ABOUT
ArrowOS is an AOSP based open source project started with the aim of keeping things simple, clean and neat. We added just the right and mostly used stuff that will be actually USEFUL at the end of the day.

To answer this question.

Look like I fix the whole drain once for all by porting a Doze from official LineageOS here a screenshot in attached files.
P.S: the test in progress is without sim. I will post the final result later before upload the build.

Flashed this morning and I can say that now this is the best Pie ROM for Hi6250. Fast and smooth, with only the useful stuff: you are the best Haky!
Minor bug report: when using the Weather Forecast option on lockscreen, it shows a red square instead of the icon (if the provider is not configured it shows the correct icon of "No weather", though)
Sent from my P10 lite using XDA Labs

Thx, seems like i have to test this rom.
Maybe it will be the new king of the hill, that currently AOSPE6.1 is.
When the next version is out, i will definitivly test it out.

Well I've been using it for the past 24 Hours and here's my two cents. Overall it's a great ROM. Smooth and has a somewhat better battery backup. In my testing battery life was the same for me as it was on AOSP Extended but then again I have heavy tweaks and Performance Mods. Aesthetically it's similar to both Pixys and AOSP Extended. By default there isn't much difference between the three. However, on the topic of themes, one thing I noticed is that you can't use system themes If you have Substratum. While on Pixys Substratum pretty much broke themes. On AOSP you can use them together so that's a plus. Other than that I've yet to find anything different between the three ROMs. They look & feel the same. They almost have the same performance and in the end it's personal preference. Arrow has a bit more customization options but the fact that they don't have a separate menu and are instead scattered among the different settings menus and sub menus so it's a bit difficult to find everything. Over all it's a great ROM. Didn't face any Bugs. Battery life is also good. Thanks @haky86 for this Amazing ROM. Your work is highly appreciated.
I don't know if you take request but could you please take a look at Havoc 2.0? I really like that but the GSI doesn't boot on Kirin devices. Thanks Hua**** for that. Again, thanks for all your work.

cookremier said:
More customizations sounds good and as long they are sorted into logical menus, it wouldn´t be so bad.

Tested the last version and the main difference to AOSPE are how the menu options are sorted.
Also the dialer app, that does not color like the setted theme and the bootlogo that is definitivly better than the AOSPE bootlogo.
Always on is not available in Arrow OS, but no problem cause it´s totally bugged in AOSPE.
Smoothness is good as AOSPE, if you think that it is smoother, look into the dev options, the animation time is 0.8, on AOSPE its 0.6.

* always on: I forget to add a string to overlay that enable it.
* about sorted options: it could be the only rom that don't have proper section to enable such features like OmniGear in OmniROM and Extended in AEX.
* might I'll release another build but actually I'm working on AOSP 9 R30 that they release yesterday. as I said in telegram group I will kept updated just 2 roms such AOSP and OmniROM that's enough for me.

About LunuxOS
LunuxOS is my personal project with selective features over GZOSP (which is very close to AOSP on it's own). It will be updated once every week, probably on Sunday, with cumulative changes through the week. If necessary, I will surely release new update before due date.
LunuxOS was the name I gave to my first Custom ROM for Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite based on Samsung's Stock Firmware of Android 2.3.6. Since then I have always wanted to have my own take on Android but it never took off until now.
LunuxOS is not your just another AOSP based Custom ROM. I see it in between AOSP based ROMS and Stock ROM provided by OnePlus. It contains bundled applications for day to day tasks and can be used immediately after flashing it without the need to download basic applications.

Disclaimer
I am new to the Development scene. I have tested the ROM again and again before releasing. But it's not perfect. You must understand that I will not be held responsible if anything goes wrong with your device while you were trying to flash this ROM. I will try my best to help you in times like those but don't held a grudge against me. You must be familiar with Custom ROMs and the risks which come with them.
You can use the ROM as is without flashing Google Apps or any other application for basic necessities. All the bundled applications except the Pixel Launcher can be updated from Play Store.

F.A.Q.s
Q. 1. Does it supports Encrypted devices?
A. Yes, it supports Encryption. But still PLEASE do take a backup as this ROM is still in early stages and some unseen issue may cause it to break. So PLEASE at least take a backup beforehand.
Q. 2. Does it supports VoLTE?
A. Yes, VoLTE is supported but make sure you follow these steps carefully before reporting not working:
Update to latest Open Beta (24/15)/Stable ROM (4.5.x).
Complete your device setup and make sure that VoLTE is turned on and working.
Reboot to recovery and flash this ROM.
Now VoLTE will work.
[IF VOLTE STOPS WORKING AFTER REBOOT THEN SIMPLY GO TO SETTINGS > NETWORK & INTERNET > MOBILE NETWORK > DISABLE VOLTE AND RE-ENABLE IT.]
(If VoLTE was disabled on Stock/Open Beta ROM then it may not work on LunuxOS).
Q. 3. Why does the Charging don't show up?
A. It's a known bug in all Oreo based ROM for OP3/3T. Switch off your device. Power it on using the Power button. Plug in your charger when OnePlus logo shows up. Now the Charging indicator will show until next reboot. Follow this step every time when you reboot. Once rebooted you may unplug charger if not required to charge. [This fix was stated by a user in LineageOS 15.0 thread.]
Version 1.0 Beta-2 [21-10-2017]:
Add: Network speed meter in statusbar with minimum threshold limit. (This marks the starting of LunuxOS Extensions with handpicked features over AOSP).
Add: Disable Buttons Backlight (still WIP, buttons light up again everytime the screen is unlocked).
Update: Linux kernel to version 3.18.76 from 3.18.75.
MISC.: Under the hood bug fixes and updates.

[Update]Updated kernel to 3.18.75 from 3.18.72.
[Add]On-screen navigation buttons (with long press home to start Google Assistant, recents to start multi-window).
[Add]Double click on-screen navbar to sleep.
[Add]Android 8.0.0 Oreo built in theme manager with 2 themes (Pixel and Stock).
[Fixed]Advance buttons Settings option name fixed. Previously it was named "Notification slider". Now it's more appropriately named "Buttons & notification slider" with correct icon.
[Removed]Simple Camera and Simple Music Player have been removed on users demand.
Other under the hood bug fixes and updates.
Version 1.0 Alpha [09-10-2017]:
Based on GZOSP (Android 8.0.0), using Intoxicated kernel version 3.18.x.

I installed but after the liquid remix logo there was a password required and Auto reboot redirecting to TWRP. I couldn't use the rom. I tried wiping internal storage too but it didn't work.
Any thoughts?
Could not find a way to change wallpaper. It only suggests live wallpaper, which I have little use for. Please include a gallery app with the next build.
You should also use another A2 camera module. The one installed now renders FP pretty "sensitive" to touch on home screen.

Already holding my breath... As of today, ROM is unusable due to the FP/camera bug (very annoying). Just changing or uninstalling camera won't help. It's on the system level. I've found out that it can be introduced to any other ROM w/ MiUi camera by flashing FPshutter module. And it can't be gotten rid of, at least on the user side.

let's reserve one post like usually and happy flashing to all.
P.S: for PRA-LX1 users I'd recommend to have B360 to boot it without problems. but if boot even with newer firmware, you don't need to downgrade.
Thanks Soo much for this. Just one question. Do we flash Gapps or not. And flash like all the other ROMs you made? Via Askuccio TWRP
big thanks.......just was mad about rr rom nd ws eagerly waiting for this ...dream come true
Nice to see RR
Great, can I flash it on P Smart FIG-LX3? Thanks in advance

Thank you for this ROM. It's very stable. Notice a few bugs so I'll list them here.
1. Torch doesn't work. The toggle in Quick Setting is grayed out and Third Party apps Don't see it
2. Camera crashes. No matter which app, default or third party it shows black screen. Doesn't even start.
3. Live Display. It doesn't even turn on. QS tile does nothing and if I set it to on it again turns off.
4. Mobile Data. On first boot it didn't work. I checked and there were no APN's. After manually adding them,it's all smooth.
5. Resurrection Tools. All works but some entries like Miscellaneous, Animations etc cause Setting to crash.
6. Hotspot isn't available. There is some Bluetooth Tethering menu, tho.
I'm sure there are other but these are the only ones I could find. Other than these minor bugs, ROM is as smooth as a baby's bottom. Really looking forward to update.

Noted.
As there'll be the update that fixes the bugs mentioned by Mannan (to be clear I'm not asking ETAs or similar things, it's just what i think), this ROM will be my first choice as it's my favourite OS. Keep on the good work @haky 86

My advice is to wait next releases, as you see there is no configurations even for hotspot while work fine on other roms.
Hope your emui5 version will succeed in the future. I don't like to rebrand my Honor6X to chinese and update. Patiently following all your works :good:

Good to hear your supporting this ROM. So just a curious question. Which ROMs are you supporting Right Now. I assume LOS and Arrow are not supported. Neither is AOSP?
God!
Thank you!

Happy RR is Back
Build Initial
Enjoy the build.
WOW, ton of features inside. Awesome work dev.
So far everything work flawlessly except for these,
- LED not working when charging
- Alert slider notification not working
- Tiles on quickbar not position really well (see image)
Pretty sure these will be fixed in the next build.
After coming to RR I've never been wanting something else. Happy to see RR with Android 10 is coming our way. Thanks!
The Rom has tons of customizations, they aren't optimally organised tho, I wasn't able to find 2tap2wake for example. Swap hardware buttons doesn't seem to work. I assume it can only get better with next builds, kudos to dev.
After having used RR for years, I've been struggling to find a 10.x ROM that would meet my expectations. Super happy to see you porting it to our devices, going to flash asap!
Nice!

I was surprised to see there's no alert slider and hw button controls, but then I realized, it's probably ported from a device that has neither

Yes, in my experience it's because of unofficial builds in general. But it's the first release if I got the information herein so far. Shouldn't be too big of a problem to put those code snippets of other working 10 ROMs in there.

i've used this rom for about 4 Weeks, fast, smooth, stable, no random reboots or whatever, sorry idk what u are installed on this. Or which Kernel u use.
Kernel from the rom, and my usual sets of apps (which are working well with all the other roms from you i might add since you're so prolific). I also noted that fennec was crashing (i use migrate to reinstall the apps + data). It might be that but migrate plays well usually. no biggie i'm happy to have some choice thanks to your hard work. The only nagging thing : i cant have a rom that support waking up the screen when a sms is received. (some advertised the feature but it never work). i rely on an app to do that.
