I actually got the watch and it is perfectly compatible with the Huawei P10 Lite.
Does gps work while Bluetooth is connected?

Can anybody alter the S Health app to sync Gear S3 Frontier with Huawei X2?
Gear S3 works fine with my Huawei X2 (get all notifications, calls, etc.). But S Health says it's not supported on my device.
Huawei X2 has identical tech specs (except the screen size) with Huawei P8 (which is listed as supported device at Samsung Gear S3 website).
