i did look for a better place to post this question so if this is not the appropriate place, (mods) please move to the correct forum.
xploretech dot com/us/m60-handheld-computer/
i recently purchased this device (open box sale) and while i am extremely satisfied with it (i have the dual sim model, no mSD slot), i would like to root this device.
if anyone knows of a working method to root this device, comments are very much appreciated.
this is not a carrier branded/locked device.
edit: upon more research, this appears to be a "K-Touch M6" device custom manufactured and branded as "Xplore M60"
the device has Android version 8.0.0
edit2: contacting the company produces no positive results as they "...have very little information" about this custom manufactured product.
thank you.

Hi all,
I need to get back to a QWERTY phone, but not sure which one to buy and from where.
The criteria are:
- Android (don't care about the version)
- swappable battery (or eventually user replaceable with a bit of effort like say iphone 4s)
- decent screen size
- 4g support (going to be used in the UK).
In terms of where I can buy it, the options are Hong Kong, India, and of course the UK.
I've read quite a few of the threads, but models either need hardware mods (Photon Q), are USA only (Samsung Stratosphere), or don't support 4G (Galaxy relay). I'm sure someone out there who knows their phones has worked this out, but if not, any pointers/guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
Raj
There are 3 threads already established that are devoted to discussions about devices, please read, and if necessary, repost your question in one of these threads: The what should I buy thread or the The Device Suggestion Thread or the The Device Comparison Thread.
There are also several other discussion threads that you probably should review to help you. They are What phone do you wish you had? or
The Worst Android Device That You've Ever Had & Why or even this place that talks about The best phone you ever owned.
Please can someone help?
I'm looking for a rom for my Harrier mini from EE UK or as i found out actually is a Benq T47 and no matter hard i tried seems nowhere i can find anything for this phone. the rom the phone is using although on setting is being stated as a lollipop version is not even close as it does not look as the lollipop i have on my S4 or on my Htc, and the one the phone is having is lacking on many things. like there is no gallery, no "My files" and the settings of the phone are poor. and is shame because although that is a cheap device believe me is very good comparing it with both of my other phones.
thank you in advance anyone that will try to find to help me
Hi!
I cannot find anything relevant on XDA for your device and issue, but you can ask about it here,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
Good luck!
I bought a bell mobility ZTE Grand X 2 or z850 I can't find any information about the phone let alone how I go about rooting it.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Whenever a phone lacks a GSMArena entry, I consider that bad news. This one seems very carrier specific (as in Bell commissioned ZTE to make this phone). So I guess we're bringing back the the old days.
Well, so at a glance at the specs on the Bell website, storage is good on this phone, so that a big reason not to need root right off the bat.
My suggestion is to try some rooting methods and document your progress in a new thread here:
> General discussion > Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking
Please note, you will need to register for an account first.
If no luck, and if root is an imperative (don't see why it would based on my first glance, but YMMV), you may want to look at other phones in Bell's line-up (hopefully there's still time for the "no hard feeling's but this phone doesn't do it for me - can I exchange with this one?" expression).
If the latter is the case, you may find this thread useful in the search (cannot remember all that well, but they may have a good BYOD program - I do remember they knock down the plan cost if you bring an unlocked phone in). And if your an east-coaster (like me), Eastlink has a strong BOYD program, that uses Bell's towers.
Hope this helps.
Hi - I am new to this site and it's my first post. I am a newbie in RE: rooting Android devices. I have jailbroken iPhone's in the past but it seems that rooting is a bit more involved. Long story short, I have a lot of mobile electronics that require a rooted Android device now and I am at a loss as far as what to get and how to root. I have a few out of contract phones on the Verizon network but none are Android. I need a newer phone that has the Miracast (or cast screen) capabilities with preferably a removable battery, microSD card slot, and a microUSB connection. I went to the root section and not too many of the "newer" phones were listed. I did see the HTC 10 was listed with videos explaining all the steps and then read further in the thread to see that Verizon has somehow hidden the Bootloader (or something to that effect) and it can't be rooted at this time.
Long story short, does anyone know of a phone from Verizon that supports Miracast (or cast screen) and that can be rooted today? If not, I may have to look for an unlocked phone.
Again, I'm a newbie and unfortunately need a lot of guidance at this point but hopefully someday I will be able to assist others as I do on other forums for other things.
Any help or direction would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks. I could offer a specific device (LG V10 for example) but don't see any info regarding rooting that model (unless it's too new). Ok, I'll ask over in the other forum.
Thanks again.
this is a repeat thread of how to root LG K3 lslg450avb, the other thread was totally ignored by the snub moderator who didnt even read the question.
one more time and keep out of this thread until it gets assisted dear mod
The LG K3 LSLG450AVB is not listed on xda forums device root list and there is no documentation other than the scummy root sites that make money from it are willing to claim any phone that you search is on their list
So can some one elaborate, how do you communicate with a boot loaded in an lg device? the k3 is a 30 dollar phone so it is probabbly a switched up version of an older chipset since companies are cheap and like to reuse parts
If it matters, boost mobile, and i think all k3s use micro sim right
If some one could help that'd be great, i dont get much electrucity where i live so an unlocked machine that also gets internet would kinda help a negro out here, thx and have a nice day

Greetings and welcome to assist. Unfortunately no one has managed to achieve root for your device yet that is why there is no documentation for it. Attempts to root your device are being discussed here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/to-root-lg-k3-t3423584
unless someone manages to achieve root there is little we can do
Regards
