After flashing the stock firmware via Odin, if it is bootlooping, boot into stock recovery and factory reset then wipe cache partition then reboot and see if you still have the issue.
We can go deeper into the issue if that doesnt work.

[Resolved] S4 stuck in boot screen (I have access to recovery mode)

Hello guys, my rooted S4 I9500 is stuck at boot screen. I tried to flash liquid smooth but it failed, but I still have access to recovery mode though, I did factory reset/wipe data but the problem still persists. I'm kind of new to this, can anyone help me? Is my phone fixable or is just bricked for good?
Thanks.

Can you boot to download mode?
If so try connecting to Samsung kies application for windows and see if it the emergency recovery will work on your device, it depends if Samsung has made your stock firmware available in kies yet. If they have added support for it in kies or if the stock firmware has been made available for download then you should be able to use kies to do the recovery or if the firmware is available online somewhere or at sammobile.com then you can download it and use Odin to recover it. I don't know if your stock firmware is available anywhere though but you can start a search if you can find out what the build number of your stock firmware is, find your build number and do a search for it, or you can try finding someone that has been successful in rooting theirs and have them use terminal emulator to pull a ROMdump of the stock ROM into an .img file that can be used to flash to your device as long as PC recognizes your device and your device can get into the right mode.

Until today there is no way to root Samsung J1. For data backup and restore you can use Helium, but its function is limited.

Download your complete stock firmware for your device's model number and flash it through Odin.
Then find the correct rooting method and start over.
I was crying, the problem was on my mom's Galaxy J1. Everytime i want to start that phone, just logo and red exclamation mark and that was so awkward. I hate this because i just can go to the download mode ONLY. Please help :crying::crying::crying:

If you can get to download mode then you can download your stock firmware file and flash it through Odin. Look it up, do a Google search for "stock firmware (your device model number)", this should give you links to your firmware, download it and place it where you can find it on PC.
Then do a Google search for "USB drivers for Samsung phones", install the drivers, install Samsung kies(can be found with a Google search) if you need to and it will install your drivers correctly.
Then do a Google search for Odin 3.10 and install it on PC.
Boot phone to download mode. Connect device to PC with stock cable, open Odin, if the device is recognized you'll get a blue or yellow comm# box and it will say <ADDED> in the dialogue box in Odin, select the AP button in Odin, browse to where you put your stock firmware on your PC and select it, when back in Odin screen, click Start, let it flash and you'll get a green PASS and the device will reboot, let it boot and load, it will be slow, after booting sign in and you're good to go.

Are you sure you're flashing the correct stock firmware for your device model number?
Try flashing and if it gives you the bootloop, try booting to recovery and doing a wipe cache then reboot, if that doesn't work, try booting to recovery again and doing a factory reset in recovery and wipe cache then reboot.
If that works to get the pre rooted firmware booted into system and you want to get back to stock I can tell you how to unroot your device and leave it that way or unroot and then flash the original non rooted stock firmware.

I also got that on incorrect firmware

Tried flashing TWRP stuck at "recovery is not SEandroid enforcing"

So I updated my s6 to 6.0.1 OTA. Then decided to root using CF-root.
Now when I try installing the custom recovery it just stays at the screen. I can boot normally & into download mode. But it won't boot into recovery mode. I downloaded the latest version for my phone model and it still doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?
Also, what is SEandroid?
And another question off topic. I usually use textdroider to change my dpi on my previous phones but it doesn't seem to work for my s6. Any ideas?

I use arter97 twrp 3.0.0.2 and when enter recovery mode, the phone show like that but it work well
The worst is waiting to see if the flash worked or not... it stays on the boot screen for a while :fingers-crossed:
If you flash the 3.0.2.1 version of twrp from here this issue should be resolved.

Awesome that worked! Thanks! One last question... My phone is encrypted and because of that, I'm not able to back up my phone, at least that is my thought process, is there anyway around that? Also does this mean i can't install zip files either?

Help! NO OS installed/Need help flashing stock ROM to soft(?)-bricked S6 SM-G290F

So yesterday i done a pretty stupid thing of restarting my phone after I hid my SU binary using hide my root. This left what i think was a soft-brick as it was stuck on the samsung animation. I then stupidly enough got confused with my TWRP recovery menu and ended up wiping out my OS, leaving only the TWRP recovery on the phone. I then decided to download a 6.1.1 stock rom for my SM-G920F. When i tried flashing however, somehow ODIN froze and i made another stupid mistake of restarting my phone from download mode which resulted in the phone being froze on a screen saying " an error has occurred while updating the device software use the emergency recovery function s6 " cant provide an image as this is my first post, but please google the error message if you wish to see it
So i panicked thinking my phone was dead completely and surrendered, but today i managed to hook it up to TWRP and flashed the recovery. Now when i bootup i can access download mode and it boots straight to recovery. To make matters worse I began trying to download the original rom i recieved when i got the phone, however when i try flashing i get errors such as " SW rev, Check Fail: 'x' binary 'y' device "
(x and y vary for each stock rom i tried flashing.)
I have no way of finding out my firmware, bootloader info or anything. Is there ANY fix to this? I've made a huge mess of everything and I'm now desperate. Please, any advice would be a god-send. Thank you for withstanding this crappy post, I'm kind of a noob at xda.
EDIT 1- So I managed to install a custom ROM and kernal as i could transfer files while in TWRP for some reason but a new problem has showed up. So as of right now I have a custom rom installed which works, but when reboot my phone, TWRP is automatically opened after the initial samsung logo. I usually have to reflash my custom ROM (without wiping any data besides cache and dalvik) and the ROM installer will then reboot into the ROM, however this means when my phone turns off, my recovery is booted up instead of the ROM
I'm sensing some sort of Bootloader problem?

First off i dont own an S6 (im still rocking the S4), but i have had some problems over the years but always managed to fix them in the end.
So while in Download mode are you not able to Flash Stock ROM (downloaded from samfirmware) via ODIN (following the instructions on the site)?
In TWRP are you not able to flash a custom ROM (probably with OTG cable if you dont have the ROM stored on the internal memory).
Any issues i have had i have always been able to do at least one of the above methods. If you cant do either or, im not sure what else i would try.
Thanks

If you flashed a stock firmware successfully it will not boot into twrp, flashing a stock firmware will install stock recovery, which means the stock firmware did not flash properly. Have you tried smart switch at all? Are you sure you have the correct firmware to flash through odin?

Yes I am sorry I didn't explained that. Atfer I tried to install stock ROM it got stuck, then smart switch didn't recognize the device but I manage to do the emergency recovery thing with model number and s/n but same thing it got stuck on the same installing system update screen. Download Samsung SmartSwitch and from the upper menu select Emergency Recovery Mode, put your phone in Download Mode and connect it to your computer, enter your model number and S/N when asked, and it will download and install latest firmware for your model.
Sorry, i haven't seen that you already tried that.

That means TWRP works and Fastboot/Download works. What is the actual Galaxy S6 model? Mine is G920F.
What custom ROM did you try?
What version of TWRP are you using? The wrong one can create issues.
Did you wipe the phone trough TWRP first? Twice? Including internal memory?
