Where is lite mode hidden in MIUI 10? - Xiaomi Redmi S2 Questions & Answers

I updated my mother's phone to MIUI 10 (stable MIUI Global 10.0 - 10.0.6.0 OEFMIFHׂׂ) in order to put her on lite mode.
I've searched and searched and can't find lite mode anywhere in the settings (and sources on the internet claim it should be there).
Please tell me where it is (before my mother drives me crazy )!

Honor 6 plus CHNC00 (China Variant) PE-TL10

Hi All,
Since I couldn't get any valuable information regarding the 6+ china variant in the honor 6 thread I've decided to open a separate one.
Problem is whatsapp notification dead after about 20-30 minutes of usage. Upon reboot the problem is fixed and I've already tried all the usual recommendations:
1. Make sure data is always on (its only whatsapp and other app's notification is working)
2. Make sure wifi data is always on even when phone is asleep
3. Trust app
4. Allow all permission to it
5. Battery saver use performance and smart both yield same results (cant disable power saver, its either performance smart or ultra)
6. Made sure it has all rights in notification manager
Model: PE-TL10
Build Number: EMUI4.0_PE-TL10_6.3.1
EMUI Version: 4.0
Android version: 6.0
Latest firmware was downloaded from here:
http://emui.huawei.com/cn/plugin.php?id=hw...=detail&mid=125
I want to downgrade back to stable version but unable to do so, and all downgrade pack is for B900 (international) version but not for my phone. Tried but didnt work.
Anyone got the patch for CHNC00 version downgrade from marshmallow to lollipop and lollipop to kitkat ? or even better if marshmallow to kitkat as the stable firmware is on kit kat.

[Question] No mobile data on custom rom with BLN-21 -> BLN-22

Hi. I recently unlocked and debranded my Honor 6x BLN-21 (European) to BLN-22 (Indian) in order to upgrade to emui 8. I'll just get to the point: I tried flashing OpenKirin's OmniRom and lineage os. Everything worked, and I mean EVERYTHING, except mobile data. I can turn it on and off but it's like it's only working on the UI side: it shows LTE under it but when I try to open the playstore or a chrome tab it's just not there.
Other details are:
- the sim is recognized, i can send messages and call.
- i can connect to wifi
- i tried manually searching for networks since it showed IWIND instead of FASTWEB, but i couldn't find it. I could only find IWIND, Vodafone, 3 and a few others... Even though in the top navbar it correctly says FASTWEB, which is my courier... So there's that.
- I'm from Italy
- I tried lineage os 17.1 (the one from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6x/development/rom-10-lineageos-17-1-honor-6x-t4064803 ) and everything worked, but since i want to install nethunter , it was incompatible so i had issues with ADB. (Note that i did NOT install nethuner on Openkirin's version of the os in order to test it)
Please does anybody know how to fix this? Is there a patch or something I missed?
Thanks.
Nobody?

Yes, it's true, especially if you are an European.
Our model (bln-l21) does not have the update to emui 8.0 unlike chinese or india.
If you want to install a custom rom on it, you need to have emui 8.0.
To do it, you must debrand it to india or chinese.
If you do it, you can no longer receive certain frequencies 3g / 4g (not the same bands in theses countries).
Never again huawei for me...

Has anyone succesufully downgraded MIUI Android 11 to MIUI Android 10?

I'm not sure if ARB protection is active as my friend wants to flash custom ROM. He's unfortunately on Android 11 so I can't risk his phone.
I've done it and nothing bad happened. Just had to format data afterwards to exit the bootloop. Went from V12.0.6.0.RJGEUXM (A11) to V12.0.7.0.QJGMIXM (A10) to be specific. The A11 one was missing a few switches in the settings menu that I use. I belive there's no Xiaomi ARB protection on POCO X3. You can also read this if you're not convinced yet.

I informed more yesterday about ARB and i thought that authorized account is something that only certified Xiaomi servicers could use. But that's not the case. Thanks for confirmation.
Did you flash a recovery / zip ROM or a fastboot one? A have just received an X3 NFC with Android 11 / MIUI 12.0.6 , and realized in 5 mins that Android 11 is not my cup of tea. It screws up my Nova + Fluid NG combo like hell - hate it.

My friend didn't flashed it yet as he has trouble with laptop recognizing Poco X3, hence no unlocked bootloader.

No worries, in the meantime flashed 12.0.8 using MiFlash - now everything runs fine.

Poco X3 NFC OTA/Recovery update problem

Hello and welcome,
i bought the poco x3 nfc Global version like a week ago and i can't update to the latest android or miui 12.5 enhanced
i tried to download the Recovery Rom but it keeps giving the the following error (can't verify update can't install this stable rom)
i tried everything from 12.0.1.0 android 11 to the latest 12.5.4.0 with no luck but i can download the 12.0.9.0 with no problems
i don't want to use the fastboot roms becasue i have to unlock my bootloader and it takes time any solutions?
Many people are facing this problem. There are only two solutions both of which are annoying.
1: Unlock BL and flash from there.
2: Service center flash through EDL mode.

Huawei 30p lite - Revert to EMUI 11 from EMUI 12

I searched a few hours in the internet to find a finite answer but there are so many old threads and old Youtube videos with dead links so I'm not really sure if there is a way or not.
A friend of mine has an Huawei p30 lite and wants to revert the last update back to the previous version of EMUI 11 instead of EMUI 12.
The phone is still on stock - no open bootloader, no root, nothing.
Is there any way to revert the last update back to Version 12 - best case without bootloader unlocking tools just be placing an older version of the firmware somewhere?
Sorry if this has been asked countless times but as I said I always only found dead links.
Thank you very much.
