Finally!
But why some devices aren't supported (for example my mi 6 with AospExtended ROM)?

I've been using Join App for this and more, can you elaborate why I may want to switch to your app?

on linux distributions you also have another choice.

Hi
Thanks for your reply.
It should be supported, we don't restrict any devices.
Can you elaborate how it is not supported? Does it show up in Play Store or does it simply not mirror your notifications?
If you could provide us with some more info, we would like to see if we can resolve the issue.
The only restrictions the app has is it needs to have a Google account on the phone and Play Services.
We hope to hear from you.
Thanks.

Hi
Thanks for your question.
Right of the bat the difference with Bridge is that it's less than half the price.
Bridge also has an non-cluttered UI so you'll be up and running in minutes.
Also it's very battery & resource friendly.
In fact it uses so little battery that it doesn't even show up on my list of apps using battery under Android settings.
Bridge used 0.12 mAh on my phone, which is insignificant.
I've attached a screenshot so you can see for yourself.
Our mirrored notifications are also custom designed which gives you an easy overview.
Even if you have more notifications in your statusbar, than Android itself can show, our custom design lets you see all of them, thus bypassing the restriction other similar apps have.
And of course it has the usual option to Whitelist apps, get notified when one of your devices is charged and so on.
You can try it and let us know what you think

Thanks a lot for the kind words, we're glad you find it useful.
We are working on a couple of new features which we're sure you'll like

It looks like a decent Pushbullet replacement and I'd go for it if there was a Chrome extension/website functionality. I'm in a Chrome browser on a PC or Chromebook far more than on another Android device.

Ok, solved: for some reason my device wasn't listed in the playstore so the app was showing as not compatible.
Will you plan to give any discount for the upcoming black friday?

I've installed on 3 devices and I have select the app that I want the notifications from in the whitelist but I keep receiving notifications from every app.
There is a way to make a device just ricive notifications from the others and not send it?
Thaks

Hi
You have to only select the devices you want to receive mirrored notifications on.
This means if you only want to receive it on one device, only select that device under the main screen.
If you look at the attached screenshot as an example, only "Personal Phone" will receive mirrored notification.
The other two devices will be ignored.'
Hope this helps, if not don't hesitate to write back.

Sorry but it's not clear to me, if I want to receive the phone notifications on my other 2 devices (tablet and android car audio) but I don't want to receive any notifications on my phone from the other 2, is that possible?
The apps selected on the withe list are the one able to send the notifications?

Yes it is possible.
You will have to only check your tablet and car audio in the main screen of Bridge (the start screen when you open Bridge).
You phone must not be checked.
So only two devices must be selected.
If you have selected no apps under Whitelist, all apps will send notifications.
If you check one of more apps, only the selected apps will send notifications.
Hope this helps

Hopefully this is okay to post in this section. Although this app is payed for on the Android Market I am offering it to the XDA community for free.
SMS2PC is a small app that runs in the background on Windows, Mac and Linux and allows you to send/receive messages via your Android phone. This, at the time of release, was the first SMS sending app for Android. There are now lots of alternatives but I think my app still has the polish and desktop integration (you don't need to keep browser open) that some people prefer.
You can download the APK attached, copy over through USB etc.
To download the desktop client, visit: w w w .geekyscott. com / sms2pc/ (sorry i cant post links....)
I hope you will all enjoy the app. Please don't post it on other websites as I would like this to be an XDA-exclusive thing. In a few months when I get the time to clean my source, I will upload the source for everyone to use/extend.
Features:
Auto PC location (no need to enter IP address on WIFI)
Forwards SMS from mobile phone to desktop (osx, windows or linux(beta))
Multi-send messages from desktop
Phone address book sync with phone
Handles send notifications and delivery notifications
Secure Encryption
Customizable interface
USB support (enable debugging on phone)
WIFI support
Connect over internet via 3G
Syncs message history
Message smiles/emoticons
Custom desktop audio notifications
Streamlined, simple and clear interface
Thanks for being a great community.
p.s. My old account is ScottishGeek, it would be nice to merge that with this if any mods read this.

It can link to your computer via USB, WiFi or Cell. Cell isn't recommended unless you have a good quality 3G network. It will be able to send a message as long as you have the smallest connection to your cell tower. I for example, leave my phone in an area in my flat I get signal (near the window) and use my laptop to send receive deep in my living room where normally I am in a black spot.
So wait. This application will install on my PC, connect to my Android phone, and allow me to send SMS text messages to my phone contacts on my PC? I tried airdriod for that but I had to refresh in order to see new messages. Which was an inconvenience. If this is the case with this app, will it work in real time?

At this time there is no support for these messengers... but there is a possibility to make this happens. It really depends if the support 3rd party API's or if they have a simple database I can hook into. But sending may be a problem. Ill have a look.

If the Android API supports switching between dual sim then I will be able to implement this. I will have a look in the next few days.
Hi friend.. I think there is a problem between your program and Cerbelus. This morning I have been testing sending messages. Later, i´seen seen my phone communication has stopped working and then i have had to reset my device because was hanged. After reset and phone communications right i´ve received a message from Cerbelus with an alert message due SIM change. Now my Samsung SII works ok again but i turned off SMS2PC. Very strange. Can there be a conflict??

I am not sure why there would be a problem. I am using standard API's and Android design guidelines. I believe you are my first using using this Cerbelus software. If you could send me your logcat at the time of the problem I may be able to provide a fix for you.
I can't get it work with wi-fi connection. I allowed the TCP/UDP ports through the firewall, but no thing. USB connection works.

Sorry this is a bug I will fix at the weekend.
Wow looks great, i will have a play with this at the weekend.
I like how you can use it over 3g too, thats a big plus for me, could even use it over USB at work too!
Thanks for sharing this with us! :good:
You are a nice philanthropist! THANKS
:laugh:Man I am new to the XDA community but It seems that it's not everyday that a developer freely gives his paid app for the rest of the community. I already installed it and it seems to work quite fine.
Thanks a lot. Success man.
Wow
Great to see some apps with Lateral thinking.
I think it would be a great enabler for other apps in future.
Once again THANKS!!!
And great work!!!:good::good::good:
Awesome...
And thank you - I had been playing around some similar apps, but none really "fit the bill" for what I was looking for.
This looks to be exactly what I wanted, however - I'm having an issue with the connection over USB, I have it in debug mode and it's connected direct to the laptop, but times out at 12 seconds each time.
Can't test it over wifi because it's restricted from use in this environment, but will try it from home later today.
I suspect it will work just fine once I get it to the house, but it would be infinitely more useful here at the office...
Also, curious as to whether there might be some incompatibilities with one, or both of the OS's I'm using: Windows 8 Consumer Preview on the laptop and Ice Cold Sandwich 4.04 ICS on an Inspire 4G.

Notes (Beta)
Google+ Community - Beta signup - Play Store
Had to create a new community, apparently you can't change visibility to public after it's been created as private.
Hello world! I just (beta) released my own, first Android application to Play Store!
As of now it's in beta and I need your help!
I need testers!
I have created a group/community on Google+ where everyone is free to join (although it seems I have to accept individually.. Annoying!)
There you can find links to the beta signup and the app on playstore and you need to join the community to be able to download the Beta.
The plan is to take the app out of beta as soon as possible but that requires some serious testing and without you that's not possible!
So give me all feedback, even the worst kind! Bugreports, screenshots, hugs! Everything!
You can also share your ideas and thoughts. There is also a changelog section for updates!
Anyone speaking all but Swedish and English are very welcome to help translating the app!
Soon:
- Online storage
- Widgets
- Ability to share notes (E-mail, export to textfiles etc.)
- Themes (Color palettes basically)

I just downloaded this app and it looks very nice for a beta application.
I'd like to make one suggestion however. I can already see the security question you chose to implement in the security section of the app is going to cause a lot of fuss by the general public. I can already see people being weary putting their real credit card # in because they will think you will be able to see this answer. Then they are going to put in a fake #, forget what they used, and get locked out. This results in a 1 star review.
My suggestion is to create a list of 10 or so predefined questions they can answer. Even better let them type in their own question that they can answer.

Hi. Thank you for your time!
This has crossed my mind and had me thinking, but then I remembered the 4 last digits are the only ones that show (most of the times I can remember, anyhow) if you add a creditcard to a online site, for example. Plus its basically impossible to forget! So I thought this would make no difference, but I'm afraid you're right.
Other security questions will be in the next update (or after that one), because this is a very big deal. And ofcourse the ? button will be removed, its only for developer/beta purpose.
Thank you for pointing this out!

Hi and thanks for trying out my application.
The Statusbar
It cannot be colored as in android L because you cannot mix android L with previous versions of android since its the developer preview (it's just that, a preview). So the only way to do this (for now) is by replicating the design and other effects to make them work in previous android versions where the coloring of statusbar obviously cannot be done.
I could however, make a separate app only for android L but imagine having to work with two apps at once.. Alone.
When they release the full thing this will be possible in the same app by declaring the sdk to L (or whatever it will be called).
Offline Mode
The offline mode is for when I have an online database to keep the notes. As of now its only local. When this is ready, you will be able to choose whether you want to keep your notes online or local.
Thank you.

Just a couple of things:
a) Is there no longer a beta community? I go to G+ Community and then Beta signup, but all I see is:
Sorry – nothing to see here.
There may be several reasons:
The app that you’re looking for doesn't exist
or
the app developer is not currently running a test
or
you are not eligible to participate in the testing programme.
If you received the link to this page from someone, we recommend that you contact them for more information.

b) I have not installed it yet ... will do it soon, but in the meantime, on the screenshots, I see those label kind of things (Beta, Incredible, Similey, etc...) what are they? I mean, I would love to have either folders or "labels" as Gmail does so that I can group notes and then would like to have a lock/unlock feature for each group/folder/label.
c) I would also think it would be nice if the online feature allowed th user to save the notes to ones own Gmail or Google Drive account or even maybe dropbox or box.
Design looks nice.
Off to download, but will look at it only tomorrow.
Cheers!

The google+ community should be working as its supposed to. For me both links work fine. Have you joined the community before you try to join the beta?
These are tags. The tags are like categories. I am working on a way to sort these by tags. In the meantime all they do is to show you what kind of note it is.
To be able to share the note is one of my primary goals. You should be able to save to a local textfile, send by email and save to drive. I have successfully added a file in drive with the name of the title but the part where the content fills the file is very hard.
Thank you for trying out my app and thank you for f
The feedback. Much appreciated.
Gorgeous! Really good job here, here are some recommendations:
1/ Can you implement a feature, where I can restore my notes from Google Keep?
2/ Archiving notes, so only the important ones are visible
3/ Purple colored "Title" is burning my eyes!

I don't know how Keep works (I mean behind the scenes) so that might be difficult. Worth looking into though since alot of people are using Keep. Great tip.
Yes this will be implemented. You will be able to swipe away notes later on. This follows android guidelines and its very useful.
Oh, really? Sorry to hear that it's the color that burns your eyes or the actual little text? Its probably not needed since the inputfield has a hint saying 'Title'. Will look into it

I will remove it and see if it still looks good. It gives the top part some color though. Might look boring without it, but I will try.
Thank you again.

Our battery usage is much lower than Chronos.
On Kitkat, Chronos usually shows up with 5-7% of total battery usage.
LifeStats rarely shows up on the battery usage screen (and when it rarely does, it's usually at 2%)

I'll give this a shot. I tried the Friday app, but that wasn't what I needed. Perhaps this will be a better fit.
I have installed your app and I will test it!
Will I get an info or a reminder on sundays evening to review my last week? Would be an awesome feature!? Guess what I mean?
Maybe a lifestats on/off option, to disable or enable tracking.
You have to attach the app to either Facebook or Google+ or you can't sign in? Is there a typical email sign in option I missed?
Hi,
I'm currently trying lifestats on my Nexus 5. Nearly every time I access the app, I have to login. What can I do to change that?
Hi, this looks like a great app, I have one question tough. Is it possible to make it integrate with i.e. SmartBand, FitBit, etc...?
Hi Developer,
Is it the App for Automation testing? M I right...
It is a static data u taken and made a note book like app... is it so?
If it is like that, then it may be a good guide also...
Looks awesome!
Really could use an app like this.
But internet permission and linking to an account is a big no-no for an app that tracks everything i do.
Make the account optional, and I'd really be interested.

My feelings exactly!
I like the idea but have uninstalled. I'll check back every now and again to see if they fix this.
Your app told me that I have visited a car dealer some hours ago, but to be exact I was at my friend´s flat (and in his wifi network). How can I tell your app this?
And Foursquare doesnt know my gym!
And please use Android Material Design!
installed it first on my phone (stock sony z1c), crashed on the first launch then seemed to work.
then installed on my teclast p98 tablet, crashed on first launch then seemed to work.
but apparently data doesn't sync between devices, or ...? I logged in with my google account on both devices.

Hi Everyone,
zoharby that posted this is a co-founder (along with me and a few others) in a startup company placer.io , LifeStats shows some of the abilities our SDK's provides for the client side (much more on the server side), we welcome anyone that would like to use our SDK (also iOS), just contact us.
Back to the LifeStats, I'm the actual client side programmer who coded the Android app and I will try to be active here and answer any question, I love the xda community and hearing from you will surely improve the app as we go along, please stay active.
Lets start:

I find such reminders pretty bothering and tend to lead to uninstalls, I'm pretty surprising your asking for this. I can add it pretty quickly if I hear more requests or when we think of something fun to tell you about your week

We only read the age and gender from FB/G+ , it helps us better identify the venues you visit. At some point we will add a quick dialog to provide this info, for now you can be sure we don't abuse or post or do anything you will feel or dislike

We have an SDK and any developer can such cool ideas a shot in his own app, for now the lack of clear leader in the wearable field make development pretty risky and were not sure we have a "killer feature" we want to implement with those wearables, what did you have in mind ?

Press the car dealer place to enter the single place screen, you will then have a pencil icon on top and you can name the place and choose "private residence"
we will then use the data to be smarter next time , thanks
I think you add your gym to Foursquare but it will probably easy to modify the place
About Material Design, I'm a big fan but it was just introduced and its a bit early to modify the design, when Android L will be out it will be easier to get the proper feeling of how apps were modified to this Google vision.
Cheers

We reviewed many services and they were the best, they might be weak in some areas, where are you from ? Do the places you attend exist in FQ ?
We can use information from our users to improve our results, if you fix the places our algorithms will learn from it, it just takes time
I guess at some point we might also use Google Places buts its very noisy and lack many info we need for our logic (popularity, opening hours and etc...)

I just bought a 25 € on aliexpress are there any mod's to model?
DZ09 app
Hi,
I bought a DZ09 and received it last week. I am from the Netherlands...
I like the design and the display is also good. Some functions I will probably never use but in general a nice smartwatch.
I got mine for 28 euros and for that it is not bad.
Only problem is the software for the smartphone. The software you can download by scanning the QR code is Chinese.
Can not get that to work.
I have tried several app but I finally ended up with an app called RWATCH.
That one connects to the smartwatch, you can do all things with sms messages.
One thing is the app crashes to often. That is a pitty so I hope they will increase stability.
Secondly the health control in the smartphone RWATCH app does not seem to work.
Maybe I do something wrong or I just have to wait for an update of the app.
If the app runs it is a good tool.
Hopefully I will find some other software which will run smoothly on the smartphone.
Oh and I have a Samsung Note 4 running Lollipop nowadays.
for me the app downloaded to the barre code work perfectly

I know this is a little old, so hopefully you figured it out, but go here http://www.fundo.cc/other/download/FunDoAPP/
that's the qr code site. download the one labeled "BTNotifications Android". that's the one that works with the dz09.
Thank you thedarkharlequin for posting the proper link for us all above. I have had my DZ09 for just over 1 week. I had many issues with the original download wich is provided to you through the QR code located on the watch. After a day of fighting with it crashing all the time I looked to the app store on my SGH-I337M and saw a lot of promising looking apps that were all claiming to do the job. First I tried the BT Notifications like the watch said. Though it was an upgraded version it worked just as well as the first. I then tried other apps that claimed to work with the watch. Same story. Found an app called SmartWear which did the job for the notifications but left all the other capabilities in the dirt. Once I tried the link above I have had all functions and capabilities working 100%
Thanks thedarkharlequin - worked for me too.

Me 3, my DZ09 just arrived to Denmark from China after 6½ weeks of waiting, so plenty of time to bookmark your post, just love it, thank you SO much thedarkharlequin! :good:
BTW couldn't even get the darned bar-code to work (several QR-apps), maybe I turned off to much Google spy on my phone? Anyway the parring works like a charm with this app, only my DZ09 doesn't have the cool watch-faces and animations I've seen on videos so next step is another firmware, just hope my watch isn't a fake one..

Year, I thought I had found one just waiting for me (I did, her name is Berit, but that's a whole other story), but that was for MTK6250, ours are MTK6260A as far as I know, so didn't apply at all.. :silly: The tool provided in the download might work for us however, if anyone
ANYONE??
could find a nice firmware or even somebody who have the nice firmware in his/her DZ09 and knows how to scratch it out for share (I don't know that stuff)..
This is the site I found (and maybe so did some of you) http://chinagadgetsreviews.blogspot.dk/2014/08/mtk6250-bluetooth-154-lcd-watch.html Still not for us mind you, but if one of them brilliant nerds in here is watching, please help us! :fingers-crossed:
For you guys who have had there watches for a while can you answer me a couple of questions.
When the phone and watched are synced I like that you can see who is calling but I want to be able to answer my phone to speak and not talk through the watch! Even when I make a call on the phone while paired to the watch it comes out of thr watch and not the phone.
While using Google music I want to be able to skip songs etc thr only way this can be done is if the music comes out of thr watch but not when it comes out of the phone.
Thanks
Should have a look, I think this is what we've been looking for.
Try with a Pc Browser cause it can't open on mobiles' browses such as Chrome

Chip is the same, and I think the specs. are similar enough for the firmware to work on our DZ09s (but what do I know(?)), unfortunately both links are down, but I see the watch here in XDA, possible with firmware, haven't got time for a closer look today (tonight DK time), but will look into that tomorrow!
Edit nov. 11,
OK folks, I am very short of time today, but would someone please take a look at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/other-smartwatches/ai-watch-z20-mtk6260a-t2957013 and this site http://forum.android.com.pl/topic/202745-aiwatch-z20/ ? I think they may be our people although I somehow doubt the firmware mentioned has the fun/cool stuff we are looking for.

I checked the site and do what I'd had to do and my watch died so I used my guaranty now they repaired my watch
What I discovered is that we have a clone watch from u10 due to I found two types of firmware of the same watch but different type.
Our model is Zd09 no other so be careful cause you can install firmwares and they run buy your watch may be died or the screen can not work
batterry
batt damn , just bought and using about 3 hours, WEAK.
Can someone tell me if this watch is capable of sending/receiving text messages that come to your phone? I've been reading mixed messages on the net. I'm not talking about texts to the phone's own phone number.
Hey, I’ve got my hands on a DZ09 with exactly the cool animations, transition modes and watch-faces I believe quite a few of us are were looking for, but only for borrow. Does anybody know how to copy the firmware, so that we can work on getting it into our watches?

It most certainly can receive (via BlueTooth) messages sent to the pocket phone, it also receives emails sent to the pocket, and sometimes even (but not all) Skype messages. And you can browse text messages in your pocket as well as contacts and call records right on your wrist. I don't know about writing text messages and sending them through BT, haven't tried that because the keyboard/handwriting doesn't support Danish letters "æ, ø and å", but I suppose it is possible, only it's a very small screen for the purpose, don't think you would do that much as it is far more comfortable to use your pocket phone for writing.

You don't have to do anything special to get it working on T-Mobile, it'll automatically select the proper APN.
As for getting it set up for Google services:
Go to the VIVO App Market (no VIVO account needed for setting up GOOGLE) ,then type google and you will see:

Then click "下载" button on the first app ,then it will download and automatically install on your phone.
Then go to your phone's "file manager " and go to button and you will see this app:"Google Play1.apk",then click it to install.
And you will see this :

I've asked the same question elsewhere in the forum here,as to what specifically would be considered safe to delete, never got a response from the person who'd used ADB to disable/delete the VIVO Bloat.
There's this generic tutorial here:
https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/
As to what is safe,as a rule, it's about the same across the board from one mfg to the next, but,I don't have a VIVO-specific "safe list".

Thank you very much, I will go through it now and report back
EDIT: I didn't want to uninstall things that I felt were risky but everything I did "uninstall" using the guide was "safe"
I accidently closed console so I dont have a complete list of what I uninstalled (stupid mistake)
BUT it included:
vivo.com
vivo app store
vivo voice recorders
ALL Jovi applications and system apps (Jovi is unresponsive and does not open yay, but the screen shot Chinese store search still operates. I'm not sure what to uninstall to get rid of that)
all the vivo apps that were labeled only in Chinese and contained Chinese payment/social media applications that weren't system apps
imusic
imanager
browser
funtouch launcher
email
all applications that are replaceable by a working google version etc
There are system applications that I want to uninstall but they may play critical roles and I don't want to risk bricking the phone, basically I followed a rule that if it sounded like it did something important and/or was a system service DO NOT uninstall.
PS: These things worked for my phone and so far I haven't come across any issue. I do not take responsibility if the same does not work on your phone or something worse happens.

Thanks koliosis, I think I'll get the 845 variant. I have the Mi mix 2S right now and it's great. I was holding out for the Mi mix 3 but this Nex phone looks amazing. I'm just not too familiar with data bands and thought the 3 out of 5 stars for 4g meant no LTE.

Short-lived,I sold mine & ordered the Oppo Find X.
If you're looking for aftermarket development, look elsewhere.
The weirdness of the Funtouch U/I can be overcome, all the info to do so is posted in the forum here.
One BTW that's not well-known:
No NFC on-board...............................
Thank You ,you've been very helpful, that oppo find x caught my eye as well.

I switch phones quite frequently, so, my short time with the phone isn't a true indicator of my experience with it.
Overall, it worked for me, the specs, display/audio/camera, IMHO, are top notch.
Lack of NFC is a non-factor for me, so, I'd rate it an 8 of 10,losing two points for the Funtouch U/I, however as I mentioned, if you wish, that can be customized to your liking, it will just take a bit more work to get it that way.

I like to tinker with phones so I might pull the trigger on it. Thanks again.

My NEX has been on TMobile's 4G LTE since I received my phone 2 weeks ago with no hiccups.
That's music to my ears , where did you get yours? I'm thinking eBay or AliExpress.
