Stock gestures are perfect.

Hello, I would to request more customizations for the Oneplus 6 gestures to Oneplus. Question is if it has some kind of support here (maybe the devs can look into it).
I went from soft buttons (Oneplus One) to the op6 gestures but what am I missing is:
custom mapping swipe up/and hold for the left and right
So you can map search, menu, assistant, last app and so on.
What do you think?
Use gesture controls next level navigation for the play store. It much better for gestures I've been using since I had my 5T it has various customization options.
I can also recommend the Gesture Controls App, but it can do the most important things only with root. Also it would be nice to have customization in the stock gestures since they in my opinion are a lot smoother and work a lot better than the ones in the Gesture Controls app
oneplusgestures app does what you're looking for.

it does but stops working after a while and also I do miss the option for: menu, in app search, force close active app
so not the way for me
I have nova launcher installed as well as magisk, is there any way I can change the recent app drawer to the Oreo version? It's just harder to get the gestures correct in comparison.
EDIT: Installing a earlier version of the oneplus launcher OR freezing the app causes the recent apps gesture to not work, forcing me to use buttons instead.

The "Disable" button for the app is greyed out. Freezing the app causes the recent app gesture to not work.
I'm also looking for a solution to this. Using Root to freeze OnePlus Launcher only disables recents completely.
What are the main differences between these two variants?

That's it?
Ok got it.
MIUI.EU is a custom ROM made by the fan community based on Chinese Variant of MIUI, which has way less inbuilt Google apps and bloatware but includes almost all the same Mi Apps. ( It also doesn't have ads)
In terms of performance and battery backup is almost the same as stock.

Woah automatic dark mode is there? Damn.
Is it system wide? i.e do apps that don't support dark mode natively get it too?
The hide notch feature is there in stock tho

Since I upgraded to android 10 I have the new gestures, but the back gesture is really bothering me. Is there any way to customize the back action trigger zone in order to make it smaller?

I wish. I spent a decent amount of time looking. There isn't yet.
Just using the P style gestures for now. They are better than being wholly unable to open side drawers.
There is not currently, but there is an app called Fluid Navigation Gestures that does this. It's basically a customizable version of the current navigation gestures. Not sure how well it works on Q but I used to have it on my OP6t and it worked great.
Edge gestures. I am not ot using the back gestures on Android 10 and using this one. Customizable. Used fluid navigation gestures as well. Won't go wrong with either.
Has anyone tested Note 20 Ultra with Nova Launcher for gestural navigation compatibility? Apparently One UI 2.5 fixes some bugs.
Does the app switching work correctly where you can slide between the screens correctly with nice animation .. just like the correct navigation on the Pixel 4 XL? .. and not just the last app but the last 4 or 5 apps.
I too would like to know
Works, one ui 2.5 support nova launcher gestures

I don't believe that until someone confirms that quick switching between windows is working correctly & smoothly .... when you swipe across the bottom of the screen.

He never tested the quick window switch by sliding along the base of the display
Have a look at the section for fast multitasking ... You can see the quick switch between windows ..
https://www.cnet.com/how-to/galaxy-s10-how-to-enable-use-gesture-navigation/
Doubt it is going to work correctly. My P40 Pro does the nav gestures in your video also .. but doesnt work for the quick window switch.

You should test it and let us know when you get yours.
The feature you are asking about (quick window switching by sliding across base of screen) works on my Note 10+ with Nova Launcher v6.2.13 BETA. It's OneUI 2.1 but given the small changes in v2.5 I don't see why it wouldn't work. Either way it seems the developers of Nova are on the case with this.
.
Note 20 Ultra 5G + Nova = everything is perfect !!!
Thanks Samsung xo
The only issue I seem to have is I can't swipe home when in recent apps, have to swipe back instead. Is that a feature or a bug?
Works fine

Same.
I get that with one UI also. It's annoying.
