I have recently brought oneplus 6 from aliexpress it came with hydrogen OS so I want to install oxygen OS. I find the way to install oxygen OS by unlocking the bootloader. Can I relock bootloader after installing oxygen OS or relocking bricks phone as in Xiaomi? Please help. Thanks in advance.
Yes u can relock the bootloader i saw a video explaining it, but idk about after switching from hydragon to oxygen ?
Just use the unbricker to flash OxygenOS. That will take care of evreything including the locked bootloader.

Hi, I am planning to buy a realme 5 pro device. I love playing around with the custom roms and stuff. I want to know :
Is it easy to unlock the bootloader of the R5Pro ?
If i wanted to flash the stock rom, is it possible to do that?
And how about the OTA Updates and stuff after flashing the Stock rom?
How about relocking the bootloader?
I used a poco f1 before. It is so easy to flash the stock rom and relock or unlock the bootloader on the redmi devices. Please compare with if needed.

Please go ahead and buy it if you are tight budget
Xiaomi devices have more development then realme.
But real me too can be unlocked easily and flashed with custom ROM.
There are very good developers for this device too
Yes you can Unlock and relock bootloader in realme 5 pro. There are official methods to do these process.
There are lot of custom rom available and also you can flash stock rom even after flashing custom rom. You just have to flash OZIP file downloaded from realme website in TWRP and for software updates you can do the same process.
Hi guys, I rooted my op8t but I haven't installed custom recovery yet. I wanted to use cyberpunk modules(my phone version is KB2001 INDIA 12GB 256GB). After installing it I felt some flaws and I was thinking of flashing it over my secondary phone(Le max2) and keeping op8T as stock as possible. When I asked about this issue to my friends, they suggested not to relock the bootloader as it will corrupt the persist.img and I will loose the fingerprint unlock. Is there any way I can revert to full stock with bootloader locked without any problems?
Use the MSM tool. It'll convert it to stick and relock the bootloader. I have the US TMobile version and I have unlocked and relocked (when reverting to stock using MSM tool) ans I did not have any issues with fingerprint or any other issues.

I heard it will give problem to persist file resulting in fp scanner failure. I can understand what you are saying. I am bit worried as I installed some modules on magisk. Will it be ok?.
Also, I'm believing in you. Can u please tell me the procedure on how to do so

Install stock fastboot rom in miflash tool, it has lock bootloader option. Search for Munchy x3 pro back to stock fastboot on YouTube for a very detailed tutorial.

I have two questions.
First of all, after relocking the bootloader, would it require go through the 7 days countdown to unlock it again should I want to?
Secondly, would the process of relocking require wiping the phone?
Im not sure about the 7 days, but locking and unlocking bootloader deletes all data
Greetings Poco users, I just decided to relock my bootloader, but from my experience, on my last Redmi 7 when I did it, my phone turned to "Lock Mode" and after all I had to unlock it again. Is it completely alright, or you have any idea how I can do it?
Thank you in advance.

I mean you can re-lock without worry as long as you are running the stock OS and configs. If you try the same while running a custom ROM it would just hard brick your device. As suggested by the user above, Mi Flash Tool (the one you use to flash fastboot ROM's) has an option to lock the bootloader as well, very simple process.

Xiaomi flash tool and Miflash unlock are two different software.
When you relock the bootloader with Miflash tool you flash a rom and relock.
Miflash unlock as its name suggests is only used for unlocking.
You can use Mi Flash tool with any Miui rom by relocking or not.
obviously does not work with an AOSP rom.

My bad, messed the names up.
Thank you, I will try it when they release new build for EU version which is my stock ROM.
I've been thinking of unlocking the bootloader and changing the rom to Pixel experience. If I eventually decide to revert back to OOS would it be possible to also re-lock the bootloader?
Yes. You can do that via cmd or use the restore tool here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.4148415/
Be warned, do not try to relock bootloader untill you are full stock because you might brick the phone and be forced to use the tool i linked above ( i did it once )

I re locked the bootloader when I was on Pixel Experience Rom A11 using avb_custom key .img file. It was optional but I still did it successfully. However, I have not tried to lock bootloader on custom ROM since the 12 ROMs came as it is not mentioned anywhere so it might brick the device. If you want to re lock the BL then you'll have to go back to stock OOS. Try using the unbrick or MSM tool for OP Nord (Specific model/region).
