Fingerprint Swipe (left, right,up for Back, Home, Recents/Sleep)
The third party custom fingerprint apps were not working after Pie update, which was so useful since this is a huge phone, so made a custom module inspired by rori's module.
UPDATE
Couldn't update for a long time since I moved to OP7T.
Anyway got some free time in lockdown, so here we go
Fingerprint_swipe v3 Magisk20+ Changelog
Support for Magisk 20+ (Tested on Magisk 20.4)
Uses Latest MMT-Ex from Zackptg5
Works on OOS10 Open Beta
INSTALLATION : Remove other old Modules and flash this in Magisk (Should work on OOS and Custom ROMs)
What it does?
Swipe left for BACK/Close notification
Swipe right for HOME
Swipe up for RECENTS
Swipe up twice for switching to LAST APP
Swipe down UNTOUCHED (Default notifications swipe)
Download Fingerprint_swipe v3 https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261774266
ALT version - Incase home gesture doesn't work with the above normal version in OOS, ALT version uses Swipe right for Sleep instead of home. Later I'll try to figure if Oneplus has overrided HOME because other gesture navigation. (Home gesture reportedly work again on OOS10 Beta, so you can use first version)
Download Fingerprint_swipe v3 ALT https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261774265

You can't customize on the go. You can unzip the module zip and alter the key layout file to customise the swipe gesture values to the required one if you know the particular key value for that action.
For example, Key value for RECENTS menu = APP_SWITCH
Make sure you don't change the power button values.

Thanks for the module man. Never really got into fingerprint gestures before but how you've done it I really like as it's very functional and convenient. Have already recommended this to some people who also seem to enjoy it. Thank you:good:

Welcome.
True, this is so convenient since I started using it from nexus 6p days. One of the useful addition in Oreo.
Wow that's awesome ! Even apps on play store can't do that :good:

I unzipped the file and I found where to configure the values, but there are 8 of them. I know "Up,Down,Left,Right" but what are the other four? Also how do you know which is which. I mean which one represents Up, represents Down, represents Left....
Please forgive me if this is obvious I'm new to this process.
Works flawlessly on ob21 | op5t
Many thanks OP for this ! Works flawlessly.
Great mod and I have you rep on the other thread!
So when I'm on the home screen and finger down it shows quick settings, but when I finger up to minimize quick settings it automatically shows recents. I know that that's how you designed it but would it be possible to make it so that it closes the quick settings back first and back to home screen? Then I can finger up again to show recents. I hope my explanation isn't confusing.
Thanks

As you can see in the op post, when you want to close the quick settings use swipe left (Back) or swipe right (Home). Else I can only make a separate module with swipe up making notification close and recents action removed.
And coming to the complex action you have request where a same gesture works differently based on the current situation, its not possible in the file I modified. I need to look into other files to understand how things work.

Other values may represent something else, maybe like long pressing in camera clicks pics, long press from locked device open payment service. But am not sure yet.

Guess I'm the first to test on Oneplus 6 (9.0.2 stable). Unfortunately no luck here but thanks all the same. Willing to help test if you have any ideas
Can confirm doesn't work on OP6 OOS 9.0.2 Magisk v18
I would donate 100$ if you could make this work on 6T

This little app acts as a replacement or companion to the default systembar on tablets. It can hide and restore systembar on most Android 3.x and 4.x devices.
Also like similar apps it requires root.
Unlike "GMD Hidebar" or "Hide Bar" which are recommended for simply using the device in "Kiosk mode" this app is meant to be more like an replacement for the systembar. It provides two configurable softbuttons which can be configured in position, size, color and transparency or can be completely disabled.
Several actions can be assigned to the buttons. Each button holds up to three actions, one for short, one for long click and one for swipe above the button. Possible actions:
Nothing: Um, yeah.. this does... nothing. Not sure why I implemented this.
Go back: Acts as the known "back" button to navigate back within apps.
Go to homescreen: Shortcut to directly go to homescreen... just like at the original systembar
Show recent apps: Will show a little panel to quickly switch between recently used apps. Unfortunately the well known "swipe to kill" function of the original can't be implemented because the necessary permission is only granted to apps with systems signature.
Restore systembar: An action to quickly restore systembar. With the latest version this can also be done by notification.
Show notifications: The second most important feature of the systembar. It shows a panel displaying the notifications. It is a complete reimplementation so some features are not available for now. The basic function works well on most devices.
Open apps menu: Older apps usually display their menu-button within the systembar. This action now can open the menu for those apps.
Pie Menu: Opens a configurable Pie Menu next to the touch area. This menu can be configured individually for each event.
This free version is fully functional and should be absolutely sufficient for most users. For lazy ones like me, who don't want to manually hide'n'restore systembar each time, there is a "plus"version available which automatically hides systembar for selected apps.
Oh, and yes, the free version shows a little advertisment for the plus version once in a while... if you want to get rid of it: just click this advert three times and it won't appear again. If you didn't buy the plus version after visiting it's store entry three times you probably won't ever.

Thanks for your feedback.
The recent apps panel should be closed when tapping on back button or anywhere alse outside the panel.
Well there is indeed a issue when "short click action" is set to something else than "Go back". Then tapping on button does not hide the panel. Did you mean this? I'll fix that.
I just got a message the wallpaper-workaround does not work at all on one device.
Since the wallpaper-issue was one of my main topics I am eager to solve this.
At least me and some testers never ran into this problem: if anyone else experiences this, please drop me a line. I need to collect some information to delimit that issue.
update:
the latest version now introduces the missing Notifications Panel.
At least for me the missing access to notifications was the only reason to ever restore the original systembar. So now it nearly always stays hidden.
A little drawback: new notifications so far are only being reported by sound. My own tablet doesn't have a LED and Vibro, so I personally am not missing this.
Hope you like it!
Great little app and I would be happy to shell a couple of bucks for it, one suggestion if I may though: it seems to be the case that all those who develop this kind of on-screen button apps forget to put a feedback for when the button is being pressed (momentary change of color preferably).
Since your app seems to be of the most complete offerings I think it would be great if you were to implement it in a given future. Android devices are often no strangers to lag so a feedback of any kind (that the button was actually pressed) I think it would improve the usability by quite a lot and hopefully it is easy to be implemented too...
Again thanks for this great app, here's looking forward for future updates

Seems that those developers hardly ever imagine to operate an Android device with somthing else than their big Wurstfinger-thumbs
When I use the app I don't see the buttons since they are completely covered by my fingers. But you are right, when using eg. one of those attach-to-TV-Android-sticks which are operated by mouse and keyboard, and having systems touch sounds disabled, there is no feedback at all.. It's pretty easy to implement such optical feedback, soon to be done.
thanks for your suggestion.

Not much else to suggest -I guess- sort from allowing more actions (through the press of the buttons) but that can be done later... oh and a way to have the buttons accessible regardless of being fullscreen or not (for those who'd love to have "hot corners" at all times)... oh and a minor bug report now that we're at it: upon reboot the app gets superuser permission but does not procede to enable the service (even though I have "enable at boot" selected).
Again thanks for this great app, loving it so far
This works really well on the Nexus 7. I was using GMD gesture control and i had remapped my volume buttons so they could be used as back and home but this is much handier. I can now have my buttons back.
Many thanks
I bought the paid version.
I have been looking an app like this for a while, tried others but this is perfect for what i want.
Top job!!
The latest version includes visual feedback for button-press. I chose a not to flashy color, hope you like it. I am thinking of implementing the before suggested user-colorable buttons but this may take some time...

mhh, I could only confirm this behaviour when setting SuperSu to prompt for granting su-access to the app. Which su-Manager are you using?
Did you set your su-Manager to automatically grant access to full!screen? This is necessary because the timeout waiting for su-access is set to 10 seconds... Since full!screen uses that accessibility-service it gets loaded at very early stage... far before other apps get loaded. Depending on how long it takes to fully load the system the timeout might occur even before the su-Manager gets a chance to Display it's confirmation-dialog.

I was usuing "superuser" so maybe that was why; once I've installed superSu the issue went away and now it boots with my system I've I asked it to
As for the visual feedback it works great but it goes away a bit too soon (Google's own feedback lasts quite a bit longer when one presses -say- the home button) and also it's less than visible when one uses low opacity. I like how the color is discrete though, great choice :good:
All in all I'll recommend this to friends what a great app

installed this SnapChat on my tablet and could send and receive pictures without problems. I am just to blind to find a place to enter a comment to the picture!?
Anyway, I doubt I could do anything about another app complaining about missing systembar or something...

Anyhow, yes. Its a phone. Its my Xperia V.
I got quite a few apps tho, so it might just aswell be any other app aswell.
But I found it to good to be a coincidence when I disabled fullscreen and then it worked.
The FC still happends when I dont comment btw.
But it might be SC complaining ofcourse. But its no problem, I just added an invisible button to get the systembar back before I take pictures with SC.
Your app is the only one working properly btw. the lower left and right buttons that you've added are perfect. I can make them small and invisible wich makes it perfect. GREAT job!
Keep up the good work.
I'd like the option to have the notification bar on, but the onscreen buttons off, with just the corner buttons etc., if that makes sense. I like having the notification bar on, I think it's useful. Apologies if there is a way to do this already, I couldn't seem to find it.
It would be good if it rearranged the app icons too to fill the extra space better.
Or alternatively, I would like notification on, original onscreen buttons on but transparent with screen visible behind them, that would be a good option too, I think.
Thanks for the app though.

Unfortunately that not possible at all... at least not without patching original systemUI. Buttons bar and notifications bar are created by the same process. Disabling this process obviously means disabling both bars. I might implement an internal UI similar to the original systemUI some day. But thats at the end of a long list of wishes and suggestions I got so far, because it would take much, much work.
Re: [App][3.x][4.x] full!screen - App to hide/replace Systembar
Hi, this program is almost perfect for me, but I have a question: given that it's oriented towards tablets, ¿do you foresee any problem using it in a phone?. I've installed the free version in my Xperia T and it seems to work alright, but I want to be sure.

I was in same exact situation after upgrading to Marshmallow. The thing you used to use is called Navigation Ring Targets. Marshmallow removed this functionality in favor of long press Now on tap which I personally hate (don't ask why). So, after that, on Marshmallow I started using Greenify's "Long-press action on nav-bar" option. Just install Greenify, go to Settings, select that option and follow the steps. You'll be set plus you cal also save some precious battery life . I use Fling Nav bar available on various custom ROMs which beyond perfect if you set it up correctly.

I actually don't know about COS 13.1 but every CM based ROM or for that matter AOSP based ROM I've used, had this option. Just search for "Sound" in Settings, if it is there, you're good to go, if not, then I don't know. Even if it is there, it might not work with Greenify's screen off method.

Hi,
This Xposed module allows you to customize the alert slider's behavior in OxygenOS.
A while back, OnePlus decided to merge the framework of OxygenOS with HydrogenOS which rendered my similar application (Notification Slider) useless, at least in my opinion. The drastic internal changes made it impossible to reach the same level of customizability as before, and since the source code wasn't updated properly to reflect those changes, I sadly gave up on OxygenOS support.
Now, almost a year later I've returned to OnePlus and decided to give it another shot.
After a month of fun, but challenging work, this is the result.
Feel free to send me feature requests, or bug reports, via the Contact feature in the Info section of the app.

Haven't tested it on Oreo yet, will do so as soon as the stable OOS update arrives on the 5T. Anyway, have you made sure that the Xposed status is active, and that the module has been properly activated (and rebooted once)?
Not working on OP5T OOS 4.7.6 stock android 7.1.1. Module has been successfully loaded, but moving the slider doesn't do anything. Absolutely nothing happens, not even the original actions work.

The same thing happens here too. Nothing happens when I move the slider after installing the Module and rebooting. I'm using a OP3 and the latest Open Beta still based on Nougat. I know Open Betas are not supported but I thought I'd try anyway.
Haven't tried this yet on Oreo Beta 2 but will certainly be keeping an eye on this, thank you!

As for your request, I guess I could implement an option that allows you to select which profiles that should automatically be disabled on slider changes.
You could either use the donation button next to my avatar, or use the built-in Donation menu option. Thank you very much!

Hi,
This Xposed module allows you to customize the alert slider's behavior in OxygenOS.

Can you please tell me the steps of how you got this too work? I can't seem to find Xposed for 5t and the fix apk won't install :crying:
I am on Beta 2, rooted with Magiks.
When I get my 5T shall be coming back to this thread
Works on rooted OP5T with Oreo open beta 2.
Thank you very much. A long awaited feature
Worked on my 3T running Open Beta 15, but caused instability. I couldn't open Xposed or use Nova Launcher, so I had to delete the app.
I'm planning on updating to Oreo soon, so maybe that'll solve my stability issue. Also, I second an option to disable flashlight after changing slider position. The off screen gesture is still faster, but only if you draw it accurately. That's why I wanted to use the slider. If it doesn't turn off when you change positions, then you have to use the gesture or tap the quick setting anyway which defeats the purpose.
Other than that, it's great. This is one thing I've needed most on my 3T and not had.
Hey @Seveilith
So tried you app on OnePlus 5 running Open Beta 4 android 8.0.
App was working fine but there was this one problem:
1. On Silent(vibrate), the phone was completely on silent. Tried calling from other phone no vibration.
2. On Silent, the phone vibrated when a call came.
Have not tested this for notifications, but this happens during a call.
Thanks a lot @Seveilith for the come back of this once beloved app!
I'd like to know if there is a profile where sound can be customized (using tasker or another automation app or even the volume buttons) from vibrate to ring. Or is the OOS limitation on sound (forced on or off dependig on the chosen profile) can't be overcome?

I've noticed the issue on OxygenOS v4.7.6 as well, at least when transitioning from Silent to Silent (Vibrate). I'm currently working on a fix, and hopefully it will work on the Oreo builds as well (haven't taken a look at the Oreo source code yet).

Unfortunately, this is the result of the volume restrictions of OxygenOS. I havent decided yet, but I plan on implementing a new feature, or a standalone Xposed module, that unlocks these restrictions (e.g. by making it possible to change the ringer mode using the volume buttons).

Do tell me if you need some testing.
So, the problem started when I was typing fast, sometimes the keyboard would minimize itself. Then I realized it was only when I was near the "a" key (independent of the keyboard app). So, I got to make some tests, it turns out the screen thinks I am swiping to go back, when I'm not. Please check this video: https://youtu.be/cdg4_oJ68aM
Is there something I can do?
I'm on a Mi Mix 2s 9.5.19.0
I had this problem too. I no longer own the phone though so I'm afraid I can't help. I was wondering if it was fixed in the MIUI 10 beta but nobody has answered it so far. If anyone can chime in to say if it's fixed now would be nice, it made typing basically impossible for me.
Well, it was a display defect. I have to wait 2 weeks for the replacement part to arrive, but it's under warranty. Until then, I'll just use the on screen buttons.
It happens to me from time to time, but not sure if this is my fault. I don't understand the methodology of your test on the video (what are you pressing and when?).

It's the test module of MIUI, I'm just tapping left, right, left, right, etc, sometimes it is interpreted as a swipe between the 2 points (when a line appears). But it's pretty agressive in my display, got it checked and they are going to replace it under warranty.
So I shouldn't get any red lines when just taping right and left? I have those....
That's what happens to me and I'm getting back randomly after a few seconds of quickly taping left and right.
Where did you buy your phone?
I bought it on Aliexpress with Goldway but sending it back for a replacement is not really an option for me.

That lines get interpreted as swipes, so that's why my keyboard minimized when i was using it. If you want something more graphic you can try it on a simple drawing app (like this one), please look at the attached file. I live in Bolivia, here Xiaomi has official representation, so they come with a 15-month warranty.

So this shouldn't happen at all?
Please see image attached.
Could other users confirm that when they just tap left and right very quickly, no lines are created? Thanks!
Xiaomi now sells directly in France but I have the 8/256 version only sold in China for now anyway.
Now it happens to me from time to time to have the keybord closed with a "false" back, but not enough to really think there was an issue, I just didn't understand why it closed. Thanks for pointing that, now I'm gonna be annoyed each time.

But hey, you know what i did in the meantime? I installed XDA Gestures, configured the same gestures as MIUI, and hid the gesture pill. Voilà, you get the same but without that problem. :good: That's good for now.

You mean:
1) Put back navigation bar on MIUI, disable gesture
2) Install XDA gesture and remove the navbar, configure it as MIUI
3) ?????
4) Profit
Is that it?
There are quite some options in XDA Gesture settings, could you post a screenshot of your preferences (like the 4 screens) so I can copy them? Sorry to bother you with this!
Also instead of using the sides to swipe back, it will use the lower part of the screen only? That's how your fix works?

Here are the settings attached (the pill color is transparent), just changed the right swipe to go to last app, instead of back. Remember that to install XDA Gestures you have to use ADB from your PC/Mac, for that to work you have to enable both "USB Debugging" toggles shown in the screenshot.
Does attached mean my unit is ok?

Thanks a lot, gonna do that on monday, just waiting for my bootloader waiting period to end (I know I can to this without root or anything, but as I'll need to do it again....)
Just to confirm, this means the gestures will be at the bottom of the screen only, no back function from the edge, right ? I don't think it will bother me much if this is like that.

Seems to be fine, if you were tapping fast each side, this is perfect. I can't manage to do this without having false swipe.
Hi everyone,
I just bought the Pixel 7 Pro and rooted it. I am coming from a Oneplus 7 Pro and there are few thing I would like to change to make my phone closer to what I am used to, maybe using root or a module?
Swap back and recent buttons, I use the back button a lot more and I often use my phone with one hand which makes it hard to reach, is there a way to swap those buttons? (fixed with AOSPMods)
Show network speed in status bar, this is a great way for me to know when I am having internet issues (fixed with AOSPMods)
Change audio output device – on the oneplus I can stay connected to my bluetooth speaker but output sound from the phone's speaker just by using the menu that shows when I press the volume button, is there a way to do that here?
Is there a way to remove the widget at the top of the home page? I do not care for it
Is there a way to move the google search bar to the top of the home page screen?
Change the quick setting from internet to just wifi (I often toggle wifi on and off, having it merged with data is a pain)
Double tap to turn off on home screen (AOSPMods allowed me to have it on lock screen but not home)
Let me know if there are hidden settings or other tricks that I am missing to achieve these
Thank you!
1. You can't 2. You can't, 3. I don't know. 4 No. 5. No.
I hear you on the navigation buttons. My Samsung Galaxy S21U let me swap the back and menu buttons but it appears the Pixel does not (at least not without rooting or with a custom rom).
This drove my crazy at first, but I ended up just switching to gesture navigation and it's actually really grown on me.
As for your bottom two questions, I personally prefer Nova Launcher and I know that both are possible with Nova. I'll let others advise whether it's possible with the native Google launcher.
Root + AOSPMods (XDA thread) can enable point #2 and probably others.

I was wondering the same thing about the repositioning of the gesture buttons. Samsung allowed you to do that.

Do I need Xposed? I remember on my OP7Pro that Xposed did not pass safetynet, did that change?
It worked, with AOSPMods I was able to swap the buttons and show network speed!
Still looking for the rest and:

Double tap to turn off on home screen

LSPosed is required. Everything is system-less and I'm able to pass safetynet with the mods installed.
