Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on Ground Zero Open Source Project (GZOSP) and brings custom features with the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of "Making you feel like 家".

A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.
Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.
Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.

How do I get an application to appear in full screen and not cut? Spotify for example. Change DPI and present that bug. In MIUI there is the option to change it.

Everything works fine and I have not found any problem​But need some minor modifications (It's just suggestions)
1- When I download an app from the Google Play store I do not see the download progress in the status bar
2- When I receive a message the phone vibrate with the tone I do not want it but there are no option in the settings to disable it
3- You should disable the animation when you unlock the screen that will make the screen unlock looks so much faster an fingerprint too (i do not know how to do that manually)
4- the dpi settings need to be 392 as default like the miui
5- I did not like default font . I want android Pie default font but i can not find it
6- i want android pie navigation bar like the one in the pixel expires rom
7- the gestures is so greet but it is very annoying and you need to swipe on the last part of the end of the screen to make it work you have to make the area for swiping little bit bigger or make it an option in the settings can be modified by the user
8- force app to work in full screen mode
9- It would be nice to translate the (Bootleg Dumpster) settings into Arabic

it works fine for me

ROM is pretty smooth and stable.. there was some glitches.. in previous build.. but I guess those are resolved in this one.. in call volume is perfect now.. which was very low in previous build.. I am on build 21-01-19.. good job.. keep it up..
Could not get safety net ststus pass in Magisk.. am I the only one.. or doing something wrong.. or the permissive status is..??

It's built by 2 diff devs so there might be some performance, battery or stability difference, and it's not recommended to dirty flash, it might work, but lots of features might be broken

i was tried to run gcam on front camera in this build, but the picture i took is black, in my setup gcam patch already installed, and i also did any work arround i to get that stuff working with changing the kernel, but the problem still there. unlike in the official build (02/23) everything works perfect without any issues (im just change the kernel to make it works)

Found a bug. It is consistent accross all the builds that I've tried.
BUG:
Upon reboot the Music Content Provider database loses a lot of the stored data so only some of the music on my phone are displayed in music apps that rely on the content provider.
FIX:
Fix has always been to go into App Settings and find MediaStorage and clear its storage. Then use a MediaScanner app to rescan the files on my phone.
Note:
Issue only seems to affect the Audio Content Provider. Not the others.

That feature is not present in this ROM.

screen flickers while playing PUPG

No remapping of the hardware keys. Screen switching off during operations. Terrible boot animation. Stopped testing already having discovered the first issue.

To be frank I'm really satisfied with this ROM
Battery backup is the best?
No heat issues
Good RAM management (most of the apps stayed loaded in background and I love it)?,
Not a gamer so haven't tried any games on it,
I don't believe much in bench-marking but it got a decent 58k+ in Antutu.
Google drive is working
Bootanimation is dope ?❤
Cons:
Little buggy here and there
Dt2w in settings is not working (maybe because kernel does not support it,Wake option is not available in kernel adiutor)
Screen brightness need calibration
Each time when I restart the device the sim for data is changing back to the sim 1
anyway nice work developer ?
NB:Haven't tried device's FM radio 'cause FM signal reception is poor in my area (even for hardware FM radio sed life? )

update: Found a bug in battery section,both graph and 'last full charge' gets reset after rebooting

Thanks for the review.
About issues you are facing :
• Dt2w drains some amount of battery so decided not to add.
• I'll see what I can with that Screen brightness and sim reset issue.
• No need to be sad ,FM works fine

Great ROM so far. Battery backup is really great, as mentioned above!
No laggs dedectet for me (Non-Gamer). Very smooth UI.
FM-Radio is working and saving radio-stations also.
Remapping of SW-buttons would be nice. :good:
Btw.: I love the bootanimation!

What type of camera apps its use?

Please change the volte icon in the status bar like the stock one as it takes more space in the status bar.

So far so good. Hope you could fix the glitches when using face filter like on Facebook messenger. Not sure if logs could capture it but please see attachment.

Was wondering as well. It's a good ROM. Hopefully it wasn't abandoned.

Was testing out different ROMs and stumbled upon this one. All features that I wanted exist + more! Like, same features exist in other ROMs but the difference here is they actually work on ROM, unlike others! (Network Traffic on Status Bar, Hold Power to activate torch, Status Bar Icon Padding, etc.) I just wish it would also have the option of System Theme changing from light to dark based on system time. Otherwise, the ROM is perfect!

All good but for some reason after it hits 15% the theme will go on Dark Mode but once fully charged the theme won't go back to Light Theme even after reboot. Anyone have the same problem? I did clean flash BTW.
Other than that it's all good. With Pie already out hope the camera will totally fixed as some photos don't save and just use one camera for both Back and Front.
