Help with bypassing FRP on Galaxy S7 - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hi all,
this is my first post on this forum, I have used XDA many times for various reasons but never had to register because I always found a solution... until now.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930F, non sim locked. This phone used to be my fathers phone, he now has a new phone but he couldn't remember his password from his old Gmail account. He wants to give the phone to his wife, but he has reset the phone without disabling 'find my phone' and now his wife can't access the phone because of FRP lock.
I have done extensive searches and found multiple 'solutions' on how to bypass FRP but none of them has worked so far. That's where I need help.
As I've mentioned before, it's a Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930F, unlocked sim version. It's a device that's made for the Dutch market. As far as I know the phone has been properly updated till two months ago, it has Android Oreo but not sure which security update, it definitely doesn't have the 2018 november update.
Can somebody help me with finding the proper bootloader etc so I can flash the device and my fathers wife can use the phone? That would be much appreciated.
tnx in advance!

Tell him to just reset his password, and log into it then

Of course we've tried it, but with no phonenumber or secondary email attached that's impossible.
Beside that, he wasn't even sure about the account used, has multiple gmail accounts that he doesn't use anymore.
But I've had help through a user who send me a PM, phone is working again.

I have a SM-G930T Galaxy S7 that I can't figure out also.. Seems G**gle has a way of keeping it's security patches installed. I downgraded it to 7.0 succesfully but Odin fails while downgrading to 6.0.1. I was able to bypass my j7 after 3 days of trying various methods till I came up with my own combination. But this S7 has me ready to pay someone else to do it for me. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

[Completed] Keep root or disable FRP after root? Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920P

Hey so I was wondering if I could keep my root after installing the default os or something similar.
So I rooted my phone with a custom OS and it worked all fine. I then logged into my google account and worked fine. I restarted my phone and then at the top it just says Custom Binary blocked by FRP.
I have fixed it so I can use it but I was wondering if I could root it and then remove it somehow? That was the only issue I was having when I did that. Rooting worked and everything just I need to know a way to either delete FRP or Get around it where I won't see it again. Hopefully this makes some sense.
Android Version: 6.0.1
Model Number: SM-G920P
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S6
If you need anymore info let me know.

Greetings and welcome to assist. This is for the edge variant but the principal is the same, you need to turn off OEM lock

S7 edge current situation.

Hi there I've been away from rooting for a bit and i have been trying to root a broken s7 edge more recently. Its got 6.0.1 stock on it. It all works except the volume up button. I seem to be able to access the phones files and sd card in windows. I can also flash 6.0.1 it seems by forcing it into download mode. But its still stuck on FRP and i can't find any way to unlock the bootloader to install custom software. I've been trying all the tutorials i can find but none work. Is this Samsung patching these security holes and so they no longer work? The password Is unknown for the Google account and it's not blacklisted or anything like that I've not used the SIM in any tutorial though. So is this doable or is it impossible at present? It all seems a lot more secure since my last root :s Thanks

Try this for bypassing Factory Reset Protection(FRP)
https://www.progeeksblog.com/bypass-factory-reset-protection-on-samsung-devices/
Or this
https://www.xda-developers.com/rootjunky/
As for rooting the device, there aren't many methods that work on lollipop and newer firmwares other than maybe trying Kingroot and Kingoroot or flashing TWRP(not an option for you since you have a locked bootloader) for your model number then flashing Super or Magisk.

master reset code

Hey i have a Canadian Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930W8 model and when i bought it second hand buddy did not remove his google& Samsung account which is preventing me from having my OWN phone and i want to factory reset it and cannot do it through the setting (powered on) and in recovery it says that it will require the Google account that is currently on the phone be signed into once the reset is complete stupid FRP protection. I found the Samsung master reset code online and im hoping that will work but wanted to ask the community before i tried just to be safe. Please any helped is greatly appreciated thanks.
ALSO its running the july 1 2018 security patch and android 8.0 ored
The only way to get past FRP is the google account or an FRP bypass exploit which are all patched in Oreo.
Take it back to the seller and get them to unlock it for you.
Its not lock i have full access i am trying to get rid of his Samsung & google account if i could root it i could get it but cant seem to find a rooting method for this phone ..... Im not locked out of it i have 100% access just need his account removed
G930W8 is Exynos, so you should just be able to flash TWRP and then flash a root zip. But if you factory reset its going to lock down. https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/development/recovery-official-twrp-herolte-t3333770
Downgrading to marshmallow and using a bypass method (even though it's not locked, bypass lets you change the google account) may be your best bet.
Ok so downgrade to 6.0? And then find a frp unlock for marshmallow and then i dont kno how to run the bypass never had a phone with this nonsense ..... As for the root method which root file would i have to get i could then have my brother write a snippet like the old "remove gapps\knox\samsung apps" i doubt the old one i have would even work lol
Lookup FRP bypasses on youtube, there's many methods and at least once will work - it's not a simple process however.
In that TWRP thread I linked is the Super SU flashable zip, or Magisk would be the best root methods.

Samsungs Galaxy S7 need to flash older Android (FRP) but download mode not working

Hi at all,
so I bought this samsung phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 SM-G930F) for my mom online, but there is an android account lock on it. Previous owner not reachable and so now I'm stuck with this phone.
I tried a lot of "FRP/Google Lock Bypass" videos, but it seems this phone has the newest android version so non of them work.
Types of bypasses I've tried:
- notification bypass
- SIM-Card insert/eject and power on/off
- specialized FRP software
none worked.
Now my next move would be to try to flash a custom ROM in order to flash an older android version, which would hopefully make one of the above mentioned FRP methods work.
BUT for some reason I cant't enter download mode, which is as I understood essential to flash anything on the phone.
The only mode I can enter is recovery mode. There I already tried factory reset, which did work, but did not solve my Android Lock /FRP problem.
Now ...... any clue what I can do to finaly make a use of my money that I spend on this phone?
Thansk in advance for every bit of help

Which phone do you have? If it is a Snapdragon version with updated software, you can't flash custom ROMs due to the locked bootloader.

Please help Unlock Pattern on Samsung Galaxy J3 Orbit (Knox)

Hello XDA!
I am posting this in hopes that you can help me with something very important to me.
on 07/07/2020, my 17 year old son died. Of course we are very upset, however, now comes the time that we can get up and try to get some things done.
For more information, please feel free to google: Devin Blaze Nicewicz or click here for his obituary page.
He has left us a phone. It's a tracfone, unmodified, nothing unlocked and no usb debugging. The phone is locked with pattern which we don't know. I also do not know what email he has on the phone so I can't contact google. I tried and they would not help.
I am trying to unlock the phone so I can download everything from his phone as well as media accounts, and hopefully retreave all his logins and passwords.
I tried multiple apps like DrFone and other apps but all want to erase everything. I would also like to make a copy of the entire OS just in case.
