I just changed to China region in HiCare, and got it.

On what country did you had it? and you have same version as me? COL-AL10 (C00)?
I just did it, no problems so far and i dont see any major changes.

Yes i have the same version as you and i did it in Germany with complete system in german.
Didnt see any major changes aswell.

No toItWith the HiSuite on Romania, it didnt find me anything. Just the suite was on china, the system was in english

Not in hisuite.. He changes region in hicare app. Which came preinstalled from honor.

One last thing, clear cache and data from hicare and try again. If its still not working, just wait it.

I bet he doesnt have AL but european device...

When I change the region to China, it does change but there is this popup displaying me to use "Huawei ID made in China" everytime I access hicare app.
Also, do I need to do anything else, except changing region on hicare?

No, i just changed, entered hicare, went to update, and i got a chinese msg and selected the right option and then it went to the update window and told me that i got a new update.
I didnt have any problem with the huawei id. Mine is for Romania.

I know you use wifi to download so I tried wifi but doesn't seem to have luck. Anyway how's the gpu turbo boost? Does it work as they boast about it?

Yeah I hope so.. Anyway somewhere I saw a snapshot but it was showing update file of 3 gb with gpu turbo . Weird!!
I wonder how Huawei fit the GPU update on 640 mb haha

mine had like 500mb ) maybe i am not that lucky
I didnt test it before so i cant give you any feedback, and to be onest i dont do gaming on my phone.

I'm not sure about that lol but I did sent a message to Huawei asking when will the global version get firmware updates, dunno if that did anything

C636 is the asian variant while 432 is EU

How you sent msg to Huawei? I from Malaysia. Only received n started to use Mate 20x this Friday. Firmware is 9.0.0.117(C636E3R1P11), didn't receive any update at all since put my dual sims on Friday. I tried live chat from Hicare. Was told by standard reply which firmware release batch by batch. Just wait only.

I went to the global Huawei consumer site and used the contact link. From there I filled in an inquiry form but I don't think they just singled me out for the update, not sure how they roll the updates out though

Did anyone have an issue unlocking your work profile after the update?

Dang! Was excited for 146 with November and seeing some have 172 with December now... Hopefully that arrives soon. Still lots of bugs with nova launcher.... Need to get that fixed!!!

Ok so you set the region of the phone itself to India not just HiCare then reran the system update searches???

Just set HiCare app region to China. That's what I did.

Not days months. L29 just recently got .137 update via ota. However manual update was out way before it

Another update with AR measure has rolled out and version is .173
Change log is attached

I think this is beta.

I tried this but it wont work for me.
But today at night i get the update FINALLY to version 9.0.1.169. So for global view 20 i think its newest update

Still nothing in UK for me

Recovery mode: 9.0.1.169
Previously it would display 9.0.1.137 as the latest version.

Yeah, it's risky. In the past when I use the "download latest and recovery", it hasn't factory reset my phone, but it feels like it's meant to.

Yes, L29 and I had checked for an update yesterday morning and System Update reported that I was up to date (192) then last night, I got the notification that a new update was ready to be installed.

AL00 probably China Version
L29 was International Version,
And it is not the Software version, hence if u were in AL00, u wont get L29 update, unless u port it in.

I believed China Version will get the update first, even oldest version of devices as well, so no doubt on it. Just can't wait when the newly EMUI will online for my version.

How?I have tha chinese variant still on .200, tried the beta app and system update no luck.
