Update first then flash twrp. You won't lock the bootloader. Once unlocked you stay that way.

Can I unlock bootloader on 5.1.1 eXistenZ rom?

How can I unlock the bootloader on my rooted 5.1.1 d6603 eXistenZ rom without having to loose all my data? And if that's not possible, then how can I unlock the bootloader period? Does it matter if you're rooted and can you do it while on 5.1.1?

You always lose data when you unlock the bootloader.
It does not matter what ROM you are on or if you are rooted.
Any ROm that works on locked bootloader also works on unlocked bootloader
To unlock the bootloader go here http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/unlock-yourboot-loader/
Will I loose root and my dual recovery and if so is there root for 5.1.1? Thanks for the help.

No, (well you shouldn't) as root and recovery are installed to the system. Unlocking the boot does wipe data though.
And if once you have an unlocked bootloader you can always root any firmware on any android version. That's the main reason to unlock the bootloader. You will also be able to delete recovery from your system and have a custom kernel with recovery built into it.

TWRP Bootloop??? :/

hey guys!!
well, i've tried to root my nexus 5 and...got stuck i a twrp bootloop :/
is there any way to get back to a "normal" android stock rom or something like that?
bootloader is unlocked (LOCK STATE - unlocked) and fastboot has access to my device (fastboot device shows my phone).
thanks for any reply, i'm a little bit scared of it...
greetings!!
Hi.
You can use wugfresh's Nexus Root Toolkit and that will help you out in going back to stock ROM and others.
Also, can you explain further what you've done? Since you've unlocked your bootloader and have access to TWRP, just flash a ROM that already has root and you'll be out of the bootloop
For ROMs look in the Android Development/ Original Android Development sections.

[SOLVED] Galaxy S6 G920FQ Bootloader unlock?

As I said in the title my device is G920FQ model. I want to try custom roms, is it already bootloader unlocked or is there a way to unlock bootloader? I've searched this place but couldn't find anything.
Also if it is bl unlocked can I just flash TWRP without rooting my device first?
EDIT: Got it all sorted out.

J700F Bootloader

I have many questions with this bootloader. I'm new to this things. Sorry. Btw I have the J700F J7(2015) model.
1. Is there any way to know if my phone is in locked bootloader or unlocked?
2. I'm planning to install the Pixel Experience rom and I've read that i must unlock the bootloader first. I know that I must be from stock rom. Then I will install the TWRP, then root, then proceed to flashing the rom. In this process, where will I unlock the bootloader? Do I need it to be unlocked before I install the TWRP?
3. I know that I can google it, but is there an easiest way to unlock the bootloader?
Sorry, I have many questions.
