These AR stickers allow users to place 3D digital objects inside of their smartphone’s camera viewfinder.
This only work on Oreo.
Tested Pixel Experience ROM, work fine.
Steps.
1. Download :
API2 and cad enable : https://goo.gl/uED56S

Camera : https://goo.gl/6dJaN3 *Choose according to your taste (update), almost all support.
2. Install the modified ARCore, AR Stickers, Camera apks.
3. Reboot recovery and install api2 and cad enable.
4. Open camera.

Ya, this option only in google-camera.
And newest camera versions be able.
after first use, i face problem. camera gets dark and stickers won't work.

dark, change device camera on settings with nexus6p or other.
try one by one, becoz some versions aren't the same.
tap sticker and drag to the object.

normal camera is ok, problem only is in ar sticker. device is already 6p and changing it didn't help. but thanks for your answer.

I just had to scan the space by moving the phone around the desired place for the AR stickers to work well. Great 1-step process work.

As we all know, GCAM is not the typical app you find in the Play Store. There are no "universal settings", some phones support all features while others don't, it's stable on some phones but crashes on others, and it's updated regularly.
I created this tread to achieve, at first, two goals -
1. To recommend the GCAM that I found most stable to other RN5 Pro users. &
2. To discuss if there is a better one than this(the one I am recommending) out there.
So, I am currently on Havoc OS(Pie) and the GCAM that I use and found to be the most stable, is the one by bulkin043.

and 240 slomo doesnt work, it shows 1/8 but it records in 1/4, check it out.

Indian version doesn't support 240 fps recording which I have personally noticed and 1080 60fps is buggy in every gcam version.

Yes, it does.
Thanks, As a matter of fact, this is the only GCAM that works properly with Note5 Pro Indian Variant with Stock Pie ROM.

If you use custom roms then you might wanna try latest Havoc OS Version 2.6 [12-06-2019 build as of now]. It's inbuilt Gcam is super stable and everything works including 4k recording.
P.S. Don't worry, havoc is the best ROM for our whyred when it comes to customizations & stability.

Click a photo in the evening with camera half facing towards the sunlight and then lower the exposure to the end. And then click the picture with hdr+ turned on! Then you could see several colors on the picture.

I tried one version prior to that. But the one you mentioned should work as well. It is made for Poco f1 (I own one where it works brilliant), but holds good for 5

I have went to the website, and even with Google Translate, I can't figure out how to download anything. It looks like a good rom. So, if someone can figure out a way to get it, I would try it. I don't speak or read Turkish.

I dont read turkish but its easy to quess to hit the download link. Where you see the download symbol you click underneath it. But first you must be logged in. So create an account if you dont have one.

THAT was the problem. I couldn't get the pop-ups to translate. So, making an account wasn't an option. Anyway, I went to the Mega link and got it. Anybody running this thing yet? I mean, what is not to like with a "potato" build? If that isn't original, what is?!?!?

I'm gonna try this yet. I'm using his DOTos 3.0 at the moment. I'm gonna test this for few days and check the performance
Fatihesergg is amazing his POSP is great! Now i tests Bootleggers 4.2 also from him (today's compilation 01_07) and is totally brilliant! GCAM (hass31) front camera works in HDR+ mode - shock!

Actually it's a very good rom (Bootleggers) I was also carefully with this "beyond xda", but it's working very good. There is no reason for not giving it a chance.

I installed gcam and you have to turn off hdr mode in front cam.

Potato - simple custom set.
BL - more adv. custom set.
Need to emphasize that both roms are very good I recommend it.
PS. I with potato changed to BL but does not use all the functions so the choice is yours.

In my case, Potato works greats for all
BL Works fine, except one or two things...
Ambient display not work or maybe idk set property (No important for me, i dont link these function, but one user wonder about this)
Data connection, sometimes, at change the wifi for data connection, dont work, i need to set airplane mode at seconds and data works fine

Try either one, whichever works better:

Just install the apk, change settings and you should be good to go.

Disable auto-rotate in phone setting.
i just flashed PE rom. i ve searched the formun for a camera mod to enable 48mp or alternate app to use the full res 48mp but ididnt found anything.
is there any camera mod or app to use the full 48mp on PE rom

I have used GCam for a long time and was very happy with it. Now I bought Blackview BV9800Pro (Mediatek P70) and I've found that GCam is available for SnapDragon only ?
I love GCam so bad that I still do not want to give up so easily and I ask You:
Is there any kind of way to use GCam on Mediatek? Maybe there is some emulator or mod or anything else that would make it work?
P.S., I have stock android pie with magisk roots.
So as I suspect no one ever has successfuly installed GCam on MediaTek?

That is not true, it is not only for Snapdragon.
I know there is a version of Google Cam for Snapdragon devices and a version for Exynos.
Have you tried this for Mediatek?

The one in the tutorial is GCam v2.3, and I noticed before that it works on MediaTek. But newest GCam version is 7.3, so You know what I mean...

The google search that I suggested should still find something for you, just keep looking and read thoroughly through your search results and any information that you find. You should find something of you look deep enough. Try taking the time actually thoroughly read any threads you find, there may be useful information, you just have to read everything without skipping around or over anything, be very thorough, even if it takes a long time to read through the threads and info.
You are looking for a Gcam app that has been ported to work on other devices, not the standard Gcam app from Playstore.

Good news (mostly)! I have found the app that works. Tried all developers apps and I found that this app https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/Gcam_6.1.021_Advanced_V1.6-Fu24_5Lens-02b-A10.apk or any other which has "A10" at the end does not crash.
I am able to shot panoramic, lens blur and photosphere images. However, in camera mode no photo is taking, when I switch to video mode the app crashes. Portrait mode and nightshot also does not seem to work...

If you have custom recovery(TWRP), try booting into recovery and wipe ONLY the cache partition and dalvik cache.
If you only have stock recovery, only wipe the cache partition.
DO NOT FACTORY RESET WHILE IN RECOVERY.

Just tried this, unfortunatelly no success, nothing changed. I have stock rom + magisk and there is no twrp for it for a moment.

Well, it is hard to say without knowing what is causing the issue.
I suggest you find a thread here that discusses installing or modifying Gcam and post your questions there. Members there may be more familiar with the issues involved with getting Gcam to work on other devices. It doesn't have to be a thread for installing on Mediatek.
If you can pull a logcat, upload it to pastebin or a similar hosting site and then find a thread for installing Gcam and ask your questions there, post a link to where you uploaded your logcat in that thread also, it may help the members there to understand why it isn't working for you.

I currently have a Doogee s96 PRO (wich uses a mtk processor, the Helio G90) I was able to install it from this link, but as someone said before, NOT photo is taked at the end. Video works, panoramic & portrait mode does not work and crashes. It will be amazing to have news on it.

Same is happening with me on Helio g80 of samsung m32, I can take video, pano, sphere, time laps, but photo, portrait night mode is not working. Intresting thing is what it takes photo while taking video.
