Hey Folks,
Is there a recent solution for rooting Firmware G920FXXU6ERF5/Kernel 3.10.61-13830439 without Tripping KNOX?
Why do you care in 2019?
Sorry for asking. I just don't see any disadvantage.
I tripped my Knox 2 weeks after buying without knowing it.
My S6 ist still awesome with Global Elite 4.0 after replacing battery.

[HOWTO][GUIDE] Flash anything on G925F without tripping Knox
I'm on a custom 5.1.1 rom, custom kernel, KNOX intact, but you do lose fingerprint scanner since you're on a 5.0.2 bootloader

Why you think that i would not search in google?
All what i found are like pingpong, which doesn't wok in 5.1.1 only in 5.0.2 and cf-autoroot which is also only for 5.0.2 and if i flash it, it put my phone to booloop
So i was wondering if there is any other way to root my G920F with 5.1.1 than unikrnel which is only working method i have found...

G920F , not sure if it works on the I or not. You need the engineer bootloader, and I think that only F and T have leaked, but... not sure.

Hey guys...i apologize if this has been discussed already!
I am rooted on OC3 with KNOX intact. Is there currently a way to upgrade to OG5 while keeping root and not tripping KNOX?
rooted OC3 seems pretty good so far and I don't want to trip KNOX because I am REALLY am interested in using Samsung Pay.
so far the updates have not seemed to be anything major. However, 5.1.1 + the Stagefright fix in the most recent update would be nice to have.
Is everyone just waiting until the Samsung Pay update?
thanks!

You won't be able to use Samsung pay if you're rooted anyway. Just warning you

Samsung Pay. nope not for Verizon S6.
side rant: can't encrypt and use samsung pay either. that always makes consumers happy, be more restrictive with less features than the competition.
Need a root file for my s6
dont know if this stuff is important as its my first time rooting so,
my Baseband Version is: G920FXXU2POGN,
and my Build Number is LMY47X.G920FXXU2POGN,
any help would be greatly appreciated
Not advisable as you will trip knox. No root is available still for 5.1.1 without tripping knox.

I came across this video, How to Root Galaxy S6/S6 Edge on Android 5.1.1!(sorry I tried to post the link but because I'm a junior member it wont let me) would this work or should I just wait until there is a proper root for 5.1.1?
Stick with stock 5.1.1, enjoy your S6 as it is and wait for the proper S6 root for 5.1.1 which does not trip knox.
if u really need a root for 5.1.1 there is a kernel with auto root .... i tried it and it works fine but it ((((trips knox!!!!!!!!!)))), if u don't know know why u should root ,u better stick to official stock rom without rooting

Hello, im looking for any way to root (like Ping pong root) that leaves KNOX untouched for 5.1.1 android and G920IDVU2COGA version. Hope to get some info, greetings .
Welcome to XDA. Everything you need to know can be found out by searching the Q&A section or Google for "ping pong root 5.1.1".
Tl;dr - it's not going to happen.

Any informations about Grace UX on S7? I mean I heard something about it on the Android 7 update, but maybe if we don't have a Note 7 now, they will port it faster to S7.
There are a couple N7 ROM ports in Dev section, maybe those have it...

I have a newbie question, I didn't flash any ROMS for a while (since I had a Galaxy S4, 2 years ago). If I will flash any custom ROM, my warranty will be voided? Or is there any solution not to trigger the Knox counter?
Don't know exactly for S7 Edge but I owned an S6 Edge before and on that it was possible to root without tripping Knox but the fingerprint scaner was not working anymore in this case.

Knox will trip, and no there is nothing you can do about it or to reset it unfortunately.
