Hii Guys
I found a way to get Camera2api and GCAM Working.
It requires a little change in build.prop.
You have to add this line in build.prop and reboot.
Code:
persist.vendor.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
Now you have enabled Camera2api.
I'm not sure it'll work on Stock Rom

Its not possible for Zenfone Max m2 as the bootloader bug is not there in the phone.

The cam2api is by default on.

front cam not working.(i have installed pixel 2 camera for selfies.
No nightsight on front cam.

After testing around 15 portes camera i found in the net that the moto camera is the best with all working future.
Second camera is the from OnePlus 2 but the flashlight is not working.

I really like the camera from the Adobe Lightroom app. It even allows you to shoot pics in DNG format.
I am glad this works for the stock Miui rom too.
U can use also "Lumio" cam. It can make videos with playing music from your smartphone.
And "open camera". It has many settings, but I think the best manual settings are in OnePlus camera.
I tried the Moto camera on viper os and it crashes every time I start recording video

There are several gcam mods for the SD version here: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/
My favourites are the mods by Arnova8G2 (version 6), and by Cstark27. But much depends on your camera sensor and the settings you make on the app (it is usually best to stick with the default settings).

Enabling hdr+ doesn't work. The camera viewfinder freezes. Also portrait mode doesn't work.

Enable portrait mode in settings and restart the app...and then select portrait mode in view finder.
And just close and restart after you select the device in settings.

I'm back, this time I brought Android 7.1.2 MIUI9, porting from Xiaomi 5x, Into many aspects of improvement and repair, 7.1.2 MIUI9 finally reached the standard of daily use
Now it is stable
1. Camera 13MP+5MP video flashlight normal
2. Dual-card dual 4G normal VOLTE Bluetooth data is normal
3. All kinds of sensors Breathing lights Fingerprint NFC FM radio is normal
4. MIUI features normal
