There are updates to Oreo for model FRD-L09C432 (B562, actually). You can find it with Firmware Finder by Team-MT. Just do a forum search for instructions. There are several install guides.
Which way you install the update depends on your situation. Is the official way not working for you? I suggest you try it with HiSuite and update via USB cable. It's the easiest and safest way.
As I had unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed I used HuRUpdater using this guide and it worked well (even if it's already released - it doesn't matter - you only need to choose correct firmware; model / region / version: FRD-L09/C432/B562)

latest update from huawei

Latest update from huawei did the following to my phone which was a rooted mate 8. ( losing root access was a given i guess )
No bluetooth
No google account
No file manager
No virtual keyboard
No alarm clock
Google voice set to default with no other alternative....AND it doesn't work!
Themes don't work.
Factory reset stops at around 22% with an exclamation mark
Pretty nifty for a 5 minute "Official" update.
What am i supposed to do with this lump of hardware?
I have my bootloader code, i have srk tool. I was originally on b190 buildnumber, then went to b200...and now this. Can someone please suggest which build number i need so i can then find the right instructions for the downgrade or whatever it's called.
U need Rollback package

if you have Huawei Mate 8 L29 model & if you are on Android Nougat then you need rollback package
Here is the link
http://consumer.huawei.com/sg/mobile-phones/support/downloads/detail/mate-8-sg.htm?id=91647
This is straight from Huawei and it is really a life saver. Only this file will work in dload method for you at this moment especially when you have NRD test keys or want to downgrade form nougat to marshmallow.
Download the file
Extract the update.app
Make a folder in your external SDcard and name it as dload
Place the update.app in that dload folder.
You can dload method 2 ways.
method 1
switch off your phone
press and hold volume up, volume down and power button all together
Once you see EMUI on your screen release your fingers from the phone.
method 2
open your dialer
type *#*#2846579#*#*
select - software upgrade - > SD card upgrade
that's it.
Once you are done. You will be on C900BXX build number. Then you need to dload another firmware. And which firmware you need to flash is based on your phone region and model. Is your phone previous firmware L29C185BXX ? if yes then you have to flash L29C185B180 or B192 according to your model. This is really important. Please share your complete build number.
Once you succeed in these steps then we can discuss how to move forward and what to flash next.
Hope you find this information useful and hope you succeed.

The region is Australia
Build number before this superb update was nxtl29c18b200
Now build number is NRD90 test-keys
Not that im being picky or selfish perhaps but is there a stable firmware which has low power consumption, themes work, better operation performance?
By the way, both of the above mentioned methods don't work. I got an exlamation mark and a message saying update doesn't exist after only 5% of updating

So you have NXT-L29C185B200 is that correct? you can check this in settings - > about -> build number
you are not in nougat so please do NOT use the file in my previous post. (that should be used only if you are in nougat)
At the moment you are in marshmallow EMUI 4.0
If you have unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed then flash L29C185B180 (stock firmware)
Link to that firmware - > http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1076/g104/v51422/f1/full/update.zip
For unlocking, installing TWRP you can use SRK tools. I hope you have SRK tools, if not you can get it from this thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/development/tool-srk-tool-huawei-t3369797
and from this thread you can find how to use SRK tools to unlock and install TWRP.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/vdo-guide-how-to-srk-tool-huawei-unlock-t3409707
There is a video tutorial on how to do this.
Link to the thread where you can find all Stock firmwares is here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/huawei-mate-8-stock-firmware-official-t3391727
For flashing the firmware
1) Factory reset
2) Format DATA
3) Flash the zip file from the above link.
Android Nougat is Android 7.0 version. and the corresponding firmware's start with L29C185B5XX
First let us get rid of that NRD test keys then you can your phone can be updated to latest firmware easily. I will explain you in detail once you succeed in this step. Don't worry about errors.
Hope you succeed.

I am sorry I should have been more specific. I meant before NRD test keys, your build number was NXT-L29C185B200 ? (C185 is region specific) C432 is for Europe.
And now you have EMUI 5.0? then you can use the rollback package.
Here is the link

I thought you were in marshmallow so I suggested you not to use it. But if you are in Android 7.0 (Nougat) then you can use the rollback package.
This rollback package will downgrade your phone back to Marshmallow and then build number might say C900BXX. It should get rid of that NRD test keys.
And after that you have to flash the stock firmware using dload method
Link to that firmware - > http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/d...ull/update.zip

Bro, you can download the firmware using firmware finder..you can install it from play store..then choose your model and region. hope this will help you.
Edit: Sorry i just checked your latest firmware is what you're using right now..sorry bro..i think you can debranding the phone then flash new nougat firmware..you can choose either europe, asia or middle east for the region. there are tons of thread to do this..
i do a rollback but build number get c900 instead of c605 of my region. original insrtuction PDF speak about a file called SDupdate_Package.tar.gz someone know about this? Im using a nxt-l09c605

Stock update keeps failing

Hi all,
I have the AL10 dual sim version and have managed to rebrand it to L09. I've tried a few times to get custom roms working but they all seem to have the same issue which is that the sim card cannot be detected (I'm using a 4g Australian sim). I'm now back on stock EMUI 5 version b300 but have found there is no smart key feature, so I'm trying to update to a more recent version of EMUI. I've tried the method of using the dload folder then holding power and volume up and down and it tries to update but always fails and says to go to Huawei's website.. If I check for updates in settings or in hiSuite it says there are none. Does anyone know how I can get it to work?
Thanks,
Josh
Try using the Update Through DNS thing is Firmware Finder. Otherwise rollback to Marshmallow and update again, which should work.
I had the same problem. So i made the roll back to Marashmallow, then update to the latest Nougat Firmware trough OTA. That worked for me. For everything you can use the related guide here on XDA

Help on rooting BLL-L22 @ EMUI 5

I finally managed to snag myself a bootloader unlock code from dc-unlocker.
So can I ask for help for directions here as to where can I read and follow rooting, TWRP installation and installing either a rooted Oreo or a modded working Nougat ROM of BLL-L22?
Another question, out of curiosity, is there a way to switch this phone's software to BLN (Honor 6x) since they're so similar, as to make it easier to just follow proper instructions here, rather than find if any method here would work on my model?
Thanks!
Uh, sure. First of all, you can get Oreo. Official EMUI 8. Or you can flash a Pie custom ROM. Now you need Oreo for that as well so we'll first cover that. To update to Oreo first decide what firmware you want. You can either update to EMUI 8 India or China. India is good as daily driver. China is good for flashing Custom ROMs. Once you have decided, download HWOTA for Honor 6x from XDA. Search for it. Next you need firmware files. If you want Oreo from India search for BLN-L22 HNC185 on Firmware Finder and then download latest Full-OTA. Otherwise search for BLN-AL20 and download latest Full-OTA.

There is a possible workaround which I did last week.
First, I had upgraded version of Android 8.0 (MHA-L29 8.0.0.375(C567)(Stock Official) and possible to obtain the bootloader code when I start this process.
Here is what I did.
1. Downgrade to Android 7.0(EMUI 5.0) by using Huawei's HiSuite software
Click "Update" and select earlier version.
Current : MHA-L29 8.0.0.375(C567)(Official)
Earlier : MHA-L29C567B190(Official) | 2.45GB | Android 7.0(EMUI 5.0)
2. Using 3rd Party tool/service(about $5), I was able to get the bootloader code
In my case, I used DC-Unlocker tool(FREE) and purchasing 4 credits($4.71).
With the bootloader code, you can move to the next steps(root, custom ROMs, etc...)
Hope it helps!

In fact, I was not sure mine(from Android 8.0 to Android 7.0(EMUI 5.0)) could also downgrade, too.
(Yes, I did not expect to work to be honest with you.)
It would be good to try since it does not cost anything except your time (back up data and actual trying).

Yes, I saw this before I try - Well I took the risk.
I can only assume that my phone was fine since it was stock & locked boot loader when I downgrade.
Now, my phone is unlocked boot loader & rooted with latest OTA Update applied - when OTA applied,
it locked the boot loader again which I had to unlock it again.

Thanks & Really Sorry for misunderstanding & misreading.
Starting 8.0.0.377 and newer version can't downgrade it => it will brick the phone!
Up to MHA-L29 8.0.0.375(C567) and lower versions can downgrade by using Huawei's HiSuite software.
Hope this clears and provide right(safe) information. I do not want to provide dangerous (which will brick) information to all.
Again, Thanks:good: and Sorry for my mistake previously.

Hi, I have MHA-L29 8.0.0.370 (C432) security patch 1 july 2018, can i unlock the bootloader with DC-Unlocker ?
I tried to downgrade with Huawei's HiSuite (version 9.0.3.300_OVE) but the "Update, swith to other version" doesn't appear.
Up to which version 8.0.0.??? ( or security patch ? ) can Mate 9 be downgraded with Huawei's HiSuite
Up to which version 8.0.0.??? ( or security patch ? ) can DC-Unlocker unlock the bootloader ?
It seeems like you need to first upgrade from Nougat 7.x to Oreo 8.x WITH Huawei's HiSuite,
only then the "swith to other version" is available in Huawei's HiSuite to roll back from 8.x to 7.x ... correct ?

Up to which version 8.0.0.??? ( or security patch ? ) can DC-Unlocker unlock the bootloader ?
It seeems like you need to first upgrade from Nougat 7.x to Oreo 8.x WITH Huawei's HiSuite,
only then the "swith to other version" is available in Huawei's HiSuite to roll back from 8.x to 7.x ... correct ?

unfortunately there no unlock solution for us after gpu turbo ( from what i have read) and im plannig to sold my mate 9 as i have buying brand new xiaomi redmi note 7 and mi max 3.
this device has a very nice superb hardware but the locked bootloader really bad.
HI. I have a Mate 9 MHA-L00 with unlocked bootloader and installed KANGVIP ROM (Android 7...). I would like to try OpenKirin based PIE ROM, but in order to do that I would have to go back to stock EMUI and thus my bootloader would be re-locked. Is there a way to read the bootloader code again on an unlocked bootloader MHA-AL00? I am googling but can't find anything. I know there is DC-Unlocker but I would like to use that as a last resort. Thanks.

Inability to upgrade my htc 10 os from nougat to oreo! (2.41.401.4)

Hi Everyone,
It's a privilege to be here, Pls I have endlessly searched the threads but none was helpful so far.
I want to update my HTC 10 from Nougat 7.0 to Oreo 8.0 but everytime I download through the settings and about phone and click on software update; it complains the Os has been modified and asuch update will be reverted.
I already downloaded 3.16.617.2 from HTC official portal but it gave same complain.
My software build number is 2.41.401.4, Baseband Version: [email protected]
Please someone should help me with the link of its Oreo 8.0, build number...
ruu...exe download link, thanks in advance.

If your device is rooted or if you have TWRP installed, you can't apply the update via OTA
If you want to update via OTA, you will have to unroot your device and undo any changes that you made to the system partition and you will have to replace TWRP with a copy of your stock recovery. Then you can apply the update. You will have to root and install TWRP again after the update is applied.
Or, you can manually download the update from the internet and then use a PC to manually flash via your device's compatible flashtool or via fastboot(whichever is intended to flash firmware on your device).

I already tried what you suggest but to no avail!

Good Morning Everyone,
@Droidriven, thanks for your kind response, but I did what you suggest, re-install Nougat Rom from Htc official link deliberately did not root it at first, click on the OTA & yet, got same complain.
I even tried 2.41.401.41--3.16.401.2_S-On_firmware.zip with it but doesn't still work.
But from my research, this is what I found out that works..
* The Phone (HTC 10) is Hong Kong Unlocked Version with build number 2.41.401.4, [email protected] as its base band.
the ROM that will work must share same details with the one provided above.
Anyone that has Oreo 8.0 (2.41.401.4) Update in RUU file format, should Please kindly share its download link with me, I regret the inconveniences, thanks in advance.
