I know, but I want to know something else.
On other pie ROMs, like P3R, it will not search for other networks when you turn off "select network automatically". In this case it will still select the network automatically.
Does this ROM also have this bug?

How about battery life??
Every pie rom I've tested drain battery really fast as compared to the stock oreo with Francokernel (5 to 6 hour screen on time with LTE)
Does it also have VoLTE and hardware encryption issue?

@sirhc What exactly is the right procedure of flashing the ROM, if coming from another custom Pie ROM? Sure I have to wipe data, dalvik and cache, but should I wipe system as well? Do I need to flash boot/kernel and vendor separately? By the size of the zip I figure there are no gapps included, so is there a problem with the initial setup, and which gapps package would you recommend? Thank you!

I came from Oreo (November)
I wipe chache, dalvik cache, system and data.
I install rom, gapps (mini or pico)
flsh Magisk,
wipe cache/dalvik,
and less reboot.
*IF U have problem with the initial setup: u can try: wipe all, install rom, reboot, and later install gapps,
Does this ROM also have the volte and hardware encryption bugs like all the other pie ROMs for our device?

You are the best, this is the most stable release of 7.1.1 asop IMO keep up the good work !!!
Thanks for this Rom. Please add "hide clock in statusbar"
Having gapps flashed it doesn't boot. It stays at aoscp logo.
Thanks.
You could add "turn the flashlight on while screen is off by long pressing the power button", though.

Wipe system, data, cache/dalvik, flash rom, and gapps I used was open gapps 7.1.1, it took like 7 mins to boot so not too long of a wait for first boot
Anyone else experiencing trouble with night light? Neither sunset/sunrise nor setting it to custom schedule works for me.
Is video recording working?
Is this 7.1 or 7.1.1?
Google Assistant work?
I assume GAPS are not included based on a 372mb download...?

assistant you have to set up your self, you can either use a flash-able zip in recovery to add assistant or manually change your build prop. if you don't you will be using now on tap instead.

I tried it on a C2105. What can I say is... Well, it's a good ROM, for sure. Nevertheless, there's some bugs. Fistly, there's a "Mobile broadcast", every time the UI loads. That broadcast, however, is nothing more than another operator's network name! Sometimes it says "VIVO SP 11", sometimes "OI SP 11". Secondly, it always tells me about "navigating the sdcard".
But there are more serious issues, to be honest. One of them is that recovery won't work, at all:
* The CWM android mascott appears and disappears in less than 1 sec*
Code:
Supported API: 3
E:unknown fs_type "f2fs" for /cache
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_locale
And then it proceeds to a recovery boot loop, only being stopped by me pulling the battery out. Afterwards, it loads the OS normally, though.
Another problem is that neither App2SD neithe FolderMount will work. But it may be a problem with root (I'm using Magisk).
However, it is it... A good work with a few perks to be reworked...

Hi,
Thanks for your review! About the issues you faced-
1. You can disable the emergency broadcasts by going to Settings->More->Emergency broadcasts and disabling all the alerts.
2. About the navigating to sdcard, can you be more specific? As far as I know, it only tells us to use your internal sdcard as an adaptable storage which is a new feature introduced in android nougat. You can discard this notification.
3.Apparently it seems you are not using TWRP recovery in FOTA partition. Kindly visit below link and flash latest TWRP in FOTAKernel partition.
[Recovery][OFFICIAL][UBL] TWRP 3.1.1 Touch Recovery for Xperia L
4. As far as I know, applications like apps2sd are not working on any nougat ROMs. So might wanna consider switching to adaptable storage feature.
Thanks and regards,
STRYDER~007

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6 (marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. The other thread is outdated. This build is up to date and will be actively maintained If you come from stock miui, flashing firmware shouldnt be necessary. Just flash the rom. But if you face issues, then try with the firmware too
Doing pretty well on battery - 9Hrs SOT with 29% remaining
Does it have DT2W and auto brightness feature??
Cool Going to try soon

Yes, but in the current build DT2W isn't working. I'm uploading a new build with fixes, just wait for like 10 more minutes and you'll have a totally stable build

Open gapps pico should be fine. Select arm64 as architecture tho. And as of xposed, you can just install it through the new xposed installer app. I would not recommend Xposed tho, as it might cause issues.
Hi,
First thanks for building this.
I am using LOS14.1 just because the previous LOS13 Xposed can be installed but modules doesn't work. And the only reason why I want to use MM is because of Xposed.
Apart from Xposed I didn't know what is wrong with the previous LOS13. But I would like to know what is being fixed in this version. Thanks

Hi!
Great work! Flashed here and almost everything is working fine!
The only problem I encountered is that the fingerprint isn't working. Do you know how to fix it?
Another thing is that the second rear camera won't work with default camera app, but it will with Asus Camera apk.
Thanks for the ROM!

Thanks raza231198 and all the developers for this custom ROM. It works nicely for me, much better than the stock ROM in a lot of respects, thank you for all the work you put into this!
I have one issue though. When I connect to a PC through USB, I have trouble transferring files. When I connect the phone, and I tap the USB preferences setting, I get a screen where I see options for using USB for file transfer, MIDI, or no data transfer, but all the options are greyed out, and nothing happens when I tap on them. See screenshot:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/baRu9Y5D2pWEc3ok9
I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I found a workaround which is that in the general settings, I can choose file transfer to be the default choice for any device that I connect to. However, that's not quite secure.
What are your thoughts?
I'm also happy to work as tester if you need more reports on anything.
Have a beautiful day!
---------- Post added at 06:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:19 PM ----------
Also, in case this is useful to people, I wrote up a step-by-step guide how to install this, basically starting from the phone as it is when it comes from store.
