bootscreen. When i try to boot into reovery, i just enter fastbootscreen.
I thought, ok t least fastboot. But when i try to flash any recover through the toolkit, it seems lime all is going well (no errors) but it does not upload the file.. It says in 1,4seconds.. File was sent.. Which is definately wrong 30 mb in 1,4seconds.
Is there anything left i can do?
No working recovery and no working fastboot does sound fuctup?
Thanks for reading
Flash MIUI via Fastboot, it should be fine.
BTW You can never install MIUI via Custom Recovery.
Just to finish. Was able to do a fastboot rom flash.
Worked. Solved
Is it possible to instal the compatible cwm recovery at huawei P8max and how? I tried different versions using FlashFire and one apk with loader.zip, but without success. After rebooting recovery, i got some strange rescue screen with 2 faults: 11. recovery and 2: boot (update your system).
Unlocked Bootloader?
Why not use the working TWRP that existing?
same problem after b210 from dload on sd card it seems emui 4 does not support thre local cwm
@Hirs
I wrote already that i have a lot of problems with "working TWRP". When i flashed it the first time, it was ok, but later, rebooting sytem was not working, every time i was reverted to twrp screen. I flashed the stock recovery, then twrp again, the same situation.

Thats normal that you cant reboot to system sometimes with a installed TWRP, then you flash stock back and reboot.
You can easily flash TWRP do the things you want and then reboot to bootloader flash stock and use the phone.
I dont think there is a CWM especially for the P8Max, but you can try the P8 one.
Hi,
This is a new Mi4w Global and I got tired of waiting to Marshmallow to come OTA so decided to try CM13 and seem to have bricked it. Please help!
I flashed latest TWRP (also tried CyanogenMod recovery), then I did the factory reset, wipe cache, flashed the CM13 ROM but it won't boot. Always flashes the Mi logo and then straight into Fastboot. I can still access recovery by holding volume up and power, but no amount of flashing the ROM seems to work. I've tried latest Stable and Nightly CyanogenMod ROMs.
Did I miss a step? One thing I remember doing which might have been the problem is while I still had the original Xiaomi recovery I opted to boot onto System 2 or whatever. I think I flashed recovery straight afterwards. I wonder if that is the cause?
Anyway, please help me! Many thanks if you can help me get my phone working again.
Update: In case this helps anyone else, I did manage to find an original Mi4 recovery so I flashed it and the I also flashed the official MIUI developer build of Marshmallow. Now my phone is unbricked. I would still like to figure out how to root it and install CM13 sometime, but at least I have a working phone for now.
It's simple, you selected system 2 before installing cm13, and two installed rom in system 1. Be on system 1 and try again.

OK thanks. What is system 2 then, is that the "sdcard" partition? I had looked in both TWRP and Cyan recovery for an option to change the boot partition but couldn't find it.
Hello, today while trying to get back to stock i wierdly bircked my honor 8
I flashed the stock recovery and stock boot img
Then i flashed a rollback package and a marshmallow package which i used for this same thing before.
Now the phone didnt start for a solid 30 minutes and ive decided to reflash the rollback and marshmallow package, but after i flashed the rollback got stuck at the boot logo, not even the stock bootanimation showing up.
The phone doesnt reboot neither in any of the recoveries nor in bootloader.
Any help would be appreciated.
Stephen
Okay so after all of this i managed to reboot to bootloader and get my hands on one of my previous unlock codes. So now ive got an unlocked bootoader, but after fashing twrp the phone is stuck at the 'your device is booting now' when im trying to get in it
I thing you have flashed the wrong TWRP, check for the latest version or at least the one for your build
uh well, hello there again.
i've tried to do the dload method which failed(i used lots of versions tho none worked)
and i've tried flashing marshmallow twrp, which at the moment, well, it cannot mount anything. no partition can get mounted.
Does any of you guys have an idea of what i could try?
thanks in advance
Does it mean that you have access to TWRP ? if TWRP cannot mount a partition, go into mount section, tick system, data, boot, vendor and then reboot to TWRP again. Then try your previous operation. If it cannot mount data, go into wipe, advanced wipe, and click on format data, then restart TWRP and try again
seems like i somehow broke the partition table, cause it shows every storage as 0 mb and mounting isn't available, cant tick the option. Looks like i will have to find some service center to repair it by my own cost, by the end of the month. Though im giving it around the 25th so i got some more time till then, so maybe i find some solution to this problem.
Hey, so I managed to make the phone work again.
I have flashed boot cust recovery recovery2 and system from the italian marshmallow firmware, then I flashed that same firmware using dload method(tho it failed at 99%)

You tried only once? Maybe you should now try to flash TWRP recovery and restore a backup made by TWRP. I can provide you one but for FRD-L09, not another. Another method would be to flash the rollback package and then retry flashing an EMUI 4.X ROM (dload method for both), hope you'll figure it out
I think i expressed myself wrong.
That was how i got the phone to work.
Oh lol I misunderstood because of the "it failed at 99%" and I thought the phone wasn't rebooting , no matter I'm glad you succeeded
Hi. I have unlocked Realme 5 pro eu version without os. Had RMX1971EX_11_A.17. I've got OrangeFox R11.0 recovery through fastboot mode and platform tools (first bablus twrp + vbmeta, then somehow was able to go to orangefox + vbmeta, got errors when tried to go straight to orangefox). It is possible to install rom through recovery or with pc but I need help with next steps to get working ROM, idk which one should I install. Tried to install some of the custom and stock but nothing worked. Any help appraciated.
I tried almost everything and was stuck in recovery loop. Last try: converted ozip to zip as in this guide https://www.droidwin.com/extract-ozip-realme-stock-firmware/ Zip flashed through OrangeFox, and I needed to delete all folders inside /data except media folder and it worked. Maybe it will be helpful for someone.
(Did everything once again as it worked and I wanted to be sure that everything is clean and... I got errors once again (no os, loops) but after few shots got it and it's working now... lmao never again messing with this phone.)
