Anyone has a solution in Multi window where the 2nd screen freezes when not focus. I want to use 2 apps without the other apps freezing

Hi All,
The camera crashes sometimes and I have to force close it. When I try to open it again, it displays a black screen for 2 seconds with maximum brightness then kicks me back to my home page.
I have disabled Geotagging and going to Settings -> Applications -> Manage
Clearing the camera data
Clearing the cache
Force stopping & reopening the camera app. does not resolve the problem.
I need to restart my phone in order for it to start working again.
Does anyone know of another way to revive the camera after it crashes without having to restart?

I'll assume that camera worked properly when you installed the rom. If that is the case, just flash the SAME rom on top of it, without wiping anything, and you should be fine.

I'm running InsertCoin 3.4.0 and not having any problems with the camera or ROM itself, but rather a third-party application that will sometimes crash the camera and prevent the camera app. from being opened again until I restart.
Just would like to know if there's anyone out there that knows of a way to restart the camera without restarting the phone?

my samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 was upgraded to 4.1.1 from 4.0.1 recently. and ever since the update, even tho auto rotate is turned off, it will rotate on the lock screen and alot of apps. I upgraded to 4.1.2 hoping it would fix it, but it didnt. so besides using an external app, any way to fix this?

The apps are supposed to rotate. You need 3rd party apps.

but this is what i dont get, is like, the youtube app used to stay locked in landscape if i locked the screen in landscape. now ever since the update it turns whenever the screen is. and as some one who locks in landscape to use while laying on my side, this gets annoying

Any one face flickering screen when opening samsung browser/face book when you try to re open it through multitasking?
I'm facing the same problem. It doesn't matter if I open the apps via multi tasking or open it directly via the home screen. I still face the same problem from time to time. I notice this screen flickering issue only affect Facebook and default samsung internet browrser.
First of all, I am not sure whether this is a device issue or an app issue but here's my problem,
When I download snapchat and open it for the first time, it opens in fullscreen and takes fullscreen pictures. The navigation bar is also translucent at this time. However, when I close snapchat and stop it from running in the background then reopen it, the navigation bar is solid black and it no longer takes fullscreen pictures. I have tried uninstalling all other apps to see if they were affecting it, but the problem remains. I have asked everyone I know who also owns an S8/S8+ is they have also experienced this but none of them have. The only solution I have found so far is to uninstall the app and re download it so I'm hoping that someone here knows what is causing this and can help me.
I've never had SC take full screens photo's. Always the black bars.

I want to report that when I try to use the app in split screen or in a popup window on my tablet, almost always I get a crash. My device: Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e, Android 11 (I belive with A10 was the same). I'm attaching logcat.
