Att on bootloader 5
Anyone with clear instructions on how to do the bypass
I'm kinda lost on combination file does it have to match firmware ? If so can some point me on to the correct files I need please I don't have 65$ so plus I'm sure I can do this with right instructions
I understand that you're really wanting an answer, but spamming your question in multiple places isn't the best way to go. You sometimes have to be patient for an answer.

Hi guys, I've googled high and low and I can't seem to find anything that I a)understand or b) feel is relevant to my situation.
I bought a HTC on ebay, it arrived, I put my sim in and realised it was rooted. The phone doesn’t work on my network, I knew this when I bought it so I bought an unlock code but due to the root, I can’t seem to enter it, it just says no sim inserted.
Ideally I’d like to remove the root, I’m not a technophobe and learn pretty quickly, but I just don’t understand all these different versions of firmware etc.
I followed the unlockr guide and found out my CID is VODAP001 but the main-version is blank so I don’t know which roms or what have you to download.
I’d be happy leaving the rooting as it is if I could enter my unlock code, but I can’t figure out how to do this either. Is anyone able to help me? I don’t know what’s been done to the phone, the seller is ignoring my messages, I can’t return the phone as I (stupidly) missed the description where it stated the phone is rooted.
If it helps, it says im using cyanogenmod version 13.0.201xxxx and I've seen TWRP when booting to recovery mode etc. I've downloaded a few files, used an all in one mod or something from hasoon but as yet, the file system is unchanged.
I've seen something called sunshine which apparently unlocks to any network but as I've just forked out £100+ for the phone, I don't have the £25 the guides say it charges to unlock
Thank you in advance.
Phil

Hey,
I apologize for asking what I'm sure has already been asked 100 times before but IS there a method to root a Verizon SM-G955U phone? I have tried 5 different rooting methods listed in the forums here and none of them have worked for me. I know that my phone has the locked bootloader but I thought that there was a way to get around that on previous versions of the Verizon Samsung phones in the past. While I'm not an expert by any means I have been able to root all of my VZ phones in the past from the S3, S5, S6+, S7 but now with this S8+ I just seem to be SOL. Is that the case or have I missed something somewhere with a working method to root it? Any pointers, references to other threads, etc are appreciated. I just want my root back. That's not asking too much is it?
Thanks,
David
@dmwxda,
Yes. SamPWND. But you must follow each step, exactly as spelled out in the instructions. Any questions, please post them there > https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...root-g955u-g955u1-snapdragon-sampwnd-t3658911
Thank you! I will give it a shot tonight and see what happens.
i have an oppo AX5s & i have been searching everywhere but come up with nothing about unlocking the bootloader & rooting this phone does anyone know anything about this if it is even possible with this phone sorry if this has been asked before but i've google searched it & come up with nothing any help would be greatly appreciated?
Same here with version CPH1909....
Same here.
Don't care if I brick it but would like to root it.
Root Oppo AX5s
Someone needs to root this
Yeah I'm also interested I've just tryed random stuff so far. Non of the one click roots work. Well superoneclick they said they can do it but you have to pay.
I have the CPH1920
If I find anything to go with or discover anying I'll let you guys no.
I have a tech background but not in rooting phones. Like I use them not designe them ahaha
Edit- I have read there is a way to flash a stock room on them and use it to root the phone. I can't find any ROMs nor can I find a way to extract this one.
Hey has anyone been able to do anything with this god damn phone?
Still trying to unlock bootloader/root for this impossible phone, i do actually have a firehose file for it
I have an LG Stylo 5X model LM-Q720TS and have had problems finding information on unlocking the bootloader. This will be the first root I have never rooted a phone before and really want to do this to my phone just to customize it and make it more secure. I also wanted to install pen testing software on it as well.
Anyway does anyone know of a site that can help me with the logistics of getting it done? I already have a full course on rooting android phones from Udemy and it was very informative on how to do it. I just don't have information on unlocking the bootloader for my phone I am sure I can get twrp for my phone if I can get it unlocked. So please if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Also, any links that lead me to useful software that can help facilitate this process would be great. I don't want to do this using on click rooting apps I want to do this manually this is a learning experience for e as well and I want to get good at this.

Hi,
I'm very new to all of this, and I'm trying to root my LG-30 to recover deleted material. I've been able to reach the fastbooter, but when I try commands to do the unlock.bin, it says it doesn't exist....so then I copied the 64 digit device id and tried going to the LG site to get the key, but LG said it wasn't available for this model.
Soooo....knowing full well that I'm an idiot, could somebody walk me through if there is any way possible at this point to root the phone? If not, is there any other way to get deleted info?
Thank you so much!

Sorry to break it to you but you can't unlock the bootloader. I don't think there's an exploit that patches the unlock.bin file and since LG isn't adding any more phones to support unlocking, the best you can do is wait for a new exploit or method out there.
EDIT: i kinda feel stupid responding to a 6 month post lol
