Screen unlock - In-display fingerprint sensor
The purpose of this app is to bring the software experience from screen unlock (from the Oneplus 6T) to other devices. This app actually uses some kind of verification to detect registered fingers. So it's not even a total scam.
Features:
Way of verifying finger (but not reliable)
Open fingerprint display overlay from anywhere
Ambient display

Don't worry, I'm only using the touchscreen. no creepy camera stuff.

Is there actually any verification or is it just probability?

It uses some tricks with the touch screen. But don't expect it to be reliable.

Stupid app locked my phone.

Not bad, dude.
Ambient display not automatically running on background, but it's okay. Maybe you should improve this app.

What kind of tricks? This is a very cool idea. What makes it much better is the fact that it actually works

Bro can you please bump it back to 6.0+ for support? Many people still have devices running Android Marshmallow. Thanks.
Working okayish on 7.0 device SKY Pro 3
Needs to be slightly more aggressive or toggle to set auto start or something, so it comes on automatic. Themes would be greatly appreciated if you could implement it.
Looking forward to following this application development.

There we go, its now for 5.0+ users.
Other changes will be made in the future.

Oh wow this is awesome! Can't wait to mess with my friends. But more than that I was blown away when it accepted the right finger and always denied the others. If you set up your finger in a weird position at first it might actually fool others
Edit: It works great inside the app and on the home screen when using the QS tile (the android p style shortcut doesn't show up for me idk) but on the replacement AOD it rejects it every time? Is a logcat useful here?

People having crashes, could you please provide more info (logcats) instead of "Crashes upon starting"
Thanks.

When i press back button it closes amoled display, please solve it

[APP][4.0+]Obstructer: Phone Privacy Simplified

Introducing Obstructer: A guest mode app for Android. It's one of the few apps that blocks access to your phone's content when you let someone use your phone.

Obstructer contains a dialer that lets someone call anyone, but they're locked into the app until the owner enters a password. This way, nothing on your phone can be accessed without your permission. When you're done with the app, just tap on "unlock device" in the menu, enter your password, and your phone is back to normal.
There's also an upgraded version of Obstructer called Obstructer Plus that enhances your privacy with more features. You can let someone send a message without them being able to see your own messages. It includes a way for someone to browse the internet without your personal browser being shown. It even includes a way to show only one photo at a time to eliminate unwanted gallery scrolling.
Obstructer and Obstructer Plus: Two great apps that protect your privacy. Coming soon to Google Play, stay tuned for more details.

KeepItOn (KIO) is an application designed to end the scourge of the screen turns off while we are reading or watching something. So annoying, at least for me…
How it works
KIO detect any small movements and prolongs the time to turn off the screen, like if you have touched the screen. Even if the screen turns off, you can always shake to wake you up during a time set by you, default is 5 seconds, and by shake I mean move slightly.
Please test it, rate it and give your feedback.
I will try to attend possible requests as soon as I can.

Thanks great idea as it alwasy annoy me when screen turns off while i am reading, willl give it a try I hope it wont consume too much battery
very useful, thank you. keep your work!
How is the battery consumption?
This goes on back process yes?
how this will affect on battery?
Thank you Sir :good: .. Works good on Lenovo A3000 with andrid 4.2.2
Will motion keep it awake if it's in your pocket and you're walking, or does it use the proximity sensor to prevent that? Will the motion of a moving car keep the screen from turning off?

Yes, this is a background process that reads the accelerometer. However when screen is off the service is running but it is doing nothing.
I am using for two weeks and have not noticed any significant change with the battery consumption.

Is there something like this for Xposed?
"Pocket mode" added.
Due to all the requests that I have had, I decide to add a feature that check the proximity sensor in order to detect if phone is in the pocket, prevent that way that phone stay alive forever in the pocket, draining all the battery.
Please test it and help me make KeepItOn better.
Happy new year everyone!
I've previously turned on the app, set it to "auto start", rebooted & now I've noticed that it was turned off. Maybe this was only to me. By the way, great app.
sir you deserved lots of thanks from me it's great app
I can see advantages to this app and I can see disadvantages too...
Is there any way to make this "app dependant", so like it will only keep the screen on when compared to a whitelist of apps, otherwise it will leave the screen off as normal? For example, it would be very useful to have the screen stay on for reading from a browser, but not when my phone is just displaying the launcher homescreen? I know it is probably asking the earth or close to the impossible but I thought i would ask anyway
New update available.
- Notification Icon
- Minor bug fixes
This update is a big update for android 4.4.2 users since there is a bug on that android version, for that users "Notification Icon" must be always on. More info here.

The first objective of the app is the simplicity, but I will though about that feature and see if it's worth.
I've got notification icon enabled in settings but I don't see the icon in the status bar. Running 4.4.4 on a Sprint Moto X.

This way we have no idea what other useful features a ROM may have. What about there is a thing that makes this particular ROM stand out because no other ROM has it, shouldn't we consider this? Otherwise a great idea...

Only official for now, but when I update it I'll provably add ports as well.
Nice work indeed! Is the update to Oreo still on the map? I am new in this field and it might help me.
However, I suppose I will need to do some reading to decide on more subjective aspects like smoothness, battery duration, etc.
Thanks anyway!
Very useful, thanks. I was just looking for an up-to-date Rom for a phone that I stopped using a month ago, maybe now I'll be able to use it again.
