Hi! I have an honor 8 bought more than 1 year ago.
The problem is that my battery never does 2h of on screen time.
I have oreo and I did a factory reset after upgrading to EMUI 8.
Do you think it's normal or there is something wrong with the battery?

I recently got a new s6 under warranty., Locked in box.

I Send the Smartphone to the warranty, Is a battery problem,
The battery swelled, unfortunately it was a hardware problem.

Now if I go to the bed with full battery, after 5 hours I got less than 95% and I fell like during the day the battery drain 15-20% more than usual.
I have adhell with like everythink blocked and no root.

I saw the same subject on sammobile, it seems that an update could correct the problem, otherwise I think seriously to change mobile

How did you get the update, OTA or Odin?
If odin what files did you flash?
I said this because i have Oreo installed (odin) and the battery drain is normal
The only way to know for sure what is going on is with a program like BBS
Hi i had battery problem for every full charged sometimes battery drop normal for 1minute 1% down. But not always, sometimes i can use 30min heavy like messaging,yt videos,and not dropping down any percent. But when i lock phone and stand by for 5minutes,i unlocked phone and see 92% where percent gone? Battery problem? My phone 3 months old. Baterry too.

I think you need to replace your battery since the device is already 3 to 4 years old. Replace it with Sony OEM battery.
I had a similar problem few months back then I replaced it and everything's fine now.

Hey , my phone 4 months just i buy new , i think go to service center and say battery problem , and changed it, but i had a reply consultant, JUST REPLACE WHEN BATTERY IS BAD , NO CHANGE AS GOOD , I want changed battery because confused and not last for 1 day of single charged, my battery died at 2 hours of full brightness and 4g is always on..

YESTERDAY WHEN I UNPLUGGED after full charged 100% was 2-3 hours stand by and not discharging after i set up full brightness and using for snapchat, and normally discharged for every 1 percent. looks good. after reboot 60% percent i see 57% AND TODAY i unplugged for full charged just locked phone and see what battery doing, i unlocked after 5-10min and see 97%

Sony stopped the Z3 production years ago. This is a already old device so the battery its having will certainly be an old one.
Which ROM are you using? stock Sony ROM? Or a custom ROM?
Download this app called AccuBattery. Use it for like 2 to 3 days go know your battery's actual capacity and let me know.
Your battery is either draining because some apps are draining your battery massively or outdated battery. There shouldn't be so much loss like in 5 to 10 mins like how you did.
Check your battery stats from that AccuBattery app and if it's bad you'll have to replace it. :good:

i sold the phone
I got a very bad battery life since I bought the OnePlus 7 Pro (1 month) and I try to reset my phone two time but it is not helpful.
My phone drops from 90% to 35% with 3h50m SoT and my last charging 13 hours ago.
Any advice/solution for this problem?
I did a thread earlier whereby I installed a replacement battery in my Mate-9 as the original had started to swell. I did it myself.
Today I notice that the recharging of the battery has become inconsistent, although I have managed for 2 months or more already with replacement battery. Sometimes it charges normally from 3-100% in 90 minutes, other times it won't charge at all. Sometimes it charges faster when turned off, other times it won't charge turned off. A full charge runs as normal for me up to 2 days usage. I cannot determine any pattern as to when it will charge or not charge. It seemed to happen after a recent Huawei system update. I'm using build 9.1.0.252 on model MHA-L29.
** Would a factory reset help at all, or is changing the battery the cause of this does anyone think - or maybe something else I could do?

This seems to have been Huawei system related for me. The poor battery recharging happened after a Huawei system update. Now Huawei has updated my system again to 9.1.0.252 (C636E7R1P8patch04) and the recharging procedure is normal again.
