Hello Z1 users.
Check out new version of Aqua Camera. The app uses proximity sensor to take photos underwater. I know that Z1 has dedicated button, but still there are many users of this app on google play, so maybe there is a reason for that
In last version I have added "fake" 16mp wide 16:9 photo size for Xperia Z1, similar to Z2. Fake, because 16mp is not supported by Z1 system, so it actually works by showing wide preview, taking 21mp photo and cropping it to wide 16. It may work little bit slower than other resolutions, that are supported by system, but still it works. Actually feature was requested by users.
Whats new in last update
v. 1.0.5 (02.03.2014)
* 4K (3840x2160 - 16:9) video resolution for Sony Xperia Z2 and Samsung Galaxy S5
* 16mp (5312x2988 - 16:9) photo resolution for Samsung Galaxy S5
* 16mp (5248x2952 - 16:9) photo resolution for Sony Xperia Z1 and Z1 Compact (crop hook)

I didn't understand your question. It just detects that your finger in front of the sensor, and waiting some time (configurable in settings) triggers capture.
You've answered my question just fine. Thanks.

Hi AGGevorgyan!
May I suggest an option to toggle the use of the proximity for either taking a photo or switching the cameras?
For example.. If a Z1 User is underwater, they have no way of switching the camera for a selfie... and then switch back to the back camera for fish photos!
What do you think of the idea?

Is there any camera hack, allowing video recording 720p 60frames per second with sound and without slow motion settings ?
Regards

Hello Guys,
Just here to share my little contribution for the Moto G. @ron580 was the person who contacted me and asked me to make the mod for this device.
Lets get to the point directly.
Disclaimer : I'm not responsible for any damages to your device. You are doing this at your own will. Higher bitrates mean better video quality but larger videos
Version 1
Code:
1) Increased the video bitrate of 720P video from 10Mbps to 20Mbps.
2) Increased the audio bitrate from 128kbps to max 156kbps.
3) Increased the JPEG quality to 100.
4) Increased the memory cap so that the video buffer doesn't get filled up.
5) Modified the apk for better color reproduction.
What is broken?
Code:
Slow motion video recording. The chipset cannot handle such high bitrates. The stock files are also given in the attachments. Flash them to get the slow motion working again.
Installation
Code:
1) If you have the camera.apk and .odex files in the /system/priv-app, move them both to your internal sd card.
2) Flash the given zip through recovery.
Sample of the difference

if you flash the stock zip he provided you lose the ability to record with higher bit rates but slow motion capture will work again.
Wow man, I saw some time ago your mods for the N5, you are really really great!! Thanks for your interest in this little big device!

Me too, but i think 720p 60 frames/second video recording with well balanced bitrate give us the best subjective improvement in the video quality and smoothness.

In this article http://www.fonearena.com/blog/89840/motorola-moto-g-review.html
I found the information : "The phone can also record slow motion videos once you enable SLO mode. It takes videos at 720p HD resolution at 60 fps and reduces the frame rate to 1/4th from the original video to 15 fps."

Sure. I sent You PM.

Great work man.
Any chances for the purple tint using flash?
Hi
Probably you have noticed that now with latest update Honor 6 plus can display the "wide aperture" photos in 3D - I love this feature!!!
As a fan of home-made 3d photos I have been using 3rd party apps to create MPO files or JPS.
I have noticed that "flat" JPG has 1MB-ish. JPG with 3d info in it is about 6x as big.
The photo still appears to be form of JPG as changing the extension to JPS or MPO does not work.
Would you have any idea how to extract the 3d photo and export them to any popular 3d photo format?
Thank you.
Hi all. Sorry for bumping the post but i really hope that somebody else is similarly excited having 3d camera in hands and similarly annoyed with lack or 3d export feature in the current firmware. Maybe somebody already found the way to export them already?

i dont think u can take stereo 3d pictures with this phone.
Yes you can. The wide aperture photos now can be displayed as 3d photos on the mobile and they do look good. Now its only a matter to export them in 3d the files are large which suggest that 3d info is there (or rather depth info) i know that honor had an applet showing different settings of aperture on www. Maybe there would be a way do do similar thing to display 3d photos on PC? Would be great
Wysłane z mojego PE-TL10 przy użyciu Tapatalka
i am huge 3d fan, but i searched a lot. its not possible i beleive. Yes the dual camera use to focus near and far objects, but a stereo 3d image cannot be produced. let me know if u find a way
I spoke with Honor directly they are not going to release any tools to do the apperture change or 3d export for pc. Our only chance is to find this www aplet they have released before which was used for honor 6 plus promotion (yellow snow scooter) as this applet allowed to change the aperture of the photo on your web browser. Unfortunately, here i would need a help from somebody more knowledgeable to try to change the applet to accept any photo from the mobile and allow for export. This is of course wide aperture on pc sorted. But having the knowledge how the depth info is being handled in the file we are step closer to 3d - i know its a lot of if's but XDA community did miracles in the past already. We are talking about only modern mobile with such tech under the hood (twin high res cameras- not main and low res support). Since there is no real alternative on the market for 3d enthusiasts i hope we will get some attention and support from the IT gurus here

Well it is minimal effect, don't like it very much. Strange because P30 should be a such photo oriented but it can't do good selfie [emoji53]. I own it a week so I am not very good at it.
