How do I install Google Play Store on Android 8.1.0?

Hello,
I have the Pico G2 4ks headset and it's great for my purposes (demostrations & tradeshows in kiosk mode for my apps) but they don't install the Google Store on it. I'd like to figure out how to do it. I installed the components that I could find, but Play Store just crashes on opening.
Order of installation
From this article on Android Police (written for the Fire Tablet, but the concept should be similar) it sounds like I need to install 4 apks in this specific order:
Google Account Manager
Google Services Manager
Google Play Services
Google Play Store
Headset info
The G2 4KS headset runs Android 8.1.0
I don't have much experience with this so I tried to find APK's which covered Android 8.1.0. The account manager was the only one that looked old, but worked required for the Fire Tablet article.
APK's installed
1) Google Account Manager
• Source: APK Mirror
• Version: Google Account Manager 7.1.2 (Android 6.0+)
• Min: Android 6.0 (Marshmallow, API 23)
• Target: Android 6.0 (Marshmallow, API 23)
• nodpi
2) Google Services Framework
• Source: APK Mirror
• Version: Google Services Framework 8.1.0-5280163 (Android 8.1+)
• Min: Android 8.1 (Oreo, API 27)
• Target: Android 8.1 (Oreo, API 27)
• Nodpi
3) Google Play Services
• Source: APK Mirror
• Version: Google Play services 20.47.13 (040300-344095733) (040300)
• Min: Android 6.0 (Marshmallow, API 23)
• Target: Android 11 (API 30)
• nodpi
4) Google Play Store
Doesn't matter so much which version
• Source: APK Mirror
• Version: Google Play Store 23.2.11-16 [0] [PR] 347100967 (nodpi) (Android 4.1+)
• Min: Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean, API 16)
• Target: Android 10 (Q, API 29)
• nodpi
Does anyone some experience with getting the Play Store installed or can point anything obvious I'm doing wrong?
Thank you,
mb

I also have a Pico G2 that I want to use for demostrations & tradeshows in kiosk mode for my costum apps but getting it to run my apps has proven to be a challenge as I'm not that knowledgeble about things like SDK and APK, would you mind explaining to me how you got yours working?

Do you really want that Google crapware on your device? All are known trouble makers and spyware.
Try this instead:
Use another Android device that has Playstore etc to install the apps you want then copy them with ApkExport, then transfer the copies to the other device and install.

You just need it to make an installable copy of the app on the connected device. Then simply transfer that copy, and then punch it to install, it's easy
I've used it like that going from my S4+ (Kitkat) to my Note 10+ (Pie) without issues.
You can make backup copies of all your apps even system updates so you don't need Playstore at all for reloads. I have about 18 gb of backed up apps/versions.
APK Export (Backup & Share) - Apps on Google Play
Manage and extract your apps.

Simply package block it. I can turn it on when I want too. I don't use it for weeks at a time; now it's not running in the background wasting resources or collecting data.
Disabling Google Play Services will also disable Playstore but maybe not fully. Never tested that.

[Google Apps][GO EDITION][8.1][ARM32] Android GO For MOTO E 2015 4G

Hello, I introduce myself, I am not a developer but I want to collaborate with a small project that I think is important for those of us who are looking for stability and performance.
That is why I took on the task of compiling the google applications but in its GO version.
First of all it is a compilation in STABLE state, so it may not be subject to problems or crashes. Well without further filling we begin.
The package can only be installed on LineageOS 15.1 where I have tested it on my moto e and moto g4 play:
What does the packet include:
Packages included in Gapps:-
*Google Chrome
*Google Assistant GO
*Face Lock
*Google Calendar Sync Adapter
*Google Datally (Mobile Data)
*Google Contacs Sync Adapter
*Google TTS
*Google Gallery GO
*Google Files GO
*Google Gboard
*Google Gmail GO
*Google App GO
*Google Backup Transport
*Google Services Framework
*Google Maps GO
*Google Navigation GO
*Google Play Music (Remove for future next release)
*Google Messages (Extracted and ported from oreo system for moto e5 play go edition)
*Google Play Store
*Google Play Services
*Google YouTube GO
That's all it includes, you can also download and update from the Store.
At the moment the package is exclusive for:
Moto E 2015 4G
Moto G3
Moto G4 Play
I'm sorry my english is bad, it's not my native language
Installation:
first of all you need the Android Go patch which is available on the xda forums (I recommend installing it from a clean rom install)
