That would depend what you mean by 'round'
This comes with a round connector.
For 1 thing such a tool could be usefull at least its easy to discover which wire I would need if I would customize a cable by myself
I ment more something as on the image but what I need then is the female

Did you see this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HTC/O2-Touch-...temQQimsxZ20081215?IMSfp=TL081215129003r31462
It has a cable (shown in the pics) similar to what you are looking for.
PS: when you'l finally be able to use your 12000 mhz external battery (hope soon for you), could gently report here? I'm looking forward to buy it too.
Thanks.

I made for the time being a connection by myself whit some cables and I am testing right now, I can tell right now that it’s possible to use my phone during charging with the battery, I have charged the emergency battery now for the second time which takes quite some time to get it full charged, don't now the exact time jet cause I have charged it overnight, but connected it yesterday about 3hour before I went to bed and it still wasn't complete charged this morning it was. I have charged my phone a few times now whit it but this isn't representive yet cause I used the my dock which has 2 lights on it and I kept my phone switched on but could charge it until now this way at least 2 times full whit a 2000mAh battery after that I stopped to do the test without the energy consuming dock and whit the phone switched off. As soon I have the test completed I will write a review about it here.

Hi Z3's fans
I have a question which I 've asked in ( Sony forums ) and ( Qualcomm's facebook page )
My question is :
Does Z3 dual model ( D6633 ) support quick charge 2.0 or not !!!?????
Sony support team said that quick charging is just special for Japanese models and they said :
D6633 supports neither Quick Charge 1.0 or Quick Charge 2.0
Qualcomm at first said yes but when I asked about D6633 didn't answer ..
Do you have any idea about this ?
please help ,, I appreciate that so much
:fingers-crossed:
I have the D6603 model and purchased a quick charge charger. It charges my phone from 45% to 89% percent in 45 minutes. It's takes the phone about 1 hour and a half to charge from empty to full.

usb port.
First of all, sorry to bring this months old thread back to life, but at least to me, this question is left unanswered even though I looked it up here on XDA.
I have just bought a Xperia Z3 Dual (D6633) and I'm considering getting a Quick Charge 2.0 outlet.
Thus, can anyone please confirm whether the Z3 Dual is compatible with QC 2.0?
Thanks in advance.
.I have a D6633 and a generic charger bought from a phone shop (a good one though)
I never timed the charging but it does charge the phone fairly quickly. I would say i can charge it from 0 to full in a couple of hours.
Does that mean it supports quick charge? I don't know but for me it does it fairly quickly especially I don't leave my phone goes completely flat.
and finally it does that through either ports (usb or magnetic).

I am not sure whether it does fully... Let me explain:
I have a Galaxy Note 4 and the QC2 charger that came with it as well as another brand QC2 charger bought on amazon.com
When I attach the Note 4 to either charger (with a USB voltmeter in between), I get 9V and 1.5 A until 85% charge, then down < 1A for the rest.
D6633 (HK software installed) with both 4.4.4 and the new 5.0.2 firmware, starts with 5V (similar to the Note 4), then ramps up to 9V but cannot get any higher than 0.7 A. The original charger that came with the D6633 says 1.5A on it so theoretically, you get more power from that than the QC2 charger.
I am not sure whether it is a software issue or not and how to enable it.
Just an observation.
Thanks for your input, onurd.
Well, getting more A on the original charger than the QC 2.0 charger is actually odd. Why/how could that be?
Anyways, if not allowing the QC 2.0 charge is a Kernel limiting issue, modifying the original Kernel could make it happen, couldn't it? I know barely nothing about programming, but logically speaking, that does make sense...
I know it is odd but it doesn't look like that the device is "requesting" more amperage from the charger. So using a regular (or the original charger) over the QC2 charger makes more sense (5V x 1.5 A = 7.5 W vs 9V x 0.7 A = 6.3 W)
I do think is it a software issue but I don't know to "enable" it. Does anybody with an unlocked bootloader on CM 12 has a different experience maybe?
Hello all,
Since yesterday I have this very strange slow charging problem.
Yesterday I charged for a little bit my Mate7 from a car charger. The charger works and the cable also, used it to change my note3, note4, oneplus one and never gave me any problems.
I charged it for 10-15 minutes from a car charger which for a fact I know that it's working properly. This morning the battery was 8%.....I'm changing it for 4 hours and the battery is only at 55%?
Anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on what's going on?
Please help
Root charge again
Why should I root it in order to charge it as before?

I use 2A .. at home ..
Get proper quality car charger..
Yeah well, it charged my note 3, note 4 and OnePlus One without any problems..... So obviously it's not the charger...

Are you able to solve the issue. I am also facing same issue. I have changed charger , factory reset the phone but still its charging at extremely slow rate.
Same problem here. Has anyone a solution for the slow charging? I just charged for over an hour and it went from 22% to 25%. Original charger and cable.
Exactly same problem .
I have changed the firmware to official lolipop 5.1.1 but there is no difference.
Start charging at midnight and at 7 h am, 40% battery!
The phone is charging but if I must charge for 24 hours , this is a big problem.
This problem is only on Lolipop or same on Kitket?

I don't know but i am in lolipop
i think it is only Lolipop problem,i have the same broblem ,but not every time to slow charge.
Buy yourself USB power monitor on ebay or amazon (they arent expensive) to see how much Amps is getting through. I had three different cables and only one of them charged with 1.7A. The other .085A or 0.99A.

Please check if your data cable works when you connect your mate 7 to pc? By it I means if your device is deted as media device or it only charges ?
This problem used to happen with me .. look
the problem isn't actually the charger itself, it's the USB cable. It needs to be a genuine USB cable that came with some phone, I use a samsung one that came with a note 3. borrow one or get it, or get a full charger.
those USB types work
- HTC , Samsung , Huawei
But first, You need to get a samsung charger 5V >> 2A " you just say to the seller, Samsung fast charge capable charger"
my Huawei y6 is now slow charge from 50 to 100 it take around 3 hrs . i use the original charger.what could be the reason ? And how to solve this ?
Gentlemen, since a few months ago my huawei mate 8, (NXT - L09C605B1 00), the fast charging is no longer working and the worst thing is that the computer does not recognize it, it only charges, both on the pc and the original charger and original cable Load as USB and it takes 10 hours, also buy a new port of charge, all the spare part, my surprise is that it is still that same problem, I will thank you help with some solutions. My wife has the same phone and with my charged and cable if the fast charge works, please your help I do not know what to do

Do you use the good charger?
Till now, I used a Samsung charger with same output (ampere and volt) and it worked fine. But since 2 days, I had the same issue than you. I didn't use this one of Huawei because the plug wasn't compatible with my country. I then tinkered the connection to adapt it to my country. Now all works fine again.

Hi, I have been facing the same problem recently. Please tell me if you found any solution to the problem? I have done everything to solve it. Changed chargers, done the hard reset. Even replaced the spare part. But my Mate 8 still does not connect to PC nor does it support fast charging. Any help will be appreciated.
Hi Friends. I have this weird issue with my le1s. It's only charging while it's off. please tell me if any one of you would know how to address this issue and what might be wrong with it. Thanks in advance.
Are you using the original letv charger and adaptor? This issue usually pops up when the charger that you are using delivers very less current. So when you power on, it charges in a higher speed and may be the cable/ adaptor is not able to deliver enough current. Please check and let know if a new cable/adaptor fixes the issue.

That's a good point. I did buy a replacement cable as i had lost the original one...I'm not sure about the adapter being at fault...will need to get a new set to see if this fixes the problem. worth a try though. appreciate your inputs. :good:
Just make sure that the replacement cable is of a good quality. I'm using mivi cable and that's pretty good. Can be found in amazon. Happy to help. Cheers!

Please use original charger if you're using original cable because our original cable needs 12v output if you're using another charger then don't use original cable instead use a Type-C connector along with usb 2.0 charger it will surely charge your mobile while you're using it.
I'm too facing the same issue ,I'm using original charger and adapter with latest os version installed

Like all the other replies say you should have a good cable. But your mobile should charge even when it is switched on. Maybe too many apps are running in background, due to which it is not charging fast enough to notice.
My le1s is charging but when i put my phone in charging at 11:30 pm at that time my battery was 12 and my phone was charging but when i sawed at 9:00 am the battery was 9 percent please help me!!!
