i am on official LTE lollipop SM N 9005,
i am using whats app plus on my device.
although after blocking many whatsapp plus users. i was fortunate enough to not get blocked.
now the problem is .. i want to root and install other roms. and the question is after installing any other rom will i be able to use whatsapp plus again?
because now new whatsapp with calling feature is introduced. so is it possible to install the whatsapp plus 6.72 version on it?

I think You can Install whatsapp plus without any problem,,,Am also Using whatsapp Plus on a custom Rom L21 :good:

whats app widget
Hi all. Just on the off chance. I have whats widget and whatsapp n installed. Whatsapp+ n working fine however, what's widget is complaining that whatsapp is not installed. I'm assuming that it lithe file locations are different.
Anyone else come across this?
we are using the same WhatsApp,messenger, Facebook old and boring ui.we don't have even option to theme it.
to theme we need to use cm(aka lineage) /substratum theme engine. but it require root.

I wanna try reviving the (made obsolete by Samsung) MyKnox App and for that i need a little help. I observed something after the Oreo upgrade of my S8 and i wanna analyze that to see if i can do something to simulate the MyKnox activation without the Samsung servers.
For that i need someone who still has a working installation of MyKnox on Android 6.0, 7.0 and 7.1 who can give me a backup of the apps (Apps only, not the data). If you need help on how to do that please contact me, or write in this thread. I hope i can find someone who still has them.

I am currently running lineage os 16.0 on my s7 herolte, I've tried many apks, ported apks and flashable apks and none have worked. Everytime I try to open the app it instantly closed.

If you are referring to the themes like the ones you would get from the Samsung Theme Store, you can't. Those are for TW ROMs

I have a request.. Can anyone mod the op6 gallery version 2.6.78 ..its from older op6 roms..so that it can be used in android 10 as the default gallery.. it was very useful for annotations of screenshot.. New gallery app is really bad for annotations..

Just find an alternative app. Even if someone did manage to get it working on Android 10, you won't be able to install it if you're not rooted since you cannot install a modified APK to replace the original app due to conflicting signatures.
Also, this belongs in Q&A.
