Nokia 7 Plus displays silent notifications despite of the active profile - Nokia 7 Plus Guides, News, & Discussion

Hello friends,
I am facing a weird issue after stable upgrade to 9.0,
My mobile randomly turns the sound off for the new notifications , even when the profile is in loud mode.
Still the device sounds out loud for incoming phone calls but notifications were muted.
I have tried all sorts of tinkering under the Notifications & Sounds and nothing works other than rebooting the device.
I am in October 2018 Patch , with android 9.0. This happens once in 3 days ,
Even I tried hard reset but it doesn't helped me.

I have the same problem.

Notification sounds stop working randomly - pixel XL android 8.1

So this just started a few days ago, I noticed that the notification sounds stopped working. Locking the phone stops making a sound and all notifications are silent. Watching videos and incoming calls are audible however.
A reboot fixes the issue, but it returns soon after.
I didn't install any new apps recently. Updated some, but nothing new.
Any ideas?
I have the exact same problem!

Vibration issues on my Huawei watch 2

Hello everyone
I noticed that I'm having vibration issues with phone calls
Sometimes when I'm receiving a call the watch is vibrating in a pulse method
Different times it's vibrating once only
And lastly few times not vibrating at all
I tried restarting the watch but nothing has changed
Any idea how to solve this issue
I want it to vibrate in a pulse method for calls (not once)

I found a solution: I have the Huawei Watch 2.. and I noticed that I missed calls. So this really annoyed me as the watch only vibrated once.. of course it vibrates for other things and it is easy to just ignore it. It is a very poor implementation from Huawei ( amongst others). I struggled to find a solution from the watch itself. Wear OS is also utterly useless. It is just a mess.
=> the solution I found which works is to install this app from the google play store. It is free: Feel The Wear - Notifications TTS..install it both on the phone and the watch. Then go on the phone and set it to vibrate long for phone calls. Also in the beginning give it the permissions from the phone( toggle the permission on for this app), menu is given in the app itself when you open it. Thats it.. Tested..works.

Low notifications volume

Hello guys, I have my Nokia 7 Plus since yesterday, and the first problem occurred.
When the phone rings it is so loud, but when I receive notifications of any kind (Viber, Whatsapp, SMS) it is so low, almost impossible to hear on the street (even on the max ring volume).
I know there is no way to separate the volume of ring and notifications on the official 8.1.0, but can you recommend some workaround for this at the moment?
Thanks
I noticed this too.
if you put on the volume down or up there is a pop-up on the screen.
On the right side is a arrow.
click on the arrow en the pop-up fold out.
Now you can change the ring volume and the notifications volume.
If I press the volume hardware buttons and then tap the arow down to drop the sliders menu I only get 3 sliders; Media, Phone and Alarm.
This is verry annoying, I allways miss my texts and whatapps.
I contacted Nokia customer care, there they tell you to reset data and cache of messages, whatsapp and the settings app, then do a softreset on your phone. DON'T do this.
It only results in having to set every ringtone and notification sound back to your preferences and the problem still remains.
Anybody with a solution?
Maybe in the Android 9 Pie update?
Btw, still running Android 8.1 in Belgium.
I have tried Pie but the problem remains. Even on max volume Viber and SMS sound is so quiet.
What I have done is I have downloaded louder ringtones from Zedge and now I use them.
I don't understand why this problem is present, even more because our Nokia has such a loud sound...

Ringer and notification sound problem

Hello,
Some time ago I bought a Mi Note 10 and I'm happy with this phone overall. Recently, by the way, I noticed a problem: sometimes the phone put all ring and notifications sound at zero, without any interaction by the user. So I miss calls and messages. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Can anyone suggest me a solution? Thanks in advance!
My best,
Fabrizio
Incoming call sound
Hello. I have a problem with my Xiaomi mi note 10. When i have incoming calls the phone just vibrating, but does not have any sound. When i getting sms, messenger calls, notifications everything ok. I tried to put music on every number, tried to make SIM sound but nothing works. I dont hear when someone calls to me. Is it problem with my phone or just settings?
I had the same. Despite everything correctly allowed and set there was no sound for incoming SMS. However I had downloaded a different messaging app from PlayStore. When In reverted to the stock app, the sound worked. I don't think Xiaomi likes other apps although I didn't have the problem on my other Xiaomi phone. Look for setting to allow other apps or revert to stock app meanwhile. UPDATE: I uninstalled and then reinstalled the new messaging app and the notification sound worked.

ringing sound and vibration problem after android 11 update

Hi, after the android 11 update on my huawei mate 20, the phone lost ringing sound and vibration if the display is turned on or if you are in-app. Is this intentional? It seems that you dont need sound when you watch your phone, but there is only a very small notification window popping with green and red handset and i miss it very often if i watch a movie or something, there is no vibration or sound. Sometimes i leave my phone in app to listen to music and i find 10 missed calls.
