Casio IT-G500 - Android General

Hi Android-Experts!
I am sure that I am not the first one looking for something like this but so far my search has come up with nothing...
We have a number of handheld devices - Casio IT-G500 to be precise - running Windows Embedded Compact 7. Obviously it makes little sense to develop (new) Windows Embedded Compact 7 applications these days. However, simply abandoning this perfectly good hardware, especially since a similar device (Honeywell CN51) has been provided with Android 6.0 Marshmallow by the manufacturer, would be such a waste.
So I would be very glad if anyone could point me to resources on how to flash (if possible) such a device with Android. Of course, I am aware that several features (such as the hardware barcode scanner) might prove to be insurmountable obstacles.
Thank you very much!
Casio IT-G500 provided with Android 6.0 Marshmallow by Honeywell:

4,3” Touch-Display (WVGA: 480 x 800 Pixel)

Bluetooth
5 MP Camera
Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7
Honeywell CN51 specifications:
Texas Instruments 1.5 GHz OMAP 4470 dual core
4" Touch-Display (WVGA: 480 x 800 Pixel)
WLAN IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n
Bluetooth
5 MP Camera

One word.... WOW I like it! .... alot!
phamoui, what is your source? None of the sites I have read mention OS as Windows Mobile 6.0.
Hrmm this seems to have pretty similar specs to the G-Smart 200, which is coincidentally being released at the same time, although the G-Smart seems to pack tv-capabilities into the mix. Personally I think the gigabyte one looks a hell of alot better but nice to see pda phones getting the powerful features they deserve.
Could not make out from the picture wheher or not it has a sliding keybooard. Any information on this?
Regards

I has just get a view of here and find many people are search for their first Android tablet. Here I just show you my first android tablet. All the price and function are both perfect.
I'm proud to recommend an 8'' android mid--Cortex A8 1.2GHz, 1080p HD, support 2G/3G Call & SMS.
This tablet has just released by Giayee Shenzhen, also is my first android mid. I choose this mid Just for the 2G/3G Call&SMS supported and powerful 1080p HD video play capability. What's more the price is low.
Also RK2918 can reach up to 1.2GHz insure the system running smoothly, and support all kinds of Android Apps.
RK29′s 3D graphic chip is Vivante GC800, said it is second only to the PV210 integrated SGX540 and even stronger than AMLogic’s Mali400. I experienced several games there, difficult to distinguish it. In fact, the performance of each chip is same.
The main feature is as follow:

[Q] Possible to install Windows Embedded 8/Windows RT on Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5110?

Hi
I'm thinking about if it would be possible to put any ARM Version of Windows Embedded 8 / Embedded Compact 2013 / Windows RT on my Galaxy Tab 2. I love Android, but sometimes i want to try something new and I know even when it's Windows it won't run normal Windows x86 Applications.
...The specs of the OMAP4430 Chipset:
Processor:
TI’s OMAP4430 applications processor (dual ARM® Cortex™-A9 cores running at 1 GHz each)
Graphics Accelerator – PowerVR SGX540 3D hardware accelerator
Video Performance – 720p stereoscopic 3D
Multimedia Accelerator – IVA 3 (1080p encode/decode)
Imaging Performance – 20 MP/s and 5 MP/s (dual cameras)
Memory:
up to 1 GB LPDDR2 RAM
Other I/O
1x USB 2.0 High-Speed Host
1x OTG
1x ULPI for connectivity to an external USB Phy
4x UARTS / 1 x RS-232
3x I2C / 1x I2S / 2x SPI
Operating Systems – Linux, Windows Embedded Compact 7, Android-ready
The Device itself has following specs:
PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
Size 800 x 1280 pixels, 10.1 inches (~149 ppi pixel density)
16 GB internal storage
1 GB LPDDR2 RAM
WiFi (can't find any infos about it)
I have access to Windows Embedded from Microsoft DreamSpark, but i think they're only the x86 versions. Are there any chances to get Windows running on this tablet or is this simply not possible because of the bootloader or other limitations (like partitions, drivers etc..)?
If Windows RT can run on an old HTC HD2, why not on a tablet with a bit better specifications? (yes, i know the HTC HD2 was a Windows Mobile Device

There is no possible way to install any version of Windows on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. Windows is not open-source and can not be manipulated in such a way so it can install on any Android based devices. If they were to open the source code, I'm sure within a week or two it would be available, but I'm afraid it's under the control of Microsoft for now.
Sorry..
-RespawnedEvil
Okay i understand
Then I'll have to keep this tablet with Android, but there are ARM-Versions of Ubuntu and other Linux Distributions, should be able to install this native to the flash storage without running android in foreground and connecting to the Linux using VNC, but the problem should be that i have to find drivers for every single device like WiFi, touchscreen, etc.

[Completed] What model Asus is this? Any roms for this overseas rebranded device?

UPDATE - CPUz app said it was a dual core ARM CORTEX-A9 1.5 GHz, revision r3p0
Galaxy tab 3 has the same processor
Asus memo pad has it, but 4 core
Hello all,
I was in thailand and my phone died so I got a cheap $45 tablet to use whatsapp to talk to family and friends. I read asus makes the devices - I'm assuming that someone made this tablet for the company that sold it and that it's a little better than a cheap Chinese tablet quality bc it has had no issues and seems pretty good and was offered by a respected phone company over there. I wanted to upgrade to a newer Rom >4.2, now that I am back in the states.
1.) I had an adnroid stick PC and it seemed like the sticks where all the same chipset and then had roms you could load on them regardless of their brand. Are there universal roms I could look into.
2.) I'm not sure how hard it would be to make a CM rom for this device , but I did see that they have a link to create a build.
I'm going to try one-click, Kingo root, king root, etc to see if I can unlock it so I can turn off the telephony.apk and phone.apk since this one did not have a sim card and was wifi only. The manuf didn't delete those apps so they keep draining the battery looking for service.
Your help is appreciated and thanks in advance!
