Didn't try to set any until I read your post. Any custom color option under status bar, lockscreen, and navbar in uber settings causes a FC.

Right. Not just me then...
Thanks.
Been looking for a new rom to use as my dashboard in the car. Been having troubles with keeping up charging while used as torque display and dashcam. Have tried several different rooms and kernels, will see how this one does. I like the customization so far and seems to be very responsive. Thanks

EAS support? Or I'm misreading?
It'd be nice if you had actually credited the creator and lead developer of the ROM @joshuous who has spent months upon months of his time into the base ROM. Also, where exactly have you found an EAS kernel for this phone? The EAS kernel that Renderbroken and Joshuous made for Vertex is for the OnePlus 3 only..
Well a great rom cool . but don't u think it would be great if we had this on oreo.?? I mean everyone's rushing for oreo devs even got everything fixed so i think you should go for oreo
You should overthink the feature list!
Because there are things like DASH-charging which are not usable in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4...
This thread is just copy paste from OnePlus 3 forums. EAS? Dash Charging? Oh my eyes ????

[KERNEL][Mido] FrancoKernel ⚡️- r21 - 27th Aug - custom roms, Pie and treble

Hi all.
Compatibility:
Builds starting with r1 are for Lineage OS 14.1 based roms.
Builds starting with r2 up to r6 are compatible with Android Oreo 8.1.0 roms.
Builds starting with r7 are only for Android 8.1.0 and 9.0.0 treble builds.
Download:
https://francokernel.app
Installation:
Flash the zip in your recovery
or
Auto-flash from Franco Kernel Updater app
Features:
1 - Legendary battery life
2 - Flash & forget
3 - Typical interfaces like display adjustments, sound control, vibration control, and all that boring stuff
4 - Bypasses the verified boot flag for Android Pay compatibility (root still breaks Android Pay but that's your own problem)
5 - Idle power consumption reduced to the absolute minimum (if you have wakelocks from 3rd party apps you're obviously on your own)
6 - Support for FKUpdater's Performance Profiles
7 - Magical support, I'm here every day, checking posts almost hourly, ready to help anytime (well, unless you fail to read the OP, which contains most info you need)
8 - Seemless integration with my app FKUpdater
9 - No useless placebo patches, or "magical" optimizations
10 - Probably more, check my github for all the details - the code speaks for itself

And will magisk root persist after fk updated by the app ?
Thanks franco. will test it and give reports soon.
Any chance this kernel has the USB HID support patches (https://github.com/pelya/android-keyboard-gadget)?

Evervolv is completely new for me although it seems its history is going back to even 2013..... I only see one build at androidfilehost at the moment and website also not very up to date either.
Therefore my question; what can we expect?
Do we get daily, weekly, monthly updates and what are the key benefits of Evervolv?
Nice to see that op3 is still not forgotten btw, still a beast :good:

Thanks for this excellent ROM, @elginsk8r!
Would you consider adding support for passing Safetynet out of the box (without stuff like Magisk) in the future? I believe it has something to do with the kernel reporting the bootloader as unlocked.

This might be a little too aligned with power saving. I came from Candy kernel, and this kernel in comparison doesn't even register touches at times. It's also quite sluggish.
I like the idea though.
