Just got my Nokia 3.1 TA-1063, unpacked and plugged to charger and USB cable that came with the phone. Screen is dead, phone just keeps vibrating every 5 seconds, no signs that it's charging or booting, just this vibrates. Tried volume up+ power on button for more than 10 secs, but that does nothing. It's bricked or something? Any solutions?

yesterday my HTC was empty so i charged it untill today morning but now there´s just a black screen when i turn it on it vibrates but it just has a black screen ! i tried to hold down the power button longer than 20 secs and i can´t even start the bootloader !
Hope you Guys can help i dot´know what i could do

does that charging LED turn on while you were charging it?
try charging with a PC via USB port

Yeah the LED turns orange when my HTC gets charged and on my PC it is normal it shows my internal storange etc.
But even when i connect my HTC to my PC it´s having a black screen... the 3 bottom buttos are white :/
Strange. Have you tries doing a hard reset?
Vol Down + Power will take you to bootloader, then you go to recovery and a hard reset would do the job I think.

That´s one problem i can´t access the bootloader or i don´t know if i´m in the bootloader because the display is black,
Guyz I flashed this thing to update (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756100) my mz617 to ICS and followed every instruction and now my xyboard won't turn on ...
During flashing my tab had only 5% battery but flashing succeeded but still phone is not turning on. I have kept my tab charging from past 2 Hrs but still wont turn ON. Pls help me guyz.. :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

i know this might be a dumb question, but have you tried pressing volum up+volume down+power together when you're turning it on? does it do anything when you do that? have you tried booting into recovery?
oohhh always last thing, are you using the power adapter that came with the xyboard to charge it? because if you are using just USB cable to PC it wont power up, also, if you are not using the designated charger, i can tell you first hand that it will take about an hour of charging before you can power it up since its not the right voltage i.e, a phone charger, i use my Samsung Galaxy tab 3's charger to charge this beast and it works well, but yes if the battery died, the thing wont power up for like an hour, try this.. unplgu it from the charger, press the power button, if u see the red light blink next to the camera, then its just a dead battery, you should be ok, if you dont see nothing then you might have an issue, but i can tell you this, if you had an error flashing or bricked it, when you try to power it up if it has battery life, the screen will light up, but just stay black, but if its not lighting up, chances are its dead and just needs to be charged
@masterse7ven first of all thanks for the reply. I am using power adapter which is not meant for the xyboard but when tried to connect power adapter my xyboard shows white light @ bottom & red at top next to camera. & it used to blink red light 3 times when i tried to power up. Now after an hour or so No light when connected to power adapter & no blink while trying to turn thing on. I tried vol down + up + power button But still no response I think its the charger heck I think remaining battery power is also drained ??????? I will buy a new charger again. & reply the results...

My OnePlus has bricked!
I press and hold the power button, the phone does not turn on.
The screen does not turn on, the phone does not vibrate, and when I plug the charger in, it still does not do anything!
The phone is not detected on the computer either.

What did you do and plz don't say nothing.
P.S. Sometimes its from excessive power drain, put it in the charger and leave it a day, come back and check it out - reply to this thread if that fixed you phone -

Apparently, my OnePlus didn't vibrate or anything, but it came up on my computer, and I just used the OnePlusRestoreTool.
I bricked my device before, but the screen would at least turn on, and it would vibrate. (Letting me know I could use Qualcomm Restore Tool)
I got scared since it wasn't showing up for a second, and I thought I fried the motherboard lol.
This can be closed.
I had a problem booting up my tablet because it stucked on Asus logo and after few hours he didn't even show Asus logo, only light up black screen whenever i push power or connect it to charger. Then i read from several places that i should disconnect 6pin battery connector for 5 minutes and connect it back, which i did. Now my tablet is completely DEAD, doesn't reacting on charger, power button, nothing... please help!

Just give it a try connecting to SP flash tool
If it detects ur device, it's easy
Don't forget to inetall drivers first
