Don't rush it. It's in beta state, so eventually things will get fixed and missing features added.
I'm just glad that Xiaomi pushed out beta before 2019.

Comes active by default, I swipe notifications with FP
Same happened with Mi A2
and the gestures were added back later

Nope it actually works by default... No need to activate it and yes it's official pie installed by VPN trick
The setting option page is not there. if you search "swipe" in settings, you,ll find the link to setting page, but the page is empty.
so if you have done a dirty flash or OTA, and the swipe was enabled already, it will keep working. if you clean install, it would be disabled.
they will bring it back on next update. hopefully
btw this has already been reported and discussed in two other topics.

Sorry for stupid question. But are these all customizations available ?
Because a lot of Oreo ROMs not merged or added their customizations yet (at least for this device). They are all available in Nougat but Oreo ones are lack of these options. When you tap, some options showing empty/nothing while some options exist.

Every customization features are there available and working. Nothing empty as like other ROM I'm also using this ROM in my device. Otherwise it's all depend on you.

Right now trying to copy my files to pc and format my device. hopefully this works... If not i have a clean device anyway xd

After an hour i just booted with new setup.. And i can say it worked so now i have a clean device and this rom... encryption complicated but yeah
Pls fix this encryption at boot , i don't have laptop to copy all files and reset fully

Just format your phone Internal storage wipe it but please make it backup of your internal storage before doing format ( Don't and never format External storage SD Card ) from your recovery twrp or redwolf latest version.

For gcams, install magisk module Camera2 Enabler, then install THIS Gcam port made specific for Mix 3, Pocophone, Mi 8.
You'll get perfect Mix 3 running Lineage with excellent photo quality, along with stock-like gesture.

Its poco launcher by xiaomi, basically stock launcher with some customization.

Is it even possible for a version with CAF kernel to become official? This breaks compatibility with official TWRP and stock recovery. And it requires flashing dtbo.img via fastboot, where usually (for official LOS versions) installing the zip via TWRP is enough.

Yes, it is possible. I've been shipping CAF kernels since msm8992. Shipping it in the current state is also possible, but I plan on fixing compatibility.

If you have an issue then grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. This is the best way to report bugs

Received and installed the update in about an hour ago. Everything is fine so far, booted up good and running.

Gesture navigation not working on any 3rd party launcher, only on custom roms
I didn't have to reset, just upgraded from pie. So many of my apps complained about being old (target very too old). At least it's a one-time nag.
Just updated ewrring ok for now,and new gesture work only with default launcher? and customise your pixel ?

Performance & battery for me is kinda same. Around 7-8h SOT. Sometimes I have graphical glitches (random colored boxes, drawer slider rolling out of screen, dock randomly changing size)
Face unlock has been removed with Android 10 update.
Overall it's a lazy update and still buggy and every Android update has less and less features...
No dt2w , no dt2s, no lift to wake, no flip to silence, no face unlock...
MIUI OS has all these features on my other phone by default...

I have never had any problems with those.
The phone drops 1-2% for 8 hours during the night. Wifi always on, 150+ apps.
Proximity sensor works perfectly.

for about 3 months now after upgrading to MIUI 14 I am missing the music controls on the lock screen. (Stop music/next song/back)
I did everything possible: turned on all notification and gave permissions for all to YouTube Music .
nothing solved my problem, I even sent youtube developers an email (still no response), I deleted the app and installed again, I tried installing the app from older APKs from different sources .
Anyone having this issue ? I am close to selling the device for this disability .

These roms have play store certified.
I've been using them for many years with no problems.
My banking application as well as the means of payment require double authorization, in particular my fingerprint and it works perfectly.
If you want to be certain register on the site and ask the specific question to your apps.
