Okay so I basically tried to install an older version of TWRP as the newest one didn't work. My phone got stuck on the galaxy s8+ screen. I held down the power button and volume down button. It turned off but now won't turn on whatsoever. I have tried every solution like holding down the bixby, power and volume up/down buttons etc and nothing is working. What should I do?

I recently rooted my new Gooapple V5-3g. Everything was going fine and I was starting to download apps from Google Play, add contacts, etc. I was listening to the fm radio today and turned the volume down, then tried to turn it back up. It would not respond when I used the volume + button, so I tried to reboot. I powered down, then held the power button to power back up. Although I did not hold the volume + button while I was pressing the power button, it went straight into Recovery mode. Every time I reboot, it goes straight back to Recovery. If I power off, then back on again, straight to Recovery mode. I accidentally went into factory mode (trying every combination of buttons to override my 'stuck' volume + button) and did a Key Test...VlmUp was the only key that failed.
Would this be most likely to indicate a hardware problem? Or is there something that I could have done to cause this (by rooting)? And does anyone have the slightest clue if there is something I could do to fix it?
I bought the phone from Android-sale about a month ago. The only problem I noticed when I first started playing with it was that auto-rotate would not work in text-mode (tried setting it every-which-way in both settings and the android pull-down menu, to no avail. It works in everything else. Other than that, the volume button/Recovery mode is my first issue.
Any and all advise is greatly appreciated!
stucked in factory mode
I am stucked in this "Factory Mode" with these options available...
full test
item test
test report
clear flash
version
reboot
Please advise me what to do..... is it bricked......? i felt so helpless.
see picture. It doesn't recognise any rom at all.
Fastboot is disabled.
So I have two sensations, one started acting up with the volume button. One day I noticed the volume up button no longer respond, went to bootloader via volume down+power. Volume up still doesnt's work, volume down moves the cursor "up" and power still work in bootloader.
Some days later, I can't get into bootloader anymore, volume down and power just normal boots, volume up and power normal boots as well. At this point, to get into bootloader I have to use 4ext app. So i get into bootloader, volume up still doesnt work, volume down still move cursor up, and now power button doesn't work!! SO i have to take out the battery to turn off the phone (in bootloader). In normal android, power button still works, just not volume up.
So I took apart both phones and swapped the volume button from each one. Suddenly I can use the volume again on both phones, can boot into bootloader OK.
Like a week later, the problem started happening again to the other phone with the "bad" volume button (including the power button, which I did not switch)
First phone is running venom 2.00, second phone is running ARHD 7.3
Anyone has ANY idea what's going on?
On my SM-P900 I am not able to boot into recovery mode. I'm pretty sure I have at least a couple of times but now it will no longer work. I believe the key combination is "Volume Up" + "Home" + "Power" until the splash screen is visible then let go of the "Power" button. Am I correct? Has anybody else seen this problem with the SM-P900?
Thanks.
Hmmm, I don´t know on your device, but both on my P905 and on my S4 after last firmware update, I noticed that if you continue pressing the three keys the device boots normally.
to boot in recovery, you should release the keys once you see a small blue writing (never investigated what it says) on the top left of the screen (if I well remember the position).
Give it a try and let me know if it works for you too.
@aviator1
Thanks for the tip. I tried your suggestion until my fingers bled without luck. No matter what I tried I never saw any text (blue or otherwise), just the flash screen.
I don't know about the home key, from a complete shut down I use the volume up key. I'll hold volume up first and then hold power until the very instant that the screen gets power and then I'll release power button while still holding volume up.

Thanks for the tip but I couldn't get this to work either
The problem started when I was on my bootloader that simply said "Downloading Do Not Turn Off Target" and I held the power button down to reboot since I didn't see any other way to cancel that screen. From then on, my phone kept restarting over and over again. Basically, it shows the "Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge" logo then turns off and shows a blank screen for two seconds then turns on again repeatedly. If I hold the power button, volume up and home button or just volume up and home button, the phone states "Installing system update" on the screen and goes to the menu that allows me to reboot the phone, clear cache, shut down, factory reset and so on. I tried factory resetting and clearing cache over and over again with no luck. I tried to install custom firmware by holding volume down, power button and home button and going into the bootloader and using odin but still no luck. Every guide suggested that the phone has a stuck power button but the tap methods don't work and I'd like to confirm that's the problem before I take my phone apart to replace that power button.
The thing that confuses me is that when I go into the menu with the options for rebooting, clearing cache, etc. the power button works fine. Whenever I want to shut down the phone, I can click the volume up and select the "Shut Down" option and then clicking the power button to confirm and it does shut off the phone. How would the power button be the issue if it works fine afterwards?
So would the conclusion be to replace the power button flex or is it a software issue? Or is my phone bricked after having it for three months?
(The problem's lasted for two days now)
Sorry, wrong thread.

Yea, stock firmware should do it. If you can get into recovery it's definitely not your power button.
Hello,
last evening my s10e had an issue at the power button/fingerprint scanner, it doesnt work anymore! for me now it's impossible to power on the phone, i feel a classical click when i push the button, but the phone doesn't start, is there a way to power on it without this button?
i've tried to connect the phone and force the start with adb, but it remais off.
Help me please, i am in greece for holidays and i can't go in a samsung point
Are you tries restarting phone with button combo?
Using a particular combination of buttons, you can force your Galaxy S10, S10 plus, and the S10e to restart the system. Here’s how to do this.
Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button simultaneously until the device screen turns off.
May need to press and hold for more than 7 seconds
It will shut down and restart automatically
If the device screen stays black and you’re unable to see if it has turned off, keep holding down the Power and Volume Down buttons until you feel a vibration.

Thank you for your answer! Unfortunately i tried to force restart with this combination but nothing has happened... it's very weird, tomorrow i will return at home and i will go in a samsung point for the check up. I will write update as soon as i will understand what happened :/
After few days the assistance told me that the cause of the problem was water (wasnt it waterproof?) so i have to change power and volume buttons. Very disappointed
Must still be at the store
same thing
I was looking for some infor. My powerbutton stopped working. The fingerprint sensor works but not the power button. I wanted to take a few shots underwater. Maybe just 10 inches underwater and this happend. Looks like its not so waterproofed. I got lucky that the device was on. It looks like if it get off there is no way to turn it on.
