H830 20K, rooted
I have heard SuperSU does not work in Oreo. What is the step to switch from SuperSU to Magisk?
Thanks

I want V4a and it's not possible without SuperSU so any Systemless build of SuperSU that you guys have running on your 7.1.1 build?
I have v4a but i don't use supersu, i use the one that CM already has.
Also, I don't think CM 14.1 requires a systemless root.

Use phh super user
Anyone know if I need to downgrade to MM and re-flash twrp to get Magisk working for systemless root?
I can install SuperSU but Magisk automatically reboots the phone while flashing the Zip file in twrp.

Hi guys,
I'm running stock S7 rom and am rooted with Magisk. However, I would like to switch to SuperSu as Magisk causes some problems for me (CPU frequencies not sticking etc).
Is there a way to do this?
Magisk has an uninstaller (link in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445) so my best bet would just be run the uninstaller which will remove Magisk, then install SuperSU through it's official instructions?
Hi
Just looking at rooting and installing twrp and magisk on one plus 7 pro new phone
Can you install twrp and magisk on android 10?
Yes you can. you need the unofficial twrp (version 3.3.1-70, 71 or 72). Magisk will work just fine. It is just a bit painful when you update your phone with a OTA because you will lose root.

can you not just Install Magisk to Inactive Slot after OTA? Then you shouldn't lose root after an update.

yes, that's right. You also need to get twrp retention scrip Magisk module flashed after the OTA so you don't lose twrp.
can someone tell me the proper twrp or blue spark twrp and magisk to flash, i'm on 9.09 and keeping it. Don't care for 10. Thank you
