Now that Huawei is not providing unlock codes through their site, is there any other way to unlock bootloader?

No free method. There are a few paid ones like DC or Ministry Of Solution. Anyway, since the development is already dead the only plus of an unlocked BL is the Root benefits and the occasional ROM that'll boot. There aren't any developers for hi6250 also.

So I've unlocked the phone using DC unlocker. Paid some bucks to get the username and password.
The only reason I wanted to unlock is to install EMUI 8.

It seems you are from India ?
Why cant you just try by visiting service center if you paid DC-Unlocker $5 then its okay but if you are gonna pay more its better you visit service center.

You need to be unlocked before you can root.

Yeah, but hey, is there no other way of rooting an Honor 6X?
DC Unlocker (also as App) and DC Phoenix should work, we have to pay for both. But I have no experience, I hope anybody can give more informations.

i am getting bootloops device is locked and recovery is also damaged alongwith screen

There are some dubious sites that sell software to get the unlock code like sigmakey.com. But they demand $ 129. Is it worth it? I don't think so.

Actually, no brand shares the official method for rooting the phone.
The rooting phone is commonly done by dev or advanced user. That's why I wonder if the rooting with the common method will be in use here. Only if we had the official and standalone release for ROM. The risk will be low & the chance will be high.
