Do any of you have a Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitor (GCM) and if so, have you developed a Fit2 Pro watch face to display BG? I've got a "kluge" working involving Nightwatch and persistent notifications, but I'd prefer something a little more "professional". I've never developed an app, and don't think I want to start with this one.
Thanks!

Hi,
I am trying to make a Gear 2 watchface with a Disney character on it. I use a drawing of the character on the watchface.
Unfortunately, my app is rejected by Samsung Apps, because of "Copyrighted material".
Is there a workaround for this type of situation ? Shall we never have the chance of seeing such apps on our "Gear 2" ?
In fact, this should not be specific to Gear 2 Apps, I believe, same rule applies to Android apps, at least the apps on Samsung Apps.
What can I do ? Would it matter if I draw it myself and make a serious mistake to say that this is not the correct character ?

Why dont' you make a Disney watch face with Watch Styler and publish it on Gearfaces.com
Gear users can use that watch face with the Watch Styler and/or Multi-Watch Gear app.
there are already a few others:
Mickey watch faces
But my watchface is a standalone app with other features (digital clock and date with weekdays, battery & bluetooth status)
I am also planning to develop it with additional features like weather & location information etc.
so it's not just a design for Watch Styler.

Ok, then I don't know a way to get around the Samsung Copyright police...
Maybe just try again, another tester might not notice it.
My experience is that they don't really have a structured way of testing.
They might find a problem one day, but miss ten others.
But be carefull, if you violate the copyright laws too often they might block/remove your account completly.
Why don't you make you own nice unique design for the watch face, then you'll have your own copyright?
Hello worldxda!
I've finally received my Frontier and I've been playing around with it for a few days. I'm useless with analogue watch faces, and I need two different time zones displayed at the same time due to work. The Gear Dashboard is almost perfect with world time, battery, and heartrate around the main clock. However, I'm sorely lacking a Date option in place of my current Steps counter! Is this something I could somehow achieve myself through GWD (is there a .gwd file for it?), or is there a way I could get in touch with the watch face creator to request such an added feature? Has anyone come across a similar watch face that offers these things?
This was my favorite as well and i also missed the date, so i created my own watch face (picture attached)
Called G-Dashboard in Galaxy Apps store (hope its available in your country)
Recently upgraded to S3 and am loving it. I've never been into designing watch faces as I usually just want functional but with the altimeter / barometer options, I thought I'd had a go. The face is simple (bit like me really) / minimal as battery life is important but I'd like the option to display altitude on the watch face. I have added a picture and configured it as a button to open the Barometer / Altimeter app but I'd love to have the data on the face itself. In reality, I'd prefer a link to the widget rather than individual setting but that doesn't look possible.
There is reference on various forums to various APIs that allow you to access the data but I can't figure out how they would function, nor can I figure out how to incorporate an API call with the image interaction in the designer.
Any help / guidance appreciated.
Did you ever get the Alt/Baro to work on the face?
Hi there
Tell me please if you use your gear as a sports/trening tracker?
Why do I ask? Recently I have been using gear s3 along with tomtom spark and I am really dissapointed with gear results
Calories burn are terribly low, distance is incorrect, heart rate sometimes stucks and shows the same data for all training, I can't edit trainings (eg I can't change 'other training' into for example 'martial arts") etc
Is gear sport the same? Do you have any comparision?
Perhaps tizen2 was better in this area?
Thanks for any suggestions/ideas etc
Official Samsung says the accuracy is 80% but in reality we all know is lower.
For activity I would recommend a an activity tracker dedicated instead of a smartwatch.
Try using the UA fitness apps. I started using UA Record again (I stopped because it wouldn't sync correctly, does now), and it seems way more accurate with my workouts. Honestly, outside of the UI and look of the watch, this thing isn't great. If you want a good fitness tracker, try Garmin, I've heard very good things,. Also, give Android Wear a shot too if you want to keep the style of a smartwatch. I had a Huawei watch 2 classic, and Google Fit was awesome for tracking, at least strength training (all I tried). I went back to Samsung because I missed the UI and the watch 2 battery life suuuccckkkeeeddd.
Hi guys,
I have just bought this smartwatch, coming from a Galaxy Watch 46mm. I wanted a smartwatch with a battery life of at least 10 days, so I was ready to accept some compromise in terms of "smart".
Most of the function that I miss:
- Basic multitasking: I see that if I start a timer, or chronometer, I can close it, and re-open, and this is nice. But, as soon as I start a workout, it is not possible to open a separate timer or doing anything with the watch. I think this is a very huge limitation, do you know if there are any other possibilities?
- No sync with the calendar - "to do" list from the smartphone. It was very smart to see the appointments from the smartwatch. Maybe in the future with some app?
- Strange that there is "expulse water" function, but there is no "locking" system for water/shower. In this case, I activate "do not disturb", but this is for other purpose. Do you confirm that this is not exist?
I'm enjoying it anyway, beautiful watch, very smooth and fast, for sure with many limits. A good compromise.
Thanks!

I am almost selling it... Cant take a simple shower without geting a display that goes crazy when in touch with water and start to making some random phone calling.
The thermoter can't be uses under water what is pretty annoying to.
I have a Amazfit Gtr3 that works flawless under those situations.
Gt3 pro is Premium hardware with garbage software.
