Still a good buy - Huawei Watch 2

I've been wanting an Huawei Watch 2 for the longest time and with the holidays coming up I'm able to snatch a new huawei classic 2 for 180. Is this still a good buy ? Should I wait for the next smartwatch ? Opinions welcome !

I got mine for about the same price a year ago around black Friday so that's really not a deal considering it's a year later. I'd wait and opt for a snapdragon 3100 watch at this point. I like my classic but just can't see getting a new one right now

I think only Mont blanc has a 3100 chip one out now but it's a thousand dollars. I'd wait for Google, they helped develop that chip. But it's going to be not as cheap as Huawei, just like pixel phone etc. It might be months away too.
Could get a cheap Huawei on eBay, from someone selling stuff for a long time with 100% star rating. Look for a week or two and you'll get if you pounce quick, for cheap. Then can sell it next year at cost or slight loss.

I have just got a new BT sport for 99.99£ from ebay resellers so surely watch for cheaper ones and you will find!

And how come the new gt is good? Wont even display ur WhatsApp or messenger or any other 3rd party app... I would say the Huawei watch 2 is far better option than this

He said "bt sport", not gt.
BT = Bluetooth Sport Huawei watch 2,
not the LTE 4G sport model.

Huawei GT is only a Tracker (with bad sleep tracking) and 0 smartwatch, do not mistake

[Q] Free accessories with phone

A lot of carriers and 3rd parties are offering free accessories as incentives these days.
I was wondering what, if anything at all, people have received or been offered with the LG G flex 2.
I was given;
LG Folio Quickcircle case worth £12-£20 ($17-$30)
and
LG Musicflow P7 portable speaker worth £150 ($220)
I'll update this post with links when I'm allowed to but for now Google can help you find them
So, what kind of accessories have you seen or received with the G flex 2?
I got the same as you from carphone warehouse in the uk. The offer was available to people who preordered the g flex 2.
By the way. How do you find your music flow speaker?. I find battery life a bit rubbish but great sounding little speaker in general...
G Watch R here, Pre-order Vodafone
They offered us nothing here in the US.. we always get screwed over, "land of the free" my ass.

I didn't preorder, I just went into the shop last week and got them for free.
I haven't had much use for the speaker yet so can't comment on battery life.
Sound wise it's brilliant for something so small, could be a little louder but I've got a full pa system if I want loud
I found I can use the speaker with my TV too... I don't think I'll be doing that again.

How do you find the G watch for day to day use?
I've been looking at a few smart watches but can't decide if I actual want one.

I feel your pain, this is the first time I've actually got anything free with a phone other than a bad tariff.
To be honest though, having looked in depth at moving to the US, you get much better deals on contracts and "all you can eat" data is far more widely available.

I was dubious to whether I would actually use it after the 'first week new toy' thing, but I have become almost dependant on it.
Excellent for use at work, out and about and generally round the house.
Can't recommend it highly enough!
In Singapore, they gave out free OEM tempered glass screen protector.

new smartwatch or gear VR for your new S6/S6e

so which peripheral gadget will you get for your new s6? will you get the latest watches (moto, gear S, etc.) or the latest gear VR IE/commercial gear GR that will be released soon.
im waiting for the new moto 360 2
I'm quite interested in both. But I guess I will go with a smart watch (curious how the new moto 360 will be reviewed).
I also like the VR stuff,I have a card Bord for testing purposes, but this tech is so fast doing progress. I guess I Will wait for the next gen VR goggles. HTC vive looks also really promising
To ease myself into the smartwatch, I got a Pebble along with my S6. I'm really enjoying it, and I like that I have only had to charge it once so far.
Ive got the sony smartwatch 3 which I highly recommend. S6 still hasnt arrived yet though!

I've got the 360 unless there are alot of improvements on this one not sure if I will purchase the 720 or not.
Already have my Sony SW3, and no need to strap my phone to my head, so.......
I want to purchase the Moto 360, especially now that they lowered the price. I don't feel as bad paying $160 to test out the Moto instead of the original price.

Is This A Good Price?

Hey guys just ordered myself a Gear S2 Classic from best buy and was wondering if this was a good deal or not. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung...ther/4633300.p?id=1219783546050&skuId=4633300 It's certified refurbished but was about half off. Been using my Moto 360 1st Gen and Pebble Time Steel for a little while now and was going to get another android wear watch but figured maybe I should try something different and it goes along with my S7 edge.
EDIT: Looks like the price changed. Was around $175 when I bought it.
good price it is
Looks good to me but may just be a GeekSquad refurbished. Should have the same warranty.

It is very good price, just make sure that they have the reactivation lock removed, else you will have a huge headache like those:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s2/general/gear-s2-reactivation-lock-t3218579
Just got it today and all is working fine. Watch looks perfect and my glass screen protector came in today too. Came with the charger and different size strap. Now time to test drive this thing. So far seems nice and a good change from my other 2 watches. Just noticed the price went up from $175 too.
I found one on bestbuy.com for $130. I was hoping I got one with the purchase of the S7 edge from Verizon. I am waiting for it to come on Tuesday from California. I'll be very happy if it is not locked to another Samsung account. If not it will go back.
Bought today a refurbished S2 wifi from Ebay Best Buy store selling them for $140. Should have it Friday.

Honor V10, Bluetooth and OIS

Got an Honor View 10 from John Lewis yesterday and was lucky I pulled the trigger yesterday because the price went up from £339 to £449 overnight. I haven't opened it but just wondering whether not having OIS is going to be a permanent thing and also is Bluetooth going to be updated to 5.0 if it isn't a hardware issue?
anyway Honor have answered me, Bluetooth is permanently on 4.2 as its a hardware issue. The OIS stuff they have forwarded to their R&D department.
same here, got it for 339£, have it unopened while I contemplate what to do next. johnlewis has an amazing 35 days return policy.
no eis update is a sure return for me
Who cares about eis... I make awesome videos just the same.
And they come out just fine.
I'm loving mine
Even put my s8+ in the desk drawer
It's like talking to parakeets
Squak Squak.. No eis Squak whaaa
Sooner or later it will be fixed
Go on spend 1000 sterling pounds dollars.
I'm laughing and making awesome videos

nolia what about yours one?
Ois so far has posed no problems for me, just have to remember that decent lighting is required for quick response of the camera, other then that the dual shooter is fantastic imo.
Can I ask the difference between Bluetooth 4.2 and 5.

haven't opened it. Normally goods sold in the UK from big chains have UK plugs.

bluetooth 5 allows you to connect 2 devices simultaneously e.g you can connect 2 bluetooth speakers and stream music to both of them. In 4.2 its one or the other, it will show there is 2 bluetooth headphones/speakers but you have to chose 1.

Please let me know if you decide to open yours, will do the same. I wish it comes with the EU plug it would work better for my ends.
p.s.
congrats on the deal, I was keeping an eye on amazon at £369.99 until it run out of stock.
Following day CPW had it on the website at £339.99 for 2 days, I was literally ordering it when the price went up to £449.99 I think it was.
Johnlewis luckily had it in stock at £339.99 and I pulled the trigger. I knew JL was going to amend the price and bam it did the following day, following CPW 's foodsteps eheheh.

yeah they follow each other haha. The note 8 dropped at CPW and bingo John had it at the same price. But anway, why so much emphasis on EU plug assuming u live here of course or u live in Spain lol
I will set mine next week when I go home, doubt would return it. I have read a lot of positive reviews and some neg but overall positives trounced the negatives.
I'm based in London but will likely move to Europe for work reasons within weeks

New Pixel C battery and keyboards

Assuming it's ok to share items for sale here???
I purchased this battery from eBay a few mos ago: https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-High-Q...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
And then broke my Pixel-C screen before I could install it
The seller is in China and has reduced his price to $28. I paid $35 for mine.
I'll sell if for $25 including shipping to any location in the US. Pls let me know if you're interested.
I also have a near-new Pixel C metal keyboard that is in perfect condition and a leather folio keyboard in excellent condition.
Will sell each for $25 (including shipping)
If you want both keyboards and the battery, I'll sell for $60 including shipping.
Can send photos to any prospective buyers who want them.
I installed one of these batteries, they're legit. Hard to install but doable!

Like I said in your thread, the hardest and sketchiest part is getting the screen off, that job is already half done for you. The actual connectors inside the device are pretty easy to deal with if you've ever repaired a tablet/phone.

I know Samsung is having some decent deals on their tablets. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is available for a decent price if you are able to trade in a newish phone, or tablet, but even without the trade-in its still at somewhat reasonable price for performance.
I did not want an iPad or a Samsung tablet so I went for a Pixel C, I dont regret the decision but I do wish there was something else Android. I dont like the idea of either an expensive Samsung that probably will be difficult or impossible to install another rom on, or some complete trash no name from Amazon.

After researching around theres not to many options or companies making tablets seems the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and the Galaxy Tab S5e are the only 2 with rom or LineageOS support that I can find. The S5e seems to be a bit more powerful offering a 6mb ram version and has official LineageOS support the Tab S6 Lite is the cheaper budget tablet but offers the pen and offering only Unofficial LineageOS.
I'd love to be able to upgrade and get the new Galaxy Tab S7 or S7+ the top of the line tablets out now but no rom support out at all from what I see ?
The Pixel C is a bit old release date was 2015 I could just buy another one super cheap on ebay but think maybe its time to get something newer at this point?
Any one have any other suggestions ?
If you need any Pixel C Keyboards you can check out the sale here where they are just $9.99 for a brand new one Brand New Pixel C Keyboard $9.99 eBay
