Hi
How can i swap sdcard and extsdcard for i9105p.
I alrady tried tuterials for other phones on i9105p but it breaks the phone and it needs to flash stock 4.2.2 rom again (and root again).
Thanks in advance.
(Actually one friend of mine is working on issue and i'm just asking for him. But if someone put tuterial here i'll root and give it a try later )

of course you break your phone with other phone's instructions
go to setting. storage. format sd card. then this format your external sd card.
go to setting. backup and reset. choose factory data reset and then your phone will be fresh with internal wiped. but also every setting on your phone wiped off

Of course you didn't help because he didn't ask how to wipe. He asked how to swap internal memory and sdcard. I'm also looking for script or any-thing else that can do this.
I don't think you understood what I tried to say my freind.
By swap I meant replace extsdcard by sdcard so you can have more storage to install APS for example use a 32 gig micro SD as phone's SDcard partition.
It has to do something with vold.fstab file.

And when I change it the phone won't boot and wiping partitions doesn't work cuz change was made by root access.
Does anyone have an idea how to restore original vold.fstab file without flashing ROM?cuz phone needs to be booted to restore it, but unfortunately it doesn't.

I you have backup of original file, download aroma filemanager http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646108 go to cwm and install it. It will open file manager in recovery where you can restore original vold.fstab.

does it need root access?
For example Can I paste moded vold.fstab through this file manager on a nonrooted device then if it doesn't work try another one or just restore original vold.fstab and forget about it?
Cuz I do like mod my phone but I believe root is not an answer cuz I read somewhere it have some procceses before android boots which is not cool.

I think it should work without root, all you need is cwm recovery.
I would say it needs root access and it doesn't, how?
although you can make changes on a non-rooted device but ROM itself undoes your changes so it have no use for modifying system files like vold.fstab.

that file manager doesn't show etc folder containing as well as lots of other files.
Is it same on your phone?

Currently i don't have cwm recovery, but on my previous phone i succesfully used it (it was rooted).

dude i was just trying to help you don't really needa be so mean
i actually call that partition from extsdcard and make the system to detect that partition as one part of the internal storage

Does any one have a solution to this : i used the vold.fstab file and modded my memory on my gf's miro. when i set it back to original values some error happened now im getting com.sonyericsson.usbux error and it cant detect my phone when i plug it to computer. THOUGH THE ONECLICK ROOT can detect my phone when i plug it into system and adb works. ALSO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL MEMORY IS NOT DETECTED[says 0/0 bytes in es file explorer] .. cant take photos cant play music nothing.. I tried factory reset it says no memory card inserted.. the apps already installed in phone still work but i cant save any files in whats app or download anything. If any1 has a soln plz help... NEED DETAILED STEPS PLZ.. .BRICKED THIS phone 1ce before dont want that again.
CAN ANY1 tell me how to get the phone to detect on my sytem at least??? so that i can try flashing stork or custom rom???

I have flash other room with the multirom on my nexus 5, but it can't boot, when i reboot my internal room,i found that i can't access and write my internal storange,i use root explorer to access the/legacy it is empty, strangely i can access it on cm11 in multiroom.i don't know if it is the multiroom's problem. U can't boot into Rom or u can boot into after reboot?
I personally had also some problems with multirom for some time,
which didn't let me access the internal sd card, but after reboot all was fine.
If it's compatible I can't tell u without more infos...
Did it already work? did u flash another kernel now? did u look for multirom update? .......?

I'm unable to delete files or create new ones in my internal storage/sd.
I can read files that are already there.
I'm also able to read/write from a PC
It seems that permissions are not set properly for this partition?
I want to add that this happened after I updated my S4 GT-I9500 to 5.0.1 lollipop (don't really know if it matters) then tried to fix permission to be able to write to external SD card .
after searching the forum for a solution and trying different "fixes", this is what the situation is like:
I can only write/delete when I access (/data/media/0) but not( /sdcard) , (/storage/sdcard0) , (/storage/emulated/0) or (/storage/emulated/legacy). I'm sorry if I'm being kinda noob.

you don't need to fix permissions or anything of that kind. Lollipop already allows 3rd party apps to write on SD card..
If I was you I'd just wipe everything from recovery and reflash with Odin.

The only reson I did the External storage permission fix is because some apps didn't have access to it, but now all apps have access but not to the internal memory.
I know the most obvious solution is to try to reflash a stock Rom, but I don't currently have my laptop, I'll get it back at the end of the week. So I was looking for an actual troubleshooting/fix?? Plus I kinda want to know what went wrong cuz I want to learn xD

Hello, i'm having a problem here. I have a Galaxy S5 and i am using XtroLite Lollipop Rom for quite some time now. Yesterday i decided to flash the aroma mod of it's rom so i could add the option fo multiple windows. I had done it before with the same aroma mod and it worked flawessly so i flashed and it did work, but then i noticed some errors and when i looked the explorer both of my storages (internal and external) are there but show no files inside and apparently give no access permissions, the only thing i have permission to access is the root folder. When i go to philz touch recovery i can check the files on both storages and they are there its most likely they are just not accessible. Tried to plug to a pc while on recovery but no deal. I searched google a lot but didn't find anything related, i also can use most of the apps that were installed on the phone but can't install any newer, cause of internal storage being inaccessible, and im without a terminal installed atm.
I kindly ask for some help, thanks in advance.
