Is anyone else having this issue, where you can barely see the first thing in settings search?
I guess this is a notch issue and it happens in other apps as well.
Also is there a solution if an app is cut at the bottom and you cannot see everything?
Regars
I have the same problem even after updating to MIU10

Everytime I try to use Opera it starts to zoom in and out on its own, has anyone else had this issue? or know a way to make it stop? It was fine for a week now all of a sudden it's gone crazy.
you touching the scroll wheel thingy? that makes it zoom
Nope I'm making sure I'm not
I went and got the phone replaced so issue sort of solved
Using JellyBean DS 1.7 -- on the slide, dont know when this exactly stared occurring (as it seemed to be ok after i just installed the rom), i see that there is some sort of cyanogen-mod "phone update" thing, which runs on occasion and think it might have broken something. as i really cant get a gps fix, and at this point dont know how to proceed - is it a hw issue or something in the rom or some sort of update issue?
In maps i see the blue triangle but its always surrounded by a big blue circle, and don't know if its some update but I cant use navigation anymore...
Is there some way to reset the GPS in the device?
Anyone seen this issue or know of a fix?

Try GPS Status.
You should see sattelites as green marks on the radar and the bar underneath.
Somehow my gps got broken, and the device can't see any of them. I guess my case is a HW issue as the same thing happens when I tried to roll back to an earlier ROM.
If I put the phone into landscape mode, with the system bar on the left side, it doesn't register touches along the left edge. If I switch it around, it works fine. If the system bar is hidden, touches in that same spot are registered fine. Can anyone else replicate this issue?

I can't replicate it. Sounds possibly like a hardware issue. Have you tried a reboot, hard reset, or seeing if an app is causing the issue?
I couldn't replicate this problem. Works fine with mine. Perhaps you are using an app that disables it?
Sent from my Pixel using XDA-Developers mobile app
It happens in every app, but I guess some rogue app could be interfering with it. I'll see if I can track it down if that's the problem. I really don't think it's a hardware issue, because it registers touches on that part of the screen in all other scenarios.
I've had no luck finding any app that could be causing this, still happens even when I restart in safe mode. Am I really the only one seeing this problem?
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open YouTube
2. Rotate device so the system bar is on the left side
3. Try to tap the left half of the back button
Just wondering if anyone else has this problem with the new youtube update which breaks the Fit To Screen issue. Instead of stretching the video both horizontally and vertically, it's only doing it vertically. This is a rather annoying problem, anyone have a fix for this aside from uninstalling updates?

I to have had this problem. Very annoying. I jus uninstalled the latest version.
Same issue. Just in settings back to default version and disable auto update
Anyone else having the problem that only a black screen appears when Rez Infinite is started? The middle indicator for the Daydream is visible, also the "X" on the upper left and the settings gear on the upper right, but nothing else is happening. It doesn't matter how I installed it (Playstore or within Daydream), how I start it. I have tried rebooting, deleting app data from all involved apps, nothing helps. What I haven't tried so far is a factory reset, and downgrading to Android 8.0. In the Playstore there are two reviews which describe the exact same behaviour on the Pixel 2 with Android 8.1.0, so it might be a problem with this constellation. Several other VR apps work fine, I haven't found another VR app that does nothing but a black screen so far (tried a handful).
This is really a bummer, I basically only bought the Daydream for Rez Infinite...
Hi kendong2! Yes, I have the same problem wit Rez. Also happens to me with Darknet and a few other daydream apps. I'm on a Pixel XL though. Also latest official 8.1. And I'm also really looking forward to a fix for this. Anybody else experiencing similar issues? Or maybe someone already has a solution or we can figure it out?
Hello again. I just came back to report that the game is working now. I did a fresh install of Android P DP2 when it came out and decided to give it another shot last night and it worked.
