How bypass TMobile Unlock App & get Prompt to enter Network Unlock Code / IMEI unlock
Can't seem get the phone to prompt for to Enter Network Unlock Code or IMEI unlock input anywhere after I put a different carrier sim or invalid sim. Is there anyway we can bypass the 3rd Party Tmo Unlock App or get the phone to bypass to enter the network unlock code? The phone is already Rooted running on various ROM such as Darthstalker, Resurrection and Dr, Ketan L2 and also Rooted Stock ROM, but noting seem to get the sim to prompt to enter network unlock. Try Build.Prop nothing there...so far. Try Deleting sys file, apk and other Efs nothing work.... Do I need to change or install a new Baseband/Radio/Modem?
Its built into the T-Mobile based roms if I'm not mistaken. If you flashed an international rom I would think it would go away and you could get the standard unlock prompt. Thats how others have done it in the past. They flashed MetroPCS roms and then unlocked and then flashed back. Make sure its safe to flash an international rom first (even if only temporary).
Has anyone been able to try this successfully?

Use "shortcut master lite" or paid version its up to you..from app store and launch the 7465625 codes press the ones that show perso <android_unlock_code it should bring up what u need..hope this helps someone. .?I have the core prime from metro..and it works to let me put in the code..only I don't have the code..☺I found out about this app when I had the S5..
I
It can't be avoided. You must unlock through the app. If you install a custom ROM, and are able to get an unlock prompt from the phone, the code you buy over the internet will not work. You are best to go through the unlocking tools which cost between 25-30 and will let you unlock it with the T-mobile app.
Dude here can unlock it for free. Search the forum. Title "Sim unlock - domestic and international"

You DON"T need an Unlock code for these new Samsung Tmobile phones.
If the phone has been paid off for over 30 days then you can use the free "Tmobile Device Unlock" app to unlock
it and if the phone is STOCK and no one deleted the unlock app it should be in the app drawer of the phone.
If the "Device Unlock" app is not in the app drawer then you can simply download it from the playstore.
To unlock it with the unlock app it only takes one click.
The Device Unlock app will NOT ask for any codes at all it only asks if you want temporary or permanent unlock.
Here is the direct playstore link for the Tmobile Device Unlock app in case you need it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....simlock&hl=en
Here is Tmobile's "Device Unlock" step by step instruction link in case you need it:
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-14011
I unlocked my Tmobile S6 Edge+ and when I go into Settings>Mobile networks and click on
"Network operators" then click "Search Now" it displays Tmobile, AT&T and Verizon as options.
P.s. If the Unlock Device app does NOT unlock your phone it means that it's either not paid off or it has been stolen. (Blacklisted)
Good luck,
Have a great day!
Or, you can use a third party unlocking service like UnlockRadar.com. Here is a link: https://www.unlockradar.com/service/t-mobile-usa-device-unlock-app-official-unlock

i try many times to contact you but never answer..
dont promisse something you wont do it...
Here's my question on this topic. I have flash numerous rims on my TMO note5 and the device unlock app just says it is incompatible and stops there. I know when I put completely stock note5 that I have used the unlock app and it successfully unlocked the phone. After I flashed the rims, the app does not work but I also loose unlock. Anyone else have this issue or know what to do to get unlock back with a custom rom?

Sadly this is true! The people who think they are entitled to everything and anything are ruining a lot of stuff for everyone else! A lot of devs just gave up and left because of people like this and crybabies who don't read first before doing something to their phone and then suddenly their incompetence is somehow the devs fault!? People need to grow up already.. Seriously!

Hi guys need some help! :'(
I bought a N920-T from shop which was Unlocked and Working for other carriers on Kit Kat rom.
I then installed stock Marshmallow using Odin/Rooted and TWRPD it. And it was fully working with my international SIM. I made a backup of my fully working unlocked Marshmallow with all the items checked (EFS and MODEM too).
Today, somehow my rom got stuck and crashed and I decided to Restore it using backup which I made. Restore got through and everything was back EXCEPT I see "Network Lock:" screen on first time boot up after restoring it.
"The device can be remotely unlocked if eligible. Please use "Device Unlock" application to unlock the device."
Please help! What should I do? Should I launch the T mobile device unlock application and continue it with wifi and see what happens?. Or what?. My device was unlocked and fully working on Kit Kat and Marshmallow too. It means it was officially unlocked right?. PLEASE GUIDE.

It would not hurt anything or make things worst for you if you tried the Tmobile Device Unlock,
it will either network unlock your phone or it won't.
I used Device Unlock on my Tmobile Note 4 and my Tmobile S6 Edge+ and in both cases it
worked fine and unlocked my phones.
Good luck,
Have a great day!

First off the phone shipped with Lollipop not kit Kat. Second a true Sim carrier unlock is permanent and can't be undone as far as I know.
I do remember when you use the device unlock app their is an option to temporarily unlock, I wonder if that's what you had?

Unlocking the carrier lock is permanent
No amount of modding would change it
See if your phone is eligible to unlock: Mobile Wireless Device Unlocking.
From that Application list, tap Device Unlock.
Tap Continue.
Wait while the device connects to the server.
Choose the desired device unlock type:
Permanent Unlock: Permanently unlocks the device.
Temporary Unlock: Temporarily unlocks device for 30 days.
Note: Temporary unlocks must be performed with a mobile data connection. Wi-Fi will not work.
Wait while the device requests the unlock.
If successful, restart the device to apply the settings

I can't even use smart switch to go back to stock
The T-Mobile app didn't work. Permanent and Temporary Unlock said my device is "not eligible". I am confused, when I bought the phone it was working with other Sim and was on Lollipop/Rooted and then I installed Marshmallow T-Mobile Stock Rom via Odin/Rooted and it was still Unlocked then back up which I created was with EFS and MODEM checked in TWRP of Marshmallow. I think the EFS and MODEM option in backup creation and restoring it messed my phone up. But I am still wondering how was it unlocked?. T-Mobile says my mobile is ineligible, maybe shop owner used Z3X Box Samsung Tool Pro or something?
UPDATE:
I decided to use unlock services online. The one I used was unlockbase they have a software that unlocks the phone on-the-go and it requires internet connection. I got my phone unlocked and international SIM working. The question is that if I backup my EFS and MODEM now using TWRP and later restore it will it break the UNLOCK?.They guarantee that their unlock is permanent and modding won't do anything.
Because the unlock they do is of course by altering the EFS/FILES and in that case backing up EFS and MODEM is a safe way to UNLOCK my phone again in future if it somehow gets LOCK again, right?.
For Developers: I have my before/after EFS files backups. Before unlock and after unlock, if some developer wants it for research purposes, I can send it to you for the sake of development.

ask the gentleman to unlock it on xda he's awesome! Never restore it'll cause you to loose unlock under all cercumstances I've learned not a big deal
UPDATE:
I have Saved my UNLOCKED EFS and Modem Files, and upon restoring those using TWRP my phone gets unlocked, tried purposely after locking my device and it works, you just gotta save them EFS Files (unlocking services like via box or online tools edit these files in order to unlock) , they are the real deal lol. Made Several copies of my Unlocked EFS/Modem Files xD
I'm asking because there is a software called dc-unlocker that - allegedly - can unlock the bootloader of a lot of Huawei phones:
https://www.dc-unlocker.com/supported_models_1/huawei_phones
For the Honor 6X it says as a feature "read unlock codes".
Possibility 1: Huawei has a database of IMEI number -> random hardcoded unlock code. Because dc-unlocker has that feature of showing codes this is probably not what they are doing.
Possibility 2: The unlock code is generated based on the IMEI number (possibly other parameters are required)
Possibility 3: They don't actually generate unlock codes and just unlock it with some exploit.
Does anyone know how this works? I thought it may be possibility 2.
Has anyone collected IMEI numbers with fitting unlock codes?
Maybe if we had a few we could find a pattern.
i tried retrieveing my bootloader code from Huawei web site, it still work
Sent from my vivo 1723 using Tapatalk
Maybe I will have to do that, but it sucks. Imagine if you bought a PC mainboard and then had to register an account at the vendor's website to receive a code just to be able to boot another operating system than the preinstalled one. People would want to crack that instead...
If you dont want to pay for unlocking bootloader. Then request key throught hicare live chat it will take approximately 14days
I'm not one for swearing much, but **** you, Huawei: https://www.xda-developers.com/huawei-stop-providing-bootloader-unlock-codes/
That's why it's important that for the hardware you buy you have all the knowledge in the open, how to actually control the hardware. Like the algorithm that calculates the unlock code.
I tried dc unlocker – unfortunatly it freezes
As the dc-unlocker web site and the client program seem to claim they'd be able to provide unlock code for bootloader – I downloaded the client and bought 4 credits.
After switching USB Port Settings to "Manufacture Mode" - dc unlocker client detects phone as
Found Applications port COM3
Model : Huawei HiSilicon Kirin Android phone

When I change "Select Model" from "Huawei HiSilicon Kirin Android phone" to "Huawei Honor 6X" and press the detect-button again – the program freezes.
Anything I chould do about this? Anyone successfuly unlocked the honor 6x via dc-unlocker? Any other possible solutions apart from hoping Huawei coming to sence and provide the codes again?

I think, maybe "when it still worked" was meant – probably there's no "enclave" country were huawei still provides unlock codes… :/
DC-Unlocker seems to only support model "BLN-AL10" – maybe we'll be lucky in upcoming version (will ask in their forum…).
Anyone tried the services of "ministry of solutions"? They claim to support unlocking a bunch (probably all) of honor 6x models…
Any other possibilities?
dc-unlocker does not seem to work with my honor 6x – but I got refund for my credits bought.
(-> question in dc-unlocker forum)
Thinking about "ministryofsolutions" huawei bootloader unlock paid service – they claim in chat, they'd be able to provide unlock code for my BLN-L21C432B378. I don't like the thought of sharing my USB-ports via flexihub and giving access via Teamviewer– but I think the risk is not that big, if I use a fresh Windows just for that and disconnect my google account on phone and delete all personal data…
Any other suggestions or experiences?
Paid the 4$ for "ministry of solutions" – worked.
Code:
# whoami
root
# echo "yey!"
Despite Huawei saying the new policy is about reducing warranty claims for stolen data or bricked phones, occam's razor says this is to enable Big Brother's back door and prevent truly effective from keeping the phones from "going dark."
The first thing a third-party ROM user is told is that flashing voids the manufacturer's warranty. This issue is about control and surveillance, and there surely is a way to crack the bootloader code - even if the last method is brute force...

Hi guys I got stolen my oneplus 6, I need advice to try to recover it.
The lock screen is protected with pattern and fingerprint and I read on Internet that from android 8.1 they will be unable to use the phone even if they do factory reset. Is it true?
The bootloader in unlocked but to flash from fastboot you need to enable "OEM unlocking" in developer settings isn't it?
I'm trying to locate with the Google find device tool but it says "can't reach device".
I send the imei numbers to my provider to put in the Black list.
What else I should do?
Are they will able to use the phone?
Are my data safe?

the fact that The bootloader is unlocked makes the point need to enable "OEM unlocking" moot. then they could use the debrick method to have a working phone. Last but not least, then just change imei number and have a working OP6. this is just a run down of how it could be done. I'm guessing that the debrick tool might be doing a complete wipe and write operation that might bypass FRP.

I know, I'll think twice before unlock the bootloader next time.
But still I think they will not be able to flash from fastboot without enable "OEM unlocking" can someone confirm this?
Is it so easy to change imei? I thought was almost impossible. I don't think that they are so clever and own a debrick tool for oneplus, they're just pickpocket thieves.

if your bootloader is unlocked, they don't have to enable "OEM unlocking", it is already enabled and the bootloader already unlocked, they can flash a recovery or kernel or what ever they want, about the paterns and pin i don't know , but sure with the debrick tool they can reflash everything

Smart or not, when they find out its more job that they anticipated they will just sell it so someone and screw them over aswell. Win + win.. Rarely thieves keep things themselves, they wanna get rid of the evidence.
I'm just imaging the thief browsing this thread taking tips on how to make his new phone usable... ?
That's awful, I bough it not even 1 month ago, I can't believe.
I hope they cannot unlock the phone and leave somewhere so I can recover it.

Pretty much t mobile is your only hope. Maybe paid services Which you will not find or get any help on here.
These phones will frequently work with t-mobile resellers too, but no guarantee. You might consider mint mobile.
Convert T-Mobile OnePlus 9 to Global (or other) firmware
** USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. ** READ THROUGH THE STEPS BEFORE ATTEMPTING. IF AT ANY POINT WHILE READING THESE STEPS YOU GET CONFUSED, YOU PROBABLY SHOULDN'T ATTEMPT THIS. ** BACKUP YOUR FILES AND APP DATA AS THIS WILL WIPE YOUR PHONE. ** BACKUP...
forum.xda-developers.com
You can get bootloader unlock this way and then flash global to it with the msm tool in that link.
T mobile is a bit of a pain to get the unlock code, you have to get a number from the phone using adb and then submit a request on their website using the serial and that number... A week or so later they will send you a unlock code that can be used in adb and then the normal process to unlock after that.
