Dolby ATMOS for Note 4

Here I present Dolby ATMOS for our beloved Note 4 devices... Work great for me.. Battery efficient too... Tested... Should work on every Custom ROM available out there for our devices.
TESTED FOR SNAPDRAGON VERSION ... NEEDS TESTING FOR MEDIATEK VERSION
Installation :
1. Enter into recovery ( TWRP )
2. Wipe cache and dalvik.
3. Flash the ZIP
4. STEP 2
5. ENJOY
NOTE : Install magisk before flashing the zip... to avoid any kind of FC

it didnt work on Rn4 SD working on ressurection remix with latest magisk entities installed.The app keeps showing ANRs...Thanks anyways.

I use the Axon version for insane soundquality on my RR Redmi note 4 global. Just read the topic for options but all versions work on my Redmi note 4 (Snapdragon).

How can this be uninstalled?

Overall the volume is increased but when i use the headphones, I can hear the hisssssssss or crackling sounds during the voice.

I guess there's no uninstall since it was flashed from twrp.
Just disable and it's gone.

How did you get the Axon7 working on the redmi note 4? It crashes for me.

Download VIPER
On Aroma Installer:-
Flash the core system ONLY
Remove Deepbuffer
Select Permissive
Select SD Card fix
For Magisk Users:-
Flash Magisk 16.0.0
Go to Download & search for "VIPER4Android FX Materialized" (v1.5.2) (2.5.05)
Install & Reboot

Mines working perfectly. Downloaded and flashed through magisk.... literally had no issues other than TWRP not displaying the internal/SDcard.

Viper 2.3.4.0 work on Oreo (download from magisk repo, by Ahrion and use Vol- for install 2.3.4.0) with magisk on all builds, but Dolby Atmos not work on 8.0

i install both but there is no change in sound...it says status abnormal

Just install the old version from the magisk app. Works great together with JamesDSP and Icesound module

What about v4a with Magisk v16? It doesn't work for me, when I install any version found in Magisk repo.

7.magisk manager for recovery - the best way to use Magisk manager in recovery mode (twrp) by using command to delete or disable the modules while in recovery.( If a module boot looped your phone this is the best way to delete the module ) and the phone will be back again
8. Moded pixel2 launcher - obivously pixel launcher with some more customization
9. Redmi note 4 mic fix - for most of the Oreo ROMs there is a slight audio disortation while recording videos this can help to work flawlessly
10.viper4android - unleash the best sound mod settings for your phone speaker, headset, Bluetooth headset with many controls
11.youtube vanced - same as YouTube but without ads and we got background playback ...by install this module this app installed on your phone systemlesly.

Yes there is an app in playstore ...
But this has the best controls over the phone audio output
Just install the module you will get an preinstalled app after the reboot

No but i have 1 problem
When i install the viper 4 android module after i installed YouTube vanced after reboot the youtube vanced disappeared

1st you have to disable the YouTube app before installing YouTube vanced if it is done correctly and also problem persists ...then
I don't know what's the problem......
I suggest you to ask this in their module thread link .
If there is no solution.
Reinstall your ROM along with official gapps (8.1) not the unofficial one ....

There are 3types of viper4Android module in magisk manager
The one am using is
Viper4Android FX for magisk v15

Tested on: Aosp extended v5.7 / resurrection remix 6.1 /bootleggers . ( Should work with any other Oreo rom)
Info: Not tested with any version of miui ! Test yourself . I am not going back to miui .

Unlocked bootloader
Custom recovery
Magisk 16.x
Recommend recovery:
Redwolf recovery (recommend)
Twrp official .
Other twrp based recovery.
For safety flash lazy flasher if you are not using redwolf recovery / if you are in miui .
MUST BACKUP YOUR CURRENT ROM/DATA
Instruction:
Reboot into recovery.
Flash the zip file.
Flash lazy flasher zip (if you are in miui and not using redwolf recovery.note recommend for other rom)

Tried this in AOSIP and still don't boot.

Not booting on LineageOS 15.1 with Derp kernel 2.2
Edit: I tried with TWRP without lazyflasher. If you get a bootloop you can flash this tool. There are instructions of how to use it in the thread. With "mm" you can uninstall the Dolby Atmos Magisk module and the phone will boot again.
Edit2: Just tried with the latest RedWolf and it's still not booting.

Ugh someone finally is going to fix the Dolby Atmos support for our phone as the sound over the headphones is awful.
I'm still forced to use my old Le 2 because of that...

Hey Dev ! Thanks for your effort and time for making this.
But today i tried flashing it and ended up with Error: 1.
I am currently AOSP Extended Rom with the latest 5.8 version.
i am also using Magisk 17.0 which is the latest one.
I installed the zip file through TWRP latest (previously lazy flasher installed).
I also tried Init.d Injector through Magisk Before Dolby installing and ended up with the same error.
What would be the solution to this?

[GUIDE] How to install Dolby Digital Plus on Android Pie

For quite some time I've been looking for ways to install Dolby.
Whenever I tried to install this mod with other guides, Dolby closed itself and there was no way to use it.
Today, I found the method myself (by chance) to install DDP (Dolby Digital Plus)
REQUIREMENTS​
Android Pie
Root with magisk
Internet
4. Luck (does not usually work the first time)
DOWNLOADS​
All versions of dolby compatible with Android Pie-Oreo I recommend the latest version.
ViPER4Android Use only the STABLE version. Download via XDA Labs
Steps​
1. Download ViPER4Android from XDA Labs (https://labs.xda-developers.com/store/app/com.pittvandewitt.viperfx)
2. Download the ViPER drivers. Just enter the application and say "Yes" when the pop-up message appears. (The mobile will reboot)
3. Go to Magisk and verify that the Viper4Android module is installed.
4. Install this module in Magisk.
5. Download Dolby and install it in Magic from the "+" button in Modules.
6. Restart
7. Verify that we have the Dolby module and the application.
8. Now, you can open Dolby and it will work perfectly. If not, try again from the beginning.

Tested on a Xiaomi Mi A1
ROM: Resurrection Remix 7.0.1 May.

You just need Dolby unity and audio modification library from magisk.

I'm on resurrection remix and no problems, maybe you are on stock or having issues with others audio FX apps.

Yeah, uninstall that with titanium backup and try. I would try tho a clean flash if your system is too dirty for messing too many times installing that. or restore a clean backup.
