Hi,
I am a new user of Android, Just purchased a WildFire after Touch2. Am feeling very difficult to use conversation view of sms. Is there any tweak through which i can disable it and use it as normal sms?

I just got a Droid X from a TP2 and have been asking the same question since I got it. I always set it to "Classic" on my TP2. I need an Inbox and Outbox. Anyone?

Also if anyone can please advice how can i send a message to multiple people. I am finding it very difficult to work on Wildfire. Please help!!!

hi,
i tried using ChompSMS but could not find anything related to classic sms view. Is there any setting that i am missing?

When I send a group message the recipients get them as individual messages.

That's not normal. The recipients should get your group messages as group messages, not individual messages.

What messaging app are you using? I was using Hangouts but switched back to stock Messaging as Hangouts was sending and receiving multiple messages randomly and was slow/laggy. The stock app works much better.

So maybe, am having the same problem.

4.4.2 using messaging when it's not default sms app

Pretty much title. I am using Textsecure but my wife's phone has issues accepting picture messages through textsecure while it's encrypted so I was going to send pictures via messaging but even adjusting the app ops settings messaging is still saying it's not allowed because it's not the default sms app. Anyway around this?

what device do you own? on my moto x i am able to go to settings, from there go to the "More" option right under data usage and try seeing if there is a option to change the Default SMS app, should be 2nd option. if you need any more help ill be more than happy to help you out!

Thanks, but what I was looking for is a way to send messages with Messaging when it's NOT the Default SMS app. I want all of my texts going in to Textsecure and be able to send pictures with Messaging. But when Messaging isn't the Default SMS app, it doesn't allow you to send messages. Even if I give it permission in App Ops. :\

Nope. You can only use 1 at a time.

Can't see Emojis

I can't seem to be able to send or receive emojis from friends with iPhones. Is there any way to do this? I am on sprint btw.

Are you using hangout or an other app?

I use textra mainly but I've tried with Go SMS and hangouts as well but nothing works :/
I did get one once when I was in a group message with some friends. could it be an MMS issue?

I am on Hangout only and only get the code and no the image

Copy paste. That's it.

You mean copy each single text and paste it in whatsapp? That is quite a lot of work, and also it would resend those texts to those people I think.

Text messages and whatsapp are two different things.....
